Okay I must be pretty dumb because I’m not sure how this works….we’ve had MasterCard for years and have never heard of this. I think I saw an ad for this the other day but didn’t check into it.

I haven’t either! I have an MC debit card and have never heard of MC having a rewards program?

It has been an awesome promotion! If you “link” your mastercard to that site, you can then try for deals at 1pm EST (last week, they had them on the hour each hour from 1 to 6 – it was great!) An example would be, once the deal went live and you clicked the button, the first 1000 people would get an offer – like if you spent $100 on Home Depot gift cards (by clicking from their site, just like how you need to click through ebates), you’d get $50 credit on your statement. I have been credited a total of $365! They seem to be having fewer, and smaller, deals this week.

Does it cost money to get the offers?

  5. Kim

No…no cost at all. I won a reservation for $50 off $100 at Toys R Us last week. Within three days of winning the reservation, you have to make the purchase online, then mastercard gives you a $50 credit. That simple! I love it! I bought a train table that was onsale for $110 from $150. I paid $60 for a $150 train table and it came with a set that is compatible with Thomas. It was an absolute steal! Even on craigslist people were selling used ones for $70 and I was about to cave and buy one for that!

I think it is a $29 fee per year. Check the fine print.
