FREE Hearing Aid Batteries…
Head on over here and click on the “Free batteries” offer on the lower right hand side (looks like the picture above) to score a FREE 4-pack of batteries for hearing aids. This is a great item to donate if you’re not in need of hearing aid batteries.
(Thanks, The Dealyo!)
Thanks Collin! I am adding these to a gag gift that I am giving my sister for her 40th birthday. I am going to put all my anti aging samples in a clear glass jar with a black bow and a poem about her new status in life on it. I get to torment her as I am a whole year younger! LOL!
oh cute idea! my mom just turned 50 and we’re having a surprise party for her later in the month! 🙂
I thought I would be a fun addition to her gift…..and just to clarify, they will be passed on to one of several people that we know who can use them after her party.
If you need somewhere to donate them, i work at a place where 95% of the 150+employees that work there are deaf or hard of hearing. We support people with developmental disabilities and mental retardation who are deaf or hard of hearing. We could put lots of these batteries to great use!!
Hi there,
I see that this is an older post so I’m not sure if you still have a need for new hearing aid batteries. I have several new packages but no longer have the hearing aids that they fit. If you can use them, please email me with your name and address and I’ll pop them in the mail.
Thanks so much, Patricia
Thanks Collin! My hubby wears hearing aids and let me tell you the batteries are not cheap. Thanks a ton you have saved me so much last year I still can’t believe it!
What?
LOL!
SHE SAID “FREE HEARING AID BATTERIES”! 🙂
Thanks!! I know a couple of people that can use these.
Hey Collin!
Thanks for posting this!
If by chance, anyone would like to donate their batteries to me (my students really!), that would be awesome! I’m a teacher of the deaf in a highly urban area, where all of my students recieve free lunch, and do not have money for necessities like batters.
Size 13 and 675 are the most popular in these parts…also, they use Phonak hearing aids.
Please contact me if anyone would like to help my students out!
I would have definitely been willing! However, I just requested some that are size 10. I was going to use them as a gag gift but if you can use size 10 ill donate them!
I would love to donate…what size, style and brand do you need? you can send me an email with the mailing info too…meg.pohlman@hotmail.com. Between all my family members that could get some I should be able to get quite a few for you!
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS FREEBIE AS A GAG GIFT!
There are people who truly need these batteries. Hearing Aid batteries do not last a long time and people could really use them.
I know my mom could really use them but I can’t get ahold of her so I do not want to get the wrong size and have them go to waste.
Thanks.
Erin, would you please post your school’s mailing address. THANKS
Suzy, just a note about that….my sister who works for a non profit as did I for many years will be sure to donate these batteries after she receives them. We happen to know several people who could use them. I just get to put them to use twice that way. I assure you that nothing goes to waste around our house. Have a beautiful day!
Wow, thanks to ALL for the responses!!
My kids use size 675 and size 13 primarily.
If it’s ok with Collin (I didn’t read all the posting rules, so PLEASE if I’m breaking them, let me know!), my email is eebell@cps.edu . You can contact me and I will send you the school’s mailing address with it addressed to me.
Thanks so much.
As far as to entering the brand, it’s not a big deal (it’s the size of the battery that counts), but most of them use Phonak.
It’s completely fine with me! Thanks to all of you for being so generous! 🙂
Collin, seriously, I’m in tears. (I’m so darn emotional!)
I love you, your site AND your readers.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!
I just requested 1 for each of the 4 of us living here. 2 of each size 13 and 675. Please email me with your shipping info. and I will send them out as soon as they arrive! megslye 12 at yahoo .com
I will will also order some batteries for your students. Does it matter what style I choose?
Not really, it’s the size that counts 😉
I ordered 4. I am so happy to donate them!!! I will email you for your mailing address.
Thank you! My grandma and my father both wear hearing aids and live on a fixed income – they like many others can REALLY profit from this offer!
Thank you so much for this. I know of a few wonderful people that can use this!!!
I would love to donate them. What size, brand and style do you need?
If you would like to donate them to my agency, we could use them for the clients! my email is chechelrachel@yahoo.com I can give you our address information
I too would donate but I got a 10 .. if anyone needs these let me know otherwise I was going to drop off at elder facility…. Thanks Collin for that little push to remember others not just what benefits yourself !
Have I told you all lately that you are AWESOME! 😀
Thanks, my dad has hearing aids and I noticed at Christmas his batteries were low ;). I’m sending some to him.
My husband wears hearing aides size 13 so if anyone would like to donate email me at merrymary1978@gmail.com. Thanks 🙂
Thanks for posting this. There are many people with limited incomes that can really use free hearing aid batteries.
my husband was injured in combat and now has to wear hearing aides, they can get pricey because they do not last long so i am so happy for this freebie, thanks so much!! 🙂
What size does your husband wear?
size 10, any brand
My 2 year old little girl wears these… thank you, thank you, thank you!
For those who see this as a “cute” gag gift, please take a moment to reconsider what you find so humorous. Yes, hearing loss is a problem commonly associated with aging, so is Alzheimer’s Disease, many forms of cancer, and countless other ailments. Would you so easily joke about those conditions? Regardless of what you plan on doing with the batteries after making a joke of them, it is a cruel joke to begin with.
Most importantly to me, hearing loss is not only found in the elderly. I have a toddler who was born with a hearing loss and has worn hearing aids since the age of six months. It breaks my heart when I hear people poking fun at hearing loss. I wish she didn’t have to grow up in a society where she will have to hear so many people who think they are funny when they joke about deafness and hearing loss. For example, saying “Are you deaf?” when someone doesn’t hear you. Or in a comment on this post – typing in all CAPS to imply you are talking loudly.
At least once a week or so, I overhear jokes in public that poke fun at hearing loss. I just didn’t think I’d see them on a blog that seems to have such a large group of readers who are moms. Hopefully you’ll rethink your sense of humor on this subject make the world just a little more sensitive for my daughter and many other children who have a hearing loss.
Thank you Kim, well said.
I requested some for my sister who is a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist in Oregon. I know she will know students who can use these. Thanks!
Thanks so much. My 1-year old son has a hearing aid, and these batteries can get expensive.
Thanks Collin! My mama and I both signed up for batteries for my “in just a few days” 96 year old sweet grandma!!!!!!!!!! Hoping my sis gets her some too! 🙂
Thank you! I have a 3 year old little boy that really needs these!
Awesome! I am a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing and it’s always helpful for me to carry extra batteries with me in case my students need them. Thanks for posting!
Thank you for Collin..
I would love to donate them but my stepdaughter is wearing hearing aides too so this will be a great help in terms of budget especially with 5 kids at home because hearing aide batteries are expensive..I am so glad i found this website..
Thank you so much. I wear an aid and free batteries is always a good thing. I was surprised to see a post to get free ones.
I would love to request some for a person in need but the link wont pull up. Anyone else having trouble?
Got one for each of us in the house to donate. Thanks for posting this. 🙂
