Is the book actually free? After I placed my order, I logged into my account to review it, and under “Price” it states: “Price not available (Before shipping, we’ll e-mail the price to you for your approval.)”
I got the same message too. We’ll see what comes of it. I got it as an additional stocking stuffer or perhaps to donate so I won’t be terribly heart broken if the order doesn’t go through. As long as Amazon doesn’t go charge happy on my account.

So is anyone else terribly disappointed with the Amazon holiday deals so far this year? Last year it seemed everyday they had a great deal on a toy or games. Board games especially…they constantly had a few for 80% off or $3.99. This year Amazon’s “bargains” are 40% off…boo.
Actually I’ve been pretty satisfied, I guess it depends on what you’re shopping for! 😀
My sister and I were JUST talking about this. Their deals have been very disappointing this year. Last year I bought all my kids toys on Amazon just about! This year I haven’t bought any toys,… Darn!
I’m disappointed w/Amazon’s deals this year too. I actually appreciate the 40% off deals, at least it’s substantial but the ones that are like 10% and such, or like the helicopter one where it’s marked up to be 4x more than the retail price any where else, then marked back down to retail price, that was not only disappointing, but deceiving.
I’ve notied that too. They had a men’s electric razor on a lightening deal marked from $69.99 to $39.99. I googled it and turns out Walmart sells it everyday for $34! And better yet, the razor was already completely sold out online..people thought they were getting such a bargain! The melissa and doug deal was great yesterday, I did get a couple of those toys, and obviously everyone else thought so too by how fast it sold out. So obviously the demand for good deals on amazon is there…amazon just needs to step it up!

I have found some good deals and some not so good deals, I guess it depends on what you’re looking for and when you are on! Some of the lightening deals they sell out of do not seem like deals at all to me though!

If you have an iPod Touch, iPhone, or Android phone you can download a free kindle reader app that lets your device display kindle books!!! I hadit on my iPod Touch and loved it. You can get loads of free books on Amazon and the classics are always free. Of course that all ended for me when my son dropped my iPod in the toilet 🙁
You can actually get a free Kindle reader for your PC! I have gotten TONS of free Kindle ebooks. Amazon is constantly giving away limited time promotion offer ebooks. I check it daily. 🙂
I have a Kindle! SO WORTH IT! reading on the computer/ipod/cell is bad for your eyes. Kindles are specially designed.
