For every post and vote, P&G will donate a day of clean water to a person in need. The blogger with the most votes as of August 27, 2010 will win a trip to accompany Dr. Greg Allgood of CSDW on a clean water expedition in Africa and write the exclusive story. They will also receive a $15,000 donation to a 501c3 charity that tackles water issues.
wow I would love to know that I mean Colin did get like 44127 votes I know other bloggers that have about 500 and another with a 1000. So I would think her chances have to be pretty good.

Actually, Hip2Save did not start posting about the water campaign until November (I did not know about it until then). As a result, I believe another deserving blogger qualified for the trip. However, all of you have helped to earn a stack of $50 gift cards (44 to be exact) that I will be able to give away…how awesome is that?!

Truly wanna tell ya that my first routine in the morning is to check in with ya (even before hittin up da toothbrush!) & always helping to donate clean water. I’ve only been couponin since Oct. but it’s so much fun in every aspect. Thanks for the videos also have to admit I’m a total visual learner. Have a blessed and happy holidays!

Collin, What a great thing to post the daily reminder for people to click. A great humanitarian effort at the only cost (to us) of clicking a button. I read your site (multiple times) daily and I’d love to see (as if you’ve nothing else to post) something like this featured often. One example I can think of is http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com which provides one bowl of food to a shelter per click AND is partnered with the literacy site (book) , the hunger site (1 meal i think), the breast cancer site (mammogram), child health, and rainforest (habitat protection). I takes less than 1 minute to click all 6 of these tabs but does a world of difference for those in need at no $ cost to the clicker.
I am in no way affiliated with these sites and will not get compensated in any manner for posting of this. If anyone knows of similar efforts, I’d love to know where to click. Tis the season!

Hooray for us! Thank you Collin for making it a priority to post this each day. Thank you to all of your readers for their daily clicks. I am aware how blessed I am but this kind of thing makes it even more real. I cannot imagine not having clean drinking water at my constant disposal.

Different organization, same purpose…go to https://gift.water.org/?r=water_sidebar and buy their special Camelbak water bottle (love them!) and they will donate 100% of the profits to cleaning up water in places that need it. Bonus (for me, at least!): you get to see Matt Damon’s cute face! 🙂
