We actually have 4 of these throws (one for each kid) and they are nice. Grandma bought them for my kiddos last year and they have held up well. My kids use them as their movie blankets – whenever they watch a movie and want to snuggle. Ours aren’t personalized but they work well. Hope this helps someone.

I just received a purple tinkerbell one and it looks really nice. Good quality and the embroidery looks like it will hold up to washing. It says Melissa. Unfortunately it was supposed to have been a red pair of Mickey Mouse pajamas that said Jenny. Not sure how that got messed up. But the lesson here is open your package and double check your order, as sometimes they get confused.

We are planning a disney vacation with our kids (a secret vacation) and I am stocking up on disney stuff to give them during their trip so we aren’t buy ultra expensive suveniers while we are there. I live near the disney catalog factory and bought outlet gifts before our trip a few years ago. A new souvenir at the beginning of every day sure did make things easier at the parks! Good luck!
Awesome Idea..I do that every Disney trip with my dd..always have something Disney to give her, that I bought elsewhere, you will be amazed at how much it saves you.
I was at Disney last weekend, and we ended up at the Florida Mall, which has a Disney store, dd3 wanted a Rapunzel Doll, which was $14.95, since i had money left on a giftcard and she was so good, I bought it for her. Then later in the day, we ended up at Downtown Disney and the same doll was $16.95 at the store there. I was shocked at the price change/difference, same doll and the same company. I also noticed, some items that are for sale at Target were anywhere from $3 more to double the price, and yes they were identical items. So it does pay to purchase items elsewhere, as much as I love Disney, they do love to charge more for items on property.
As a Central Floridian who lives about 20 minutes from Disney, I would suggest checking out the Walmart at 192 and Hwy 27 (or the CVS/Walgreen’s in the area if you have a lot of ECB/RR) for souvenirs. I would also suggest bringing your own glow-y toys. As soon as the sun starts setting, they open carts all over all the parks full of spinning lights, headbands, etc and they’re especially tempting as you sit on the curb and wait for the night time parade/fireworks show. My daughter is too little to have the gimmes yet but I would imagine that a tube of the glow sticks that connect to make bracelets/necklaces from the Dollar Tree could be substituted in place of a $10-$15 toy.
If you’re coming during the summer, Walmart sells the misting water bottle fans for under $5, which run about $15 in the various theme parks (Disney, Sea World, Universal). You can also get a pack of ponchos at the Dollar Tree for the seasonal afternoon storms/water rides instead of paying $10-$15 for a theme park poncho.
I don’t know how you do what you do, but I am SO grateful for these deals you post!! Christmas shopping has never been as easy as it has this year . . . and I’m on a tight budget with two little guys. I haven’t needed to haul the boys out to do any shopping 🙂 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I am buying these for my 5.5 year old daughter. The size is 50×60 so I think it’ll be plenty big!
I bought one for my 2, 3, 4, & 8 year old boys. The 8 year old is a little small for his age, so I think that 50X60 will be plenty big. We are going to Disney in March, so these will be perfect for the long car ride there!
The ages I bought for are 2, 9, and 14. The oldest loves Nightmare Before Christmas so he being included with his younger sibs on this deal :).

yes, call the company and explain the situation. they will probably give you gift card for difference to be used on future on-line purchases. At least this is what they did for me when this happened to me last year.

Oh, love this! I’ve been looking for a good excuse to get rid of the 90 million baby blankets we have now that my twins are getting a bit too big for them and these should make great replacements…and they match the squishy foam chairs they sit in to watch movies, so bonus!

My mom actually bought me one of these for Christmas last year (personalized, purple Tinkerbell) as a joke, but the joke is really on her! I LOVE this blanket! Doesn’t matter that I’m 23 sitting on the couch snuggling with a purple Tinkerbell fleece, it is sooo comfortable! 😉 Also, it’s really big, so I can easily cover up with it. It’s also extremely soft and I would say it’s mid-weight… Not too thin, but not unbearably thick. HTH anyone who is debating on this one! 🙂 I’m thinking about getting one for our 3 year old niece…
