* You will need a copy of your current eyeglasses prescription (it’s different from your contact lens prescription) and your PD measurement. Sometimes your PD will be on your prescription, but if not, watch this instructional video on how to measure it.
* After you have chosen your frames and selected your shipping method, you’ll go to a “Order Review & Payment” page, where you can enter and apply your coupon code. After applying your code, you will see your order total before you choose to check out (remember that you will have to pay shipping/handling charges of $10-$15)

I am a certified Optician and have been fitting glasses for over 20 years. Some comments on this deal:
Be VERY careful when buying progressive lenses, or any type of bifocal. These must be measured to be placed in the exact right place or you will be looking thru the wrong part of the lens and they won’t work for you.
This deal is great if you are ordering single vision lenses but I would not order any bifocal or multifocals with it. The margin for error is huge with those types of lenses. Also, if you are ordering for a child, you MUST get Polycarbonate lenses for safety. The plastic lenses that come with this deal will be very thick and if they break, they splinter into tiny pieces and that is not safe.

Thats because it is against the law for your eye clinic to release your Rx over the telephone. You can always pick up a copy of your prescription from your eye doctor or have it mailed/ faxed to you.

They put up the code early and said to go ahead and use it. I only lucked out and got a pair cause I went in and refreshed my page with the code(so it would not time out my session)(been doing this since 8a.m.) and the code went through at 10:30cst. Great deal though $400 glasses for $13.76 shipped.
I have been trying to get on that website for an hour and a half. I have a good internet connection, but I have been unable to get on there. I haven’t been even able to get things to load. I really needed those glasses, my toddler broke my other pair and we simply can’t afford to spend money on new ones…and unfortunately, I can’t see without my glasses.

It took me about 50 minutes but I got a pair shipped for only $11.98 I rushed through picking the frames for fear I’d be too late for the promo by the time I got to checkout. I intend for these to be my backup glasses so if I can see through them I’ll be more than pleased!

Got my glasses! The site was slow, but totally worth it! My discount was $55. I did have to pay $30 for some special lenses b/c of my astigmatism. The free glasses are only for the basic lenses, so if you have special needs or have a prescription that is not between -2 and +4, they recommend ordering a thinner lense, which I did. Great deal though!

Just an idea for people who didn’t (or even people who did)… Check retailmenot.com for possibly a deal that is just as good/better depending on the glasses you need.
Back story:
DH and I were on the site last night to do a “dry run” and find a pair of frames he liked. Glad we did the dry run bcs we had to scroll down a number of times to see the next step (ie, where to enter the prescription, etc).
1. They were a lot of frames out of stock and he only found 1 that he liked (and I agree)
2. (POSSIBLY) VERY IMPORTANT to you. He needs bi/trifocals so he gets Progressive lenses (no line) and there were a very limited number of frames in stock that could accommodate that type of lens (not all do)

I have bought from Zenni and had mixed feelings. One pair I love, the other I hated. They aren’t as good of quality of course as the glasses that you spend $2-400 for, but hey, for an extra pair, $12 is great with me! I hope I like these- will order again in the future if they’re good! I LOVE how they can invoice you to send a check in later instead of entering credit card info! Can’t wait to see my new glasses!
I had no trouble ordering mine, and am pretty excited about paying less than $8 for a pair of glasses. I just hope they work/look okay – I just picked a frame that someone mentioned in passing would look good on me. . . I am still wearing glasses that no-one (including me) likes because I can’t make decisions on frames when I try them on. So if they work – it will be an amazing $8 spent, and if not, a waste. So I guess it’s a gamble!

Took several attempts, I was just clicking on pairs I thought were cute but by the time I was able to get my prescription in they were sold out, so I skipped to page 13 and clicked on a pair there and was able to complete the purchase. When I submitted it, went to an error page so I hit the back button and then hit refresh and it was Order was successful! I then checked my email and had a confirmation waiting for me!!!!
