Finally gave up on the website and called. Took about 6 minutes to go through but finally did. Not the friendliest customer service but at least I was able to get some of what I want.
I used the “express checkout” option and was able to both choose my ship-to-store location and complete my order in about 10 minutes! Thanks 🙂

Wow, that took me about an hour. Tried to call but could not get through that way either. Anyway, I was able to get the Rapunzel dress, the 15-piece doll set and the activity table all for just over $25.00….saved $106!! WooHoo, thanks Collin!! These are perfect for the Adopt-a-Family gifts for our Daisy and Brownie troops!
I just called my local store and talked to the catalog dept. They took my order over the phone no problem. These are going to make for some happy gifts under the tree as well as super birthday gifts for the upcoming year for little friends!
I called my catalog dept and they said they were not allowed to take orders over the phone. i either had to call the 1-800 customer service or come in to the store. I told them they were having technical difficulties and she said then we probably are too.

Update: Thanks for the advise to call the local store catalogue dept! It was also time consuming but it worked! (Just be careful, the dresses are coming up 17.99 on sale this way, but when I corrected her and said it was through Wed deals, it worked). Now, I just hope there are actually items left and they don’t cancel the order.
EVERYONE! i don’t know if this was a fluke for me, but try to check out now. Mine had been erroring since this post at hip2save. I just got through the whole checkout process in 2 minutes!
I had trouble with the website too, but it only took about 5 minutes to order with their customer service. I got three of them for less than $30, wooohooo!

After trying for over four hours both online and by phone, I called my local Penney’s store (thanks to your suggestions) and they referred me onto the catalog center where I got right in! The lady was very helpful, and it was very quick. The number is 1-800-233-1189. Some of the items I wanted were out of stock by the time I got through, but overall I will have some very happy kids! I have been trying since 1:00 to get these and kept getting an error. After an hour I went to run errands. Then when I got back tonight I tried again. I then called the 1-800# off and on for an hour with no luck. Then someone suggest I call the local store. I explained the site was down, she told me to call the 1-800#. When I told her it wouldn’t connect she said I can’t help you. Of course the websites comment email was working so I explained everything and sent off a comment. Then someone here suggested checking our emails. LOW AND BEHOLD the order went through at 2:40 and I just saw it at 8:20. UGH! I really love my niece. 🙂

Rapunzel dress and princess castle are sold out….Customer service rep told me the website is NOT WORKING yet, so if you are still trying to get through on there, don’t. I ordered two of the dress, the four doll set and the drag racing car. Still a good deal. SO SAD about the princess castle set though. =( If anyone has an extra one….
i agree about the castle. it was in my “shopping bag” for over an hour while i was trying to check out and i FINALLY got someone on the phone it was sold out. super not happy.
I just love jcpenney. You get something in the cart and all the way to picking a store and then the whole thing messes up and kicks you off. Thank you jcpenney I will take my money somewhere else.

A few hours later, a rep called back to tell me the Rapunzel dress was sold out. 🙁 Luckily, there were still some more Sleeping Beauty ones. Did anyone else have the issue where you would put something in your shopping cart but when you went to check out it was something totally different? Up in the corner it would say 1 item @ $5.99 (I wanted the 4 dolls) and I would get to the final page to confirm my order and there it would be a cash register, a doll bed, the towel set: it was different every time I tried. Also couldn’t get through to CS by phone so I took that as my sign that we just don’t need those dolls.
Wow! I was just able to order online. I have tried on and off all day online and by calling. Just tried one more time before bed and it went through. Granted, it messed up my order at the end, but I deleted what I didn’t want and was still able to order one belle dress. Thanks Collin! My daughter is going to love this!
The site was a little slow, but I was able to order a couple of dresses! Yay! Bummer that Rapunzel is out of stock. I was still able to get Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. These will be great for Christmas!
