I have one and it is alright. My 3 year old nephew is scared of it and won’t even hold it or look at it.
My friend got it for my son as a joke! These things are scary! If you put it down & stop playing with it, it will say ‘later’! Freaky!
I think they are adorable. Both my 1 and 3 year olds are getting one for Christmas as they always want to hold them at every store we visit. Even my husband couldn’t seem to put it down.
We have 8 of these and they are awesome!! So cute and soooo awesome if you have 3 people working them at the same time. Someone on another site posted this video. Check it out if you really want to be able to appreciate these. Soooo cute!

These are extremely cute. You press their belly and the mouth opens to sing. You can press their hand to change from the “warm up” mode where they sing musical sale, to a specific song (The red one sings Yankee Doodle Dandy) and there is also a gibberish mode were they make goofy sounds. They’re Adorable. I just bought these for my niece & nephew at Kohls. They were on sale for 8.99 and I had a 30% off discount with my Kohls Card, so I got them for about 6.60 each!

They actually had mermaid ponies in the 80’s. These are just a re-make of those. My Little Pony was my favorite cartoon when I was a kid.

I didn’t get zhu zhu pets for my daughter last year thinking she wouldn’t care (she was just turning 3), but her cousins got them and she freaked that she didn’t get one! They are very cute (my 13 year old has one) and no more wierd or annoying than any other noise making toy in my opinion. Just glad that only 1 of my 5 children have one.
i agree, my son, 3, would be freaked out by these! anything that randomly talks without being prodded at will scare him…heck, these guys scare me and they are only on a screen! but i think my 1 yr old would have a riot with these…lol…

as a mom of 4, i find this toy horrifying. It is so creepy and reminds me of something a child predator would have. I don’t know why, I have been creeped out by this and thought this since the first time I saw this toy. I do not censor most things from my kids, we listen to all kinds of music, play with all sorts of toys, watch all sorts of shows…I wouldn’t want my kids to have this toy.

I am in love with these things! I am 12 and I have 2 of them already! My Mom got me and my 8 year old sister one for Christmas as a funny little thing. She thought I wasn’t even going to care for it, but we stopped at Target 2 days before Christmas, and I told her how much I love these things! I was so happy on Christmas when I saw one popping out of my stocking! I love that they have hair ties as mouths. Me and my sister’s harmonize all the time!
