There will be two coupon inserts available in the 1/16 Sunday newspaper. You’ll receive one SmartSource coupon insert and one P&G coupon insert. Also, make sure to check your Parade Magazine or USA Today (depending on where you live) for coupons as well. Keep in mind that NOT all areas will get the same coupons or coupon values.

they want to reduce the value of my coupon for the price of my item. i thought there was an email about new coupon policy that wouldn’t do that anymore.
I read the Wags policy just yesterday and it says that they can… I wondered if they could but in a part of another entry (I think it was about the Rite Aid ad from yesterday) a Wags employee says they can’t… who knows…
I wanted to snag a Bic Triump 2pk pens yesterday(that were on sale for $1.99) but the manager said she can’t adjust the value of the coupon I had($2 off on any Bic Triump)…I was tired with my baby so I said I won’t buy it then…I was really hoping to get that pens though. 🙁
It does say in their policy that they can reduce the value of the coupon if it exceeds the price of the item.
I wonder why they can though, since they submit for the face value of the coupon? Isn’t that coupon fraud on Target’s part?
If it’s a printable coupon they write in the value they have reduced it to. That’s what I’ve encountered.
They get credit for the full face value of the coupon – it doesn’t mattter if they write in a different number, it’s computerized.
My local papers only have the P&G. =(

Mine too!! the front of the newspaper even advertised $104 in coupons in today’s paper but there was only the P&G and it said $47 savings. What happened to the smartsource???
This is not the monthly P&G insert. It is a mid-month issue. The good ones are always at the very end of the or beginning.
I am waiting for some higher value coupons.

I have noticed a decline lately…or it says off of 2 or 3. My SS the one week had 35 cents off of 3 prego sauces. Really? Come on Prego!
LOL We had a $1.50 off (3) Snyder’s Pretzels. Those aren’t too inexpensive to begin with, so I can’t imagine investing money in three just to save .50 each. I know that it’s hard to tell when a coupon will prove valuable, but sometimes I think the ink and paper should have been saved as opposed to printing coupons many people will just throw out.
As for pasta sauce, well there is always a pasta sauce on sale, so it’s not like Prego has a captive audience.
My general rule-of-thumb is to focus only on coupon of .50 value (per item) or more. At least the .50 coupon will double at Kroger.
I’d like to know where to find a good deal using the $5/1 Febreze Flameless Luminary Starter Kit?? CVS has 25% off theirs, but doesn’t list a price in the ad or online.
I did not get a RP insert in my Sunday paper!? Was there one in there or was I left out? I also did not get the Skintimate coupon =( Is this bad luck or should I call The Arizona Republic?

Hey I live in AZ as well I I did not recieve a smart source in my papers either! Is this a mistake or did AZ just not get them? My papers did have the PG in them.
I always buy 4 papers and today I only got P&G. I am sooo bummed about not getting SmartSource. I tried to contact ArizonaRepublic, but I was 4 minutes too late. I also didn’t get SmartSource #2 last week. I always look forward to my Sunday’s, but today and last Sunday have been bummers =(

Awesome. I have only been couponing since this past summer, but I realized in order to “stockpile” that I needed to buy several papers every Sunday. I have used almost all of my coupons from PG 12/26 to use… and literally only spent out of pocket less than $30 =) I will def let you know if I find any deals. I got my cousin into coupons and my boyfriend says I “Brainwashed” her.. lol.
WOW! No way! I need to learn how to do the more than 1 paper thing. It gets kinda confusing when you have a zillion coupons to match with RR and sales. Any tips? My BF thinks its amazing and his boss ( a man) told him I need to trench him how. LoL. I am not THAT good. I have only been using coupons for about month and half! Send any tips my way! =) You can brainwash me also!

in indiana, i used to buy the journal and courier for the lafayette/w lafayette area, but today I compared them, the Indianapolis star (or i think on sunday it is call the indy sunday star) anyway, has like two times the coupons. If you live in indiana, I highly suggest getting the indy paper instead of regional ones!
I went into the store and looked through one paper and saw SS. I wasn’t too worried about a P&G but wanted 2 papers, so I picked up another without looking for coupons. When I got to the car, no coupons in the 2nd paper! I went back in and the clerk allowed me to trade papers. When I got home I discovered there were 2 SS in EACH paper. I don’t think people are stealing inserts, as the clerk tried to maintain (she’s standing right beside the papers) but I think the people who stuff the papers don’t give a care if they mess them up or not. Has been happening more and more lately.
I live in Northern New York and we haven’t gotten any Smart Source Inserts since the beginning of the new year. Has anyone else had this problem?
I live in Central Alabama and I use to get a lot of good coupons in one of the newspapers around my area, but I haven’t gotten any SS coupons since the first of the year either! If they quit putting them in the papers I’m not going to have any other place to get but buy them off the computer , coupon sites or ebay! :(:(

I was so disappointed when I got to the store this afternoon and they were out of papers. I told my husband, “see I told you we needed to get before church, because they were out of the Charlotte Observer.” They only had the Independent Tribune. We went to Food Lion and they were out and had to Indep. paper, so I went through the paper and found a smart source and p&g, I got excited because they never have Smart Source in their paper. I bought the 2 they had and went back to the other store and bought 3 more for half the price of the Observer.
I was real bummed today because my sunday paper did NOT have the P&G!!
My P&G insert has 75 cents off Crest coupon, not $1 off. It will be very inexpensive toothpaste for our daughter who loves brush by herself.
We got a P&G and a Smartsource in my paper but our Smartsource was not that great. Half the good coupons listed we didn’t get so they must of been regional 🙁
I get the Sacramento Bee, the San Francisco Chronicle and my local paper delivered on Sundays. I wanted to buy 2 or 3 more Bees ($2 vs. $3 for the Chronicle), but only 1 copy out of the 4 I checked had the SS and P&G inserts. It was so weird. My mom was with me and she was like, ‘OMG, the looks the employees were giving you!’ I didn’t mess up the newspapers or anything, though. Geez. I’m glad I checked those papers out! Much better than buying the papers and then discovering each one only had the SS insert when I got home, right? LOL Strangely enough, none of the Bees at the next convenience store we went to had the P&G insert either. 😐 So I ended up with another copy of the Bee and 2 more copies of the Chronicle. Oh well.
I am moving to Southern Arizona. What paper has the coupons in it there?
