I Am Thankful For…
OK, so I admit this is a little cheesy and something that I used to dread as a teenager, but I feel that it is necessary and so appropriate to share what I am thankful for this year. And what better day to share this with you than on Thanksgiving.

The fact that I am able to spend Thanksgiving with my whole family in Idaho surrounded by the mountains covered with over 2 feet of snow…

I am thankful for my parents who allow and encourage me to go after all my dreams.
My siblings and niece and nephew who loves me and is there for me no matter the situation.
For friends who lift me up when I am down and just relate so well to me.
For my wonderful boyfriend who even though can not be with my family or his own (he is in the army and on duty today on base) sent flowers to my mom, his mom, my sister, my sister -in -law, his four sister, and me
THe opportunity I have to go to school and make a difference in the world one day

This is so not cheesy and it is kinda funny because I made my son (9) make a list last night of what he was thankful for, things he could do to improve himself, things he could do to help a friend or neighbor and lastly what would he willingly sacrifice for others.
I thank the Lord for blessing me with a wonderful hubby of almost 15 years, my 18yr old stepson, who is a new Marine and will be missing the holidays with us this year, and my 9yr old son that is more precious to me than life itself. I am thankful for my loving parents, my sister (shh don’t tell her), my beautiful nieces & nephews, and all of my extended family. I am also thankful for my home and the job my husband has that provides me a way to stay at home. I am very thankful to Hip2Save for helping me save so much money! My list could be longer but these are the most important things to me. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

As cheesy as it sounds, i am thankful that my daughter can walk. with cerebral palsy and a rare genetic disorder both of which affect her muscles and balance systems she is such a trooper. never tell her she can’t do something. unless you are using reverse psychology. which i have done before 🙂

I wanna be in Idaho in the snow!!! Not at all cheesy Collin, family is EVERYTHING. I’m thankful that I have my hubby, daughter, one of my twin sons (20) and a grandchild here in San Antonio. My other son Matt is in the Marines so he’s not here this Thanksgivingm but I am grateful that tomorrow we fly up to see him at Ft. Leonardwood and get to spend a few days with him and then we’ll all be together at Christmas. I was born in England and my dad, step-parents, sisters, brother, nieces and nephew are all there, and I treasure the times I am able to spend with them. We were together back in September and we had a blast – we all love each other and get along, even tho we’re your average dysfunctional family!!

Unfortunately I’m not close to family and friends like a lot of other people are. But I’m thankful that my frugal lifestyle allows me to have a decent home and food and not have to worry about bills; for my pets who keep me company when I am otherwise alone; for freebies, coupons and blogs that occupy my time and allow me to share with others; for my job that although I dont enjoy it, it provides me a stable life.

Honestly, I’m so grateful for this blog and for everything I’ve learned about couponing…it’s been such a blessing to have what we need in excess as my husband and I struggle to make it on student loans through medical school. I’m also immensely grateful for my husband who works so hard in school and for how much he puts me and our 2 boys first even though his school work is so demanding. I’m grateful that I’m educated to be a nurse and that I’m able to choose to stay home to raise my little boys. I could go on and on about how grateful I am for my family, but I also have to mention how grateful I am to be Christian and to know Christ.
I am very thankful for my family and friends! I am also thankful for my freedom! My son is the best thing to be thankful for….and last but not least I’m thankful for Hip2Save, Collin and all the hard working people that help me save lots of money!!
I am very thankful to God for my family! I love my 18 month old son more than anything!!
