My boys are older and the clothes are costing more, but I was able to get a pair of jeans, a sweater, and a polo shirt for $20 total. What was really priceless though, was the fact that since my kids are on a snow delay this morning, my 8 year old scrolled through the sale section with me and actually picked out the two tops himself. Does anyone know where to get cute 1rst birthday shirts for my daughter? Kind of off topic just wondering because my daughters birthday is in 2 weeks.
I found a cute onesie and matching tutu at Target that had a big 1 on it for my daughter’s bday in the Fall. You might also check etsy.com or cafepress.com for a personalized shirt. Don’t know if 2 weeks will be enough time to have it shipped to you, but both of those sites would have something adorable.

I picked up a 1st birthday long sleeve onesie with attached tutu and lots of sparkles from Babies’R Us last week. They are on clearance and ended up being less than $4! I also got the matching bib for around $2. You might check it out!
Try Babies R Us. That’s where I got all my kids 1st birthday shirts. Also, I think Fred Meyers had some last year (a dress with a cupcake and 1 birthday candle).

You can make them super cheap! Just pick the fabric that you like (you only need a scrap–look in the remnant section or cut it out of an old shirt!) and find a plain tee shirt or onesie that fits the kiddo. Using an iron, stick heat n bond (found at walmart for about $2 for a few big pieces) to fabric, then Cut the b-day number (you can get a template online). Iron on to tee shirt. I’ve been making these for my 3 kiddos for a couple of years now. Costs very little (I’ve used the same pkg of heat n bond for 6 tees and can probably do another 10!) and you can make them whatever theme you like. I’ve done a pink tee with zebra # for a zoo party, and a red tee with “checker flag” # for a cars party, etc. Only thing is, the number will come off after a couple of washings, but then you’re left with a plain tee shirt for layering!

I found a great deal on their PJs, I think they are called stretchies (basically footie jammies for kids). After the 15% off, they were 2.97! I had to search for them by name but they had a lot of designs in cotton and fleece for $4.50 and $3.49. Yippy!
I love their stretchies! I will only buy Children’s Place pajamas but I was disappointed to find out they stop at size 3T. Not sure what my 3 year old will wear next year!
