Just like I said in the Walgreens post earlier today, there are clearance bargains everywhere! So with that being said, I’ve heard word from more than a handful of you that Target has started marking down their toys 75%! Plus, I’ve gotten additional emails regarding lots of other Target clearance finds from Christmas to bed and bath items… and more! This is definitely the time to start shopping for Christmas again… buy it now and stash it away! Never pay retail for presents again! 😀

Check out the emails I’ve received from a few readers:

I noticed my local target marked many toys to 75% today, the hang tags still read 30% but tags were accurate. I paid under $95 for toys that the original retail was over $405. Just a heads up! Two of my “big” scores were the U-Command Buzz Lightyear for $24.98 down from $99.99 and a 120 wooden train set for $11.74 down from $44.99.

Yesterday I went to Target in Mansfield, OH and all the Christmas items still left were 90% off! If that wasn’t good enough, I bought 10 stockings, each originally $4.99 now .49! Well they were all pushed to the side and I didn’t buy them for the actual stocking, I bought them for the 20 FREE 4X6 prints coupon @ Target inside the stocking good through March. I basically got 10 stockings and 200 prints for $5!! The stockings were for pets but I’m going to see if I can turn them into gift stockings for Christmas this year! Happy shopping 🙂

I was at Target tonight and in the beauty section they had Olay and Dove gift packs marked down to $4.48. I used a $2 off of Olay body wash coupon and got one for $2.48. It included a full-size body wash, a full-size lotion, a bar of soap, and 2 razors. They also had Axe gift sets for $6.48, and Burt’s Bees sets for $9.99 and $12.99.

They are slowly starting to mark down the toys at Target now! I picked up this Circo 120 piece wood train set with drawbridge, originally priced at $42.99, for only $10.74! It was marked $30, but I price checked it and couldn’t believe my eyes!

I found the Medela Freestyle Hands-Free Breast Pump for only $265 at Target. It’s regular price is $379 and it is like the Cadillac of Breast Pumps. I also saw some Carter long sleeve 3 pack onesies for just $3. A lot of other baby stuff on some pretty steep clearance.

Today I went to Target to find toys marked down from 30% off to 50% off. While I was checking out the selection, a fellow shopper told me the Target in her neighborhood was down to 75% off! So we immediately headed over!!! I was able to score a 12 piece Littlest Pet Shop for $7, a building Thomas toy for $5, the Thomas Round-about for $10, Strawberry Shortcake and Polly Pocket sets for $7.50, and tons of Toy Story deals, including a game marked down to $5 with a $5 off peelie on it!!! I know everyone’s Targets will be on different schedules, but the 75% off clearance has started!!!!

Target has started to clearance their toys – a lot is even 75% off already!! I only bought 75% off toys and came back with tons. Retail Value of toys in picture: 436.25. Paid: 82.45!

(Thanks, Lisa, Michelle, Marie, Libby, Show Me How You Do That, Beth, Audrie, Sarah, and all you other readers who took the time to email!)

Now it’s YOUR turn… what clearance treasures have you scored at Target?! Let us know!

I’m in VA and just got back from Target. The Christmas was 90% off but it pretty much it looked like someone had gone down the aisle with a sledgehammer, lots broken and nothing much worthwhile. In contrast, the toy clearance was very nice and neatly organized with several aisles all grouped together plus some endcaps, however it was predominantly only 30% off with just a few higher discounts sprinkled in. I got some Lego Power Miners and Atlantis sets that were 30-50% off because with two boys any discount on Legos is good, but otherwise there was nothing discounted enough to warrant stockpiling….

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

anyone here from mayfield heights, ohio area? do they know if that target in that area the toys are marked down? thanks.

  3. Christy

Any FISHERS, IN Target shoppers out there??? Curious how cheap their toy clearance is right now? Although it seems like their clearance is never as good as what others write about on here. I still love shopping there though. 🙂

  4. Sdog

Any info for Tinley Park, IL or Matteson, IL?

  5. Kristy

I have not checked yet, but usually here in central new york for the past few years most toys don’t go 75% until about last week in January. I live 45 mins from my nearest target. Thank goodness I’m a stay at home mom so I can stalk the stores lol. I almost live in target during January and July :o) lol. I love love loveee targets toy clearance! Also check shoes, baby, kids clothes for 75% off too…I always find these too when toys go!

    • Christy

Oh, wow! 45 minutes is a long haul, but you’re right, Target is sooooooo worth it! 🙂 I love everything about that store from clothes to the kids, clothes for me, cute decorative items for the house, fun toys, even love their Archer Farms brand of foods!! We live much closer, but I don’t often load up the kids to drive over. Although now you’ve got me in the mood! 🙂 Happy Target shopping!

    • Joy

      Kristy,
The Clay store is only 30-50% off. Was just there this a.m. Kind of happy it isn’t 75% off yet. Maybe by the time it is 75% off we will have $$$.

  6. Nicole

Oh that buzz light year is what my son wanted lol.. i gotta go check my target in Houston texas… hopefully i can find one for that cheep because i refuse to pay 99 bucks for it lol…

    • lilbrett

I would love to score the Buzz Light Year too, my 4 & 2 year old girls just love Toy Story. I went this morning to my Target and it was marked down to 49.99, that’s not good enough for me. I am hoping I can get it at 75% off, which would be around 25.00. I’ll keep checking for it! Good luck!

      • Nicole

I tried 2 targets yesterday, and i found nothing! im extreamly dissapointed! i would have loved to scored something good! BOOO

  7. laureen

i live in the broward county area (margate/coral springs) I have about two targets around me and i’ve been dying to check them out. Unfortunately i’ve been without a car for the past week, and now i finally have it back. I’m gonna try to go after i’m done babysitting my siblings and hit up the target closer to my house.

    • Alma

Hey I am in broward to nice to meet fellow saver in my area

      • Cheryl

Hello 😉 I’m in delray beach! I went to Target in Boynton Beach on Friday and the clearance was only 30% off. I had asked a really nice employee, and he told me in about 4 days it will be 70%, he said some things will even go to 90%. He told me to early in the morning before the doors are even open to ask! (Because at night they do all the markdowns etc.)

Have either of you found any Old Navy’s with the additional percent off?

      • Erica

I’m in Coconut Creek, stopped by the target on 411 and Wiles today….. still at 30% off! I even asked and was told they still didn’t know when it would go higher…. I would love to get some stuff discounted, my daughter’s bday is next month. I may take another trip over Wednesday or Thursday just to see again.

        • Cheryl

Erica what happened at your store? Did you go today? I went to 2 stores in Boynton Beach, everything picked over (already 75%). The employees I called this morning lied and told me only 30. Please let me know about the Coconut Creek store, hopefully it’s not on sale yet. I really would hate to miss these toy deals.

  8. Ellen

I went yesterday and got little pet shop sets in a hat box. The retail was around $24 and I got them for $7 each. I stocked up for future birthday parties.

  9. neely

I was running through Target and saw the 90% off Christmas section. I bought Lego Minifigure Man Flashlight Key chain for .69 and had been $6.99. I bought all that was left 58! I saved $340.40!!! Best deal ever!!

  10. Courtney

I am so pumped! Long story, but here goes: I read that Target had gone to 75% off here, so I called my local Target to ask if they had taken their store clearance toys to 75% off. I was told by customer service that my store had moved their clearance toys to 50 and 75% off.

Super excited, I packed up my 3 year old, my 2 year old, and my 6 month old and headed out for my 30 minute drive to my closest Target. When I arrived however, I was dismayed to see that all the toys I could see were only marked to 50% off. I found someone to help me, and he in turn found another associate to help me, and to make a long story short, he told me that to compensate me for the wrong information given me by guest services and the fact that I piled up my three small kids and drive 30 minutes, he would honor the 75% off on the clearance toys that I wanted to purchase.

Whoo-hoo! Did I ever go shopping! By the time I was done, I didn’t even have room in my cart for my kids! I got:
A Disney princess scooter that was $45 for $11.25
Lego Prince of Persia was $80 for $20
Lego World Racers was $40 for $10
Tag Reader, Toy Story 3 Special Edition was $45 for $11.25
Light up Tinkerbell Fairy Doll was $20 for $5
Strawberry Shortcake Flower Shower was $17 for $4.25
Thomas the Tank Wooden Set~Rock and Roll Quarry was $40 for $10
Circo Talking Baby was $15 for $3.75

and a handful of other things. . . I am so pumped! I’ve got my nephews and nieces’ birthdays taken care of for the year, as well as a great start on my own four kids’ birthdays.
PLUS, WITH MY TARGET CARD, I SAVED AN ADDITIONAL 5% OFF MY PURCHASE!
Can you feel my excitement? 🙂
    Total value: $484 pretax
Total out of pocket: $115 pretax

    • Kristy

Wow what great customer service! I would be in heaven, I definitely feel your excitement!

    • lisette

wow great customer service! If they see me at my local target they start acting suspicious no matter what..and I have never done anything wrong always play fair…I once was told they could give the $50 gc from buying wii at walmart make me drive on a winter storm for nothing they didnt keep their word!

      • laura

That would NEVER happen at my store.

  11. Barbie

Wow…some of you are lucky! Here in the California Bay Area, there is only one end cap of Christmas even left to pick from and the toys are still at 30%.

    • Cheryl

That’s because you live in a populated area. I do as well..and my store is only 30% and not that much left either.

  12. sramze

Hmmmm…..I was just at my local Target (Altamonte Springs, Fl) yesterday & toys were only at 30% off. However they were moving all the toys around again, so maybe they have dropped the price down today. I would be surprised though b/c it seems this Target is slow to put things down in price & then when they do the stuff gets wiped out super fast. Perhaps I’ll call & see what they tell me.

  13. robyn

i was super pumped and excited that my target had stuff 75% but also that they had the stuff i went looking for!! i got the buzzlight year and the train set. i also got the dog stockings with the free 20 prints in them. that was too good to be true. you have to purchase 20 to get 20 free. i can get better deals through snapfish, etc. so those will be going back! but other than that i made out pretty good. thanks for the heads up from all of the readers!!

  14. Melanie

I got the train set but all of the stockings with the 20 free print coupons were missing the coupons : ( I also found a great deal on limited edition Pepperidge Farm goldfish. They were on the shelf with all of the other crackers but rang up .21 (90% off)!!!! They are called cocoa adventures and are chocolate graham fish with little marshmallows – my kids LOVED them! Also found the Lady Antebellum Christmas album for .69 – 90% off!!!!

  15. marissa

Just got back from Target in Green Bay, WI and here’s what I got:
ADORABLE Circo brown and purple toddler shoes with sparkles and beads sewn on regular $14.99 marked down to $7.48

Hanes toddler sweatshirt and sweatpants (for next year) regular $3.99 each, marked down to $1.98 each

Hat and mittens set for next year, regular $9.99, marked down to $3.98

Thermal toddler pajamas regular $6.99 marked down to $3.48

Two pet Christmas stocking with the 20 free prints inside that was mentioned above: $0.49 each (note, the coupon is Buy 20, Get 20, so a little misleading, but still a good deal)

    A wreath hanger for $0.19

A candy making kit for $0.49

A cookie baking set for $0.49

    A Christmas countdown advent/garland thing for $0.99

They toys were in the process of being marked down when I got there. Some already had double markdown stickers and others didn’t. My daughter was cranky by then, and there were still TONS of toys left, so I decided to come back later to check out the deals there.

    • Jessica

      I am so upset! I bought 38 stocking today for $0.49 each…
So glad I saw your comment… I think I will return most of them!

  16. Debbie

Anyone in GA know of any 75% clearance on toys??? If not, I will be checking later 🙂

    • Karrie

I don’t know where you are in GA Debbie but the Macon Store only has 30% off and the Warner Robins store has 30,50 and a little 75% off I did scan some of the 30% and 50% and that’s what they still were

    • Lisa

I’m in Rosewell, GA and just went to Target…nothing was 75% off yet…I still got a bunch of stuff at 50% off. There isn’t a whole lot there so I’m okay with what I got, I have a feeling there will be even less after the weekend and since I’m a SAHM I refuse to shop on the weekends 🙂

  17. Nicole B.

Not sure what percentage the toys are off but Casselberry, FL Target has a TON of toys on clearance. There was a Fisher Price aisle marked down from $49.99 to $24.98, Thomas trains, LEGO sets, etc…

  18. Carrie

    Medford and Setauket, NY – 30% – 50% & 30% off, respectively.

I did however, find a Imaginext Sea Serpent playset for 75% off and the Laugh & Learn Cookie Jar (in pink) for $4.49. They were the only ones on the shelf and my guess is that they were a fluke.

If you have a Leapster, the Ni Hao Kai Lan game was $6.62, marked down from $24.99 in Medford, NY.

I *MAY* try Riverhead, NY tomorrow.

  19. Andrea

Wen tthis morning to Springfield mo still 50% blah 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also just got back from springfield, Mo target and still 30-50% (w/ 30%off signs)….saw a few toys that I would love to get for fast approaching birthdays!!! Hope that I can catch these on the 90%…..there is only 1 target in our town and if you don’t get to the store the morning OF the markdowns….forget it! Sometimes its so frustrating when people buy carts & carts full of clearance bargains when people like me only want a couple of the deals! Especially when there’s only 1 store in town! Sorry for the rant….just know I’m probably not going to be getting in on the 90% off toys b/c I refuse to spend my weekend casing target….waiting to be the first for the markdown!!! Hope LOTS Of people get toys…..not just 1 or 2 hoarders! ha!

      • laura

toys don’t go 90% off. The lowest they will go is 75% off. Sorry!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          Just a typo—meant 75:)

        • Crystal

Toys do sometimes go to 90% off.

  20. Jessica

I just called the 3 Targets in West Des Moines/Urbandale IA and they said toys were still 30-50% off. So if there are any readers out there that frequent these stores let’s keep each other up to date on the clearance. I’m still going to check one out tonight just to be sure.

    • Kendra

I was just at Target in Urbandale today and the WDM store by Valley West tonight. Most toys were only 30-50% off. However, I got a Zippity (by Leap Frog) reg. $80 and got it for $20 (I wasn’t going to but I couldn’t resist!). Both stores had scooters, play huts, and many of the other toys already mentioned.

  21. Rosa

    My target is still at 30-50% off! :{

  22. AmandaXoX

Las Vegas, NV Target has 2 entire aisles of toy clearance + a bunch of endcaps, but only 30-50% off. Great stuff, but I’m waiting until 75% off. Clearance throughout the store in all depts. too!

    • Christine

Is it just me, or does the west seem to be slower than the east (at marking things down at target). Maybe I’m wrong. I obviously haven’t been to haven’t been to many targets.

  23. Lisa

I was at Target (Waterford, CT) and took major advantage of the 75% off toy sale. My friend needed a breast pump and was able to score the Medela hands free double pump which originally sells for $379 on clearance for $94.98!!!! HOLY COW!!!! We felt like she stole the pump for that price!! My Target also had Valentines day on clearance already and it was 30% off. They also had some kids clothes 75% off!!!! I was also able to score free Palmolive, Colgate and batteries by using my coupons!!!

    • Kayla H.

Wow! What a score! I didn’t look at those at my target. I’m going to have to check tomorrow. That is such an awesome deal!!

  24. Ellie

Here in Midlothian, VA two out of the three Targets I checked had just about nothing left once the toys hit 30%. There were a few Target brand toys left that were 50%. I was really disappointed because I got a ton in August for 75%. Also FYI..in August I bought the Prince of Persia legos for 75%, all five different sets. I gave them to my son for Christmas and we were so disappointed. I highly do not recommend buying them unless they are 75% because there are no legos in the sets. The “big” set took him (9 years old) less than 5 minutes to put together. I am very tempted to write Lego because the quantity does not justify the price. The only thing I can think is that they charged so much for so little because of the movie name. Still the $20 Star Wars ship is far more legos and more challenging than the $80 Prince of Persia. Just wanted to let everyone know that at 75% still not a “HIP” buy.

  25. Carie

My store (West Mifflin, PA) had 1 toy 75% off and there was an endcap filled with them, multiple aisles of 50% and some 30% scattered. There wasn’t any Christmas clearance left. I’m going to check out some other Targets in my area tomorrow.

  26. Sarah

I just got home from Target in Cincinnati. Most items were 30-50% off, but I found a few marked 75% off. Biggest deal was the LeapFrog zippity, orig. $80, down to $20. Also saw the Buzz shooter game, paperoni sets and smaller items at 75% off.

  27. Ginger

Well…I went tonight to my Target and the toys were at 50% off. It was very neatly organized and even though I was wishing it was 75% off…I decided to get some things b/c I feel like a $10 nice today is better for my budget than throwing a $20 bill in a card as a birthday present for one of my childrens friends.

So, this is what I bought:

    (2) Hello Kitty Alarm Clock/Radio $10.00
    (4) Bakugan Sets $5.64
    (2) Paperoni Sets $3.64
    (2) Paperoni Refills $3.64
    (2) My Little Pony Sets $4.98
Big Furreal Pet (for my daughter for her birthday next month) $14.98

11 gifts (counting the paperoni set and refill as 1 gift… for just over $85.00

    I think I did pretty well…=o)

    • Kayla H.

I saw that one! Super cute. It was marked at $49.95 at my store. I’m hoping it comes down. It would be an awesome gift to get my daughter and one of my friends little girls for her birthday this year. Guess I’ll just have to keep checking. We have two local targets. I’m going to check out the other one tomorrow. It usually puts things on sale quicker.

  28. JessicaB

My target was very disappointing! Everything was still 30% off. I did get 3 pixos stations reg $30 for $6.98 and some accessories, but all the trains, toy story, super hero, trains, etc were still pretty high. Ill just have to go back 🙂

  29. Ann

checked out the target in lacey, wa. weird…toys other readers got for 75% at their store was only 30% at my store and everything else was 50%. had lots to choose from though. 4 rows and about 4 or 5 endcaps full! can’t wait till 75%!

  30. Kayla H.

Awesome saves ladies! I went to my local target today and the toys were still 30% off on most and 50% on a few others. Bummer! But, they have started putting out their bulk items that they do at the beginning of the year. They had the big softsoap refills buy one, get one! If you go through handsoap like I do, that is an awesome deal!

  31. Brittany

Northwest Ohio Targets are only marking toys down to 50%. I did snag a great deal on a baby alive marked down to 12.44 and I still had the 5.00 off coupon from last month so it was a great deal at 7.44 (originally 25). My daughter really wants the Tangled tower/table and chairs, hoping I can get that for 75% off for her Birthday in April! I will keep watching!!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Olivia House for $7.48!!! I love the Target clearance!

    • Christy

The cute little Olivia house was over $14 at ours …. they had quite a few of them, but I wanted to get it cheaper. It had already been marked down twice, so I’m guessing a third mark down is on the way.

  33. Christy

The Fishers, IN Target has mostly 30%, 50% and a little 75%. Here is a breakdown of what I purchased:

Circo Home Sweet Home Play Set $10 (reg $20.00) – 50%
    Circo Talking Baby Set $7.50 (reg $15) – 50%
    Spiderman Tabletop Pinball $13.98 (reg $19.99) – 30%
    Circo Mini Play Kitchen $7.58 (reg $15.19) – 50%
    Moxie Teenz Doll $11.00 (reg $22) – 50%
Circo Farm Cube Wooden Puzzles $2.48 (reg $9.99) – 75%
Wild West Gun Slinger Quick Draw Set $9.98 (reg $19.99) – 50%
Playskool Wheel Pals Squishy Critter Lion $7.48 (reg $14.99) – 50%
    Circo Bob & Wobble Lion $5.24 (reg $10.49) – 50%
CIrco Unit Blocks on Wheels $5.48 (reg $10.99) – 50%

We have lots of nieces & nephews and after tonight, I have purchased their Birthday gifts AND Christmas for this year! I only snagged 2 items for my own kids (the Home Sweet Home Dollhouse Play set and Wild West Gun Slinger Quick Draw). I would have liked to have gotten more items at 75% off, but our Target store doesn’t retain clearance for long and with the weekend approaching, I knew there wouldn’t be much left. I’m pretty happy w/50% though. And my favorite finds were actually the Circo items …. the Unit Blocks on Wheels and Farm Cube Wooden Puzzles are both REALLY nice!!! The puzzle actually creates several different pictures … very cool and solid well constructed puzzle for less than $2.50 (think Melissa & Doug, but WAY better)!

Christmas items were 90% off. I only purchased 2 ornaments, but several decorative items such as paper trees, paper snowmen, hanging snowflakes, etc. Fun things for the kids next Christmas.

I did call our Super Target before heading out. I didn’t want to drag my two toddlers out into the wintery snow unless I knew it was worthwhile. I just asked to speak directly w/the toy department and the employee I spoke to was very nice. Gave me accurate info that toys were 30%, 50% and some 75%. Also told me how many aisles of clearance they had. So I definitely recommend calling first! 🙂 Hope this helps someone. Happy shopping!

  34. Melissa

Toys weren still only 30-50 in SA, TX. I did find some scotch tape though that were Christm,as, so they were only 30 cents for a 3 pack. Even better though, they had coupons attached, one of which was $1 off a scotch gift wrap cutter. They had some of these with Christmas section and they were also only 30 cents. Best of all, the register took off the entire $1 coupon, giving overage of 70 cents each! I got several just for the overage. Make sure to check the office supply dept for these too, but scan first. They are packaged exactly the same as holiday ones, but different upc.

  35. Trisha

Thank you all for your posts! I missed the January clearance deals at Target last year and I am so glad I got in on it this time. Here are a few of my finds at the Appleton, WI store last night. They had mostly 30%, some 50% sprinkled in: Circo train table $39.98, 120 piece train $21.48, Toy Story shooter $5.56 after $5 off mfr coupon attached, Toy Story Tag reader $22.48. Headed to the Green Bay, WI store and found the Zippity for $19.98 (reg $80), 2 Tag books $6.98 ea, McDonalds cash register $7.50, Wildwest gun $2.48, Panda robot $1.98. Picked up some holiday 90% off items at both stores, checked on the clearance dyson – none in Appleton, one display model in GB @$299 but no instructions and looked like it was missing some tools. They would sell it as is less a 10% discount, but I passed on it. Looking forward to the next big toy clearance, last few years it was in July.

    • sheri

What Greenbay store did you go to the one by the mall or the one of the gv exit? Were there alot of 70% toys in Greenbay? I don’t want to drive 40 mins unless there are some great deals!

      • Trisha

I went to the one on Cormier in Ashwaubenon, near the mall. Like other posters, you can always call 1st and see what the discount is up to, you just never know. I’ve gone on hunts like this only to find everything picked over and then come back the next day and find more stuff on the shelves. If you have other stuff to shop for, it might be worth the trip. I found lots of deals in different departments too. Good luck!

  36. LEAH BERGER

    I found a Step 2 shopping card for $7.48 (originally $30)!!!

    • Shannon

= So Jealous!! My daughter wants and needs one so bad. They don’t have them on clearance at our store in upsate NY.

  37. sona

Anyone in Charlotte,NC knows about 75% off ???/

  38. tracy

What about Indianapolis? Any Luck….Do you think this Thursday will be the day?

  39. LeslieK

Went to Target in Ahwatukee, Arizona today.. Lots of Clearance Toys-2 full aisles and some endcaps, but only marked down to 30% and they were not able to tell me if they were going to be marked down anymore!

  40. sheri

Target in Sheboygan WI just clearanced their stuff at 75%off. The worker was in the process and was really nice with scanning the items I wanted and marking them down. Got a ton of awesome deals!!

The Target in Erie, PA only just marked their toys 75% off. There were women leaving the store with two carts each, filled with toys, so I checked out the toy aisles. I got a Step 2 Little Helpers Grocery Cart for $7.49, originally $29.99! Most of the other toys were gone but I was happy with my steal, since we’ve been talking about getting one of these for our two kids.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this! I raced over to my local Target after reading the post and scored the LAST train track set for $10.74. I had a VERY HAPPY 3.5 year old son that night. He didn’t get it for Christmas because I just couldn’t see spending $45 on a track set for him! Thanks again. :O)
