You can read more about Up rewards right here on Collin’s website. Just hit the Stores link and then read about Rite Aid. Basically an Up reward is a coupon that you use on your next purchase. It prints out on the bottom of your receipt once you have made the purchase. You don’t get that discount right away but you can use it for anything in the store on your next purchase (except gift cards, medication, and a few other exceptions)

The +UP Reward program is an incentive program that allows manufacturers to provide a +UP Reward to consumers for buying a specific product and/or specific number of products. Each week, different items, which generate a +UP Reward, are advertised in the store circular (and sometimes there are mystery +Up Rewards that are not advertised in the weekly ad). An +UP Reward is a coupon or a number of coupons that print at the bottom of your receipt and can be used on your NEXT purchase. Hope this helps! I am also confused on this. Is it attached to one of those key tags they scan? Do they give you a printed coupon attached to a receipt? Do you pay for the first item and then use the up rewards on subsequent items? What can you use UP rewards on? THANKS! I’m confused!

Yes, you need a Wellness Card to receive the sale price & +UP. The +UP prints on your receipt (just like CVS ECBs) after you make the qualifying purchase. They can be used on pretty much anything, except the normal exclusions like RXs, tobacco, alcohol, GCs.
We love Zone Bars and I saved two Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupons that I printed a while back from their Facebook page. I also have the Free Cookie Dough Zone Bar coupon that they sent in the mail but haven’t found that variety on any shelf yet. Thanks for the head’s up!

Don’t know which part of the country you’re in, but I was able to redeem my free cookie dough bar coupon at Giant Eagle. They had at least two flavors to pick from!

I was at Rite Aid yesterday and snagged 2 foamie craft kits for 2.06 ea used the $5.00 off 2 VV coupon and it also printed out the $5.00 up for buying 2 Darico items!!! so a GREAT BIG money Maker if you still have the VV coupon!!!!!

Overage isn’t allowed at RA – please follow the rules. The coupon should have been adjusted.

I purchased 8 of these items and received four $2 UP rewards, so I’m assuming that you get one $2 UP for every two items purchased. It kinda fell under the category of too good to be true, but with RA, you can’t tell these days. With my 20% discount, I paid less than $1 for everything (I purchased two items priced just over $2 that I needed), so I did very well, but it wasn’t the moneymaker I had hoped for.
ya but usally if thats the case they will say like the other yellow tags have buy 2 of these items get 2 ups and at least at my store wasnt advertised that way….of course we know from the picture frame deals and others that rite aid will usally say its a missprint but….

Wow! Awesome trips to Rite Aid today!!! I took some of my UPs to purchase the Duracell batteries on the front of the store ad and had a nice surprise…there were peelies on the front of each Duracell pack for $1-at first I thought “well that’s not as good as my $1.50 q,” but upon further inspection it was a RA coupon so I was able to use them WITH my manufacturer q! So two battery packs were $17.76 – (2) $1 RA peelies – (2) $1.50 manufacturer q’s = $12.76 AND get a $5 UP back-so you $3.88/pack after UP reward. It was a nice way for me to cash in some UP rewards and get some back too!
i was also coming to let you know that only half the ups printing i bought 3 two pack of erasers (.99) and one pack of penciles.(.99) was soupoused to get back 8 up rewards and only got 4 ups so the cashier gave me $4 off my next purchase which i had a ruler for .99 cents which was soupoused to produce a $2 up but didnt then it went down hill from there she tried making it like i returned things…..that wasnt working must of taken 10 min . I was like dont worry just put it all in my bag and i will just walk out now hahaha but she still messed with the register trying to get something to work. finnally she scaned something off my previous receipt and gave my $2 in cash and had me sign a return slip….which i thank her for trying so hard but i worry that its going to look like a black mark or something against me because they have been making me sign a return slip more frequently when ups arnt producing when if fact i have no intention of returning anything….its frustrating because i dont want to get them in trouble or myself in trouble i just want to do the deals that are advertised and have them work LOL

I feel that all the time after RiteAid starts Up reward. but.. hey.. lucky you, it only took you 10 min.. for me.. stood in front of register for “them”(a group of cashiers) to solve MY PROBLEM more than 20 min=BAD FEELING! it was not even my fault.. as you said.. we just want to get the deals that RiteAid’s Ad offer..

ya thanks it helps to know im not alone. LOL i dont understand why some cashiers hate some of us so much? like they think were stealing or something when we are just trying to snag an awsome deal. I would think they would want to too? does anyone know if RA cashiers are allowed to have the wellness card and reicive ups and stuff?
I found all of these things and made huge profit! I got some craft sticks, a couple of craft packs, some sticker books, the pencils and even four “design a mug” crafts. My daughter is going to be so excited.

Rite Aid customer support is awesome! I ran into the same issue today – bought 23 items (all different), and all with signs stating $2 UP for purchasing. I only received 11 UP rewards though. I called customer support about it, and they said they’ll send me a rebate card in the mail for my missing $24. I’ve never called before, but that’s what I call great customer service!

Don’t expect this deal to last much longer. They will probably pull it if people are calling to insist that they get the ups for every single one if they really meant it to be on 2 and the signs were just wrong.

I purchased 2 pencils and one container of paper clips- all were advertised $2 UP and did not say you had to purchase two. I got home and realized that only one of my UPs printed. I must have had to purchase two of the paper clips as well. I did want to warn you though if you are using a welnness card discount, it takes that off before it gives the UPS. I was purchasing a Loreal product for $15.25 and was supposed to get a $5 UP for spending $15. It didn’t print and the cashier realized it was because I had a 10% off my purchase from my wellness card and that made my product under $15 and I no longer qualified for the UP. Hope that makes sense! I guess just be careful if you are using a % off while also going for UPs based on spending a certain amount.
I read that you have to buy 2 for the $2 ups to print and the shelves are marked wrong.
I am lucky my $20.00 Nivea deal worked yesterday beacuse that’s when my 10% kicked in, my newspapers rang up at $1.80 on the same recipte. I then purchased 2 Gillette Pro Glide Razors and they rang up at $9.89 each not $9.97 sale price.

Thanks for all the posts. I was especially thankful to buy cheap pantyliners and poise pads at Target but that’s beside the point I have for you about Rite Aid.
I went today and bought rulers, erasers, binder clips, paper clips and push pins. They all had a buy one get a $2 UPR- no limit stated. I asked the shift supervisor and she said that I would get a UPR for each one. The short story is, I didn’t. The manager made it right but I wanted everyone to know that it won’t work. For each one that you buy it will print a UPR. So, proceed with caution. Maybe do many serparate orders. I looked at the tag for the rulers it was good until Jan 11.
My RA store manager looked at the tags for me too since I was missing 5 $2 UP rewards, she gave me $10 back in cash.
I was wondering which stickers/sticker books are people referring to for this deal?

In Memphis, TN you have to buy 2 pencils or rulers to get the 2 UPS with my 10% discount it only made me 20 cents. Still free, but not as amazing as I thought it would be.

So I went in for asec b4 and bought the pencils. I bought 4 and received 2 $2 ups. I think it only gives $2 for every 2 you buy. But there could’ve just been a problem at my cvs. Maybe they limit how many ups will print in 1 transaction?? Not sure, so made for free pencils insteadof money makers- which is still not bad but not great either.
The $2+UP is only printing when you purchase two. I went in today and bought two eraser packs ($0.99 ea.), two 10 count pencil packs ($0.99 ea.), two wooden rulers ($0.99 ea.), and ONE folder ($0.99 ea) (which also had the $2+UP advertisement when you buy ONE.) I only received (3) $2+UP rewards. I’m assuming you have to purchase two of each item to get the $2+UP.

Is this just a regional sale, because I didn’t see anything about any of these items producing + UP Rewards in the Kentucky paper, and when I went to the store earlier none of these items had a + UP Rewards yellow sticker under them.
none of the items were advertised in my Northern CA store either but I bought two of the pens (needed em anyway) and got the $4 UP Reward. So, if its something you want, buy them. If no UP prints, return them.
I’m in Lex and the UPs printed for the pencils. However, it is buy 2 packs get $2 UP, a very small $ maker if you have the 10% or 20% discount. I couldn’t find the craft sticks or plastic envelopes though.
I’m in Bowling Green, KY, and the pencils and things weren’t marked at my store. There were some other office supplies, like labels and push pins, marked to get $2 in UPs. I bought 2 sets of push pins for 1.99 each, but only 1 $2 UP printed.

Zone bars at my rite aid were clearanced 50% off so I bought 4 at $0.74 each and used 4 $1 off cpns. Will submit for $2 SCR. 😀 Should be a $3.04 MM. Will give to bf to try but no biggy if he doesn’t like them. I couldn’t find any of the pencils/crafts and there were no tags at my RA.

I just received my Holiday Savings $20 Gift Coupon. Just made the required total with $103. Has anyone received theirs? Have you used it? Will it work with items that you receive +UPs with?
I received my gift coupon by email. The total had to be over $20. You cannot divide it up. And, you do receive UPS with your purchase.
I recieved my Gift Coupon and it worked fine with things that have UP rewards on it. Its just like cash basically. You shouldnt have any problems
I bought the pencils in NH no up reward but for 79 cents no big deal worth a shot and we can always use things to write with at my house.
I went to one RA in my town and they didnt have the signage for these deals so I went to check out figuring it would work and I used $18 in UP rewards thinking I was gonna get it back. NONE printed OUT! And I couldnt get my UP rewards back since they had been used! I was like what…so the manager said he would only give me $12 back in cash to replace the UP’s…I went to the other RA in my town used the cash I got back and did these deals and they had signage and got my up rewards back…part of them anyway! Be careful so stores may not being doing this deal!

Just called Rite Aid and asked for my register rewards that I didn’t receive yesterday when I purchased the pencils and erasers. They told me it was suppose to be $2.00 RR for 2 items and would NOT refund me the difference. The sign on each one said $2.00 RR per item. The rep was very rude and said oh well we made a mistake and the managers are in a meeting. That is the worst customer service I have ever had with a company!
I get really frustrated with my Rite Aid (Milton, WV) because they always run out of the really good sale items really quickly, and never restock for the remainder of the sale. They don’t put sale signs up very good either. I’ve bought the wrong item (size or type) several times. You have to shop with the sale ad and be careful. The manager seems really “picky”, like you’re trying to cheat, but customer service on-line is really great. I was leary of the ‘UP’ program, but it didn’t take me long to figure out. I’ve never done the CVS shopping thing because it confuses me. But, I don’t have a CVS convenient to me, so it works out.
Some people have already said this, but according to iheartriteaid.com the signs are incorrect in most/all Rite Aid stores and the stationary deals are actually $2 +Up for each two items purchased. So, you can still get many of the items for free, but not a money maker (unless you have a 10% or 20% discount).
Not sure if this has been posted yet – but the Foamies are included in the buy 2 get a $5 +Up reward! I used the vv coupon (December?) for $5 off 2. I bought the small sets that were $2.99 each, so they were a $4 money maker by the time I got the +Up reward! Awesome deal!

I like to ask a question. Rite Aid is going to have a sale on bayer contour usb for 9.99 down from 64.00. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I saw that vv had a coupon for 40.00 off in nov. so I looked to see if there was a coupon from the company for it and found a pdf coupon on their website for 20.00 off. I have this coupon. What I want to know is did anyone else see this? Now they have a coupon for only 5.00 off.
