Ooh! I’ll be buying the Diet Coke 12-pack deal again this week, and using my WeShop $10 gc that cost $4 plus ECB from last week. Gonna make for really cheap Diet Coke – yay!!!!

    Thanks, Collin!

  2. Mitch

I can’t wait to buy 10 Vitamin Waters with 5 BOGO coupons and then get $5 extra bucks!
I also have a $5 coupon for a $25 purchase, combined with 4 free Sobe coupons that my mom just delivered! Add a milk and I will need the shopping cart and pay net $0!
    Thats why I love CVS!
    thanks
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

  3. Tim

I can’t find the Brite replacement filter coupon. Anybody can help me?

    • Jodi

If you skip the replacement reminder, you can’t get the coupon.

  4. Diane

Last week the coupon machine at CVS printed out a $10 off physicians formula makeup. It goes good with this weeks ad. You might be able to get it for free plus get back $7 ECB.

    • Sarah

I got that too. Now I just need to find a CVS near me that carries that brand…the two I’ve check so far don’t.

    • Krystal

I saved mine too….I got the new mascara that has a “try me free” on it, and another cheap item, used the coupon, got the extra bucks and ill submit for the mail in rebate! I’ll have made $11 when all is said and done!

      • ALYSSA

        awesome!

    • Reagan Collum

Man! I used my $10 magic machine coupon last week because I thought it would all be gone!

  5. Emily

This week is ok. I’m probably only going to buy the coke with my EB, just to burn them off, and then stop cvsing for a bit. Rite aid and wags are probably going to be taking up all of my time!!! On the other hand, collin, I understand if it takes a while for the Rite aid Deals to get up, there are so many good deals, so many deal scenarios, so I’m going to be waiting patiently! 😀

  6. Cammie

Looks like a great week in ECBs!

  7. Amber

At CVS do you have to buy 2 of a product advertised as 2/$7 or will one ring up at $3.50.
For example could I get 4 Dove hair products $12.00 and 1 Dove deodorant $3.50 for the $15.00 deal?

    • Emily

Yes, you could amber. 🙂 HTH!

    • Summer

Amber or anyone, are you interested in trading coupons? I want as many deodorants as possible and it sounds like you want more hair care products. I subscribed to 2 newspapers weekly, so I could trade 2 for 2 if you’re interested?

      • Karyn

I am! I get 10 papers every week and have surplus of just about every thing. Let me know!
        brodricka (-) 97 (at) hotmail (.) com

        • Summer

Hi Karyn, I just tried to e-mail you my mailing address, but the e-mail was sent back to me. Your address is brodricka-97@hotmail.com? Dash 97 or underscore 97? Thanks! : )

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anyone order that CVS gift card for $4 ($10 value) from WeShop (posted a week or so ago)? I finally got my email with the link to claim and print my voucher, but when I click it just takes me to Tippr and says I have no orders in my account. Anyone know what I’m talking about and how do I get my CVS money!!!?? Thanks

    • debra

The same thing happened to me. Just go back to the email and do it again. That worked for me. HTH

      • Amanda S

that is what I had to do also

    • Melissa M

I was having problems getting mine today. It wouldn’t reccognize my e-mail address. I e-mailed them and received a reply back immediately. I still couldn’t get it to work. I e-mailed back and they sent another one back to me within a few hours. The gentleman that I was working with was great and assured me he would get me my code. Finally, I was able to get logged in and print it. I cannot believe how helpful and prompt they were. I will definitely do business with them again!!!!

    • ricks48038

I just went and printed mine without issue. I logged in to the weshop.com site, copied the code, and clicked the link to CVS. I pasted the code in the appropriate area, and then it allowed me to print the gift card. Good luck, hope it helps.

      • JoR

FYI: my email went to the spam folder, so if you didn’t get yours, check that folder too

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

does anyone knows if CVS sells the Kellogg’s Fruit and Yogurt Special K? its my favorite flavor nvm they sell it!! its just walgreens that doesn’t. i already use my coupon from target 🙁 hope i can print another one.

    • Jennifer S

Yes my CVS carries it. My fav too!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

thanks i went yesterday to see if they had it and i use the kellogg’s product locator.

  10. Lisa-TX

If you have the new Safeway book it has a $1.00 off of Skippy. I got 9 peanut butters for a 1.00 – Thats a hip deal! (and I didn’t clear the shelf)

  11. klink

So glad the Physicians deal is on this week.I got the $10 CRT and tried to use it on the clearance items and score some overage and the cashier quickly voided the coupon after she scanned it and told me it had to be 10 or more.I always have trouble with her. She’s refused to scan coupons for me before,.just because she “thought” they wouldn’t work. She almost wouldn’t scan the BOGO Lifewater coupons when they were BOGO over the summer.

    • JENNA

I would write to corporate about her. I had the same issue with a cashier and I told corporate. They emailed me back about it so I could print it out, and they also ran a training for all the cashiers in her store.
Sidenote, I got the same $10 off Physicians Formula last week and used it on clearance. My total was about $8.70 and my cashier was fine and the register took it just fine. It just applied the extra to my other items I was buying.

  12. Nona

CVS hasnt done any baby/diaper box deals (buy $25 worth get $10 ecb) in over three months! I hope it comes back soon! I am running low(ish) on diapers!!!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There is also a deal for Physician’s formula makeup. Spend 10 get 7 back. If you have any of those 3$ peelies you can get some stuff for free. Better yet, if you find the makeup that has ”try me free” peelies. You can get it free and submit for a rebate. 🙂

    • mouni
    • Jessica

i had saved my cvs $10 off pformula and made out like bandit since they had 75% off alot of times..

  14. Olga

Has anyone been having any trouble with printed coupons in CVS lately? Last week I tried to do the Extra Dessert Delights gum deal, with the coupons I had printd from THEIR OWN WEBSITE (!) and the cashier told me they couldn’t accept those because they have a new policy about it, i.e. no printed coupons, period! What kind of sense does it make? If thy don’t accept printed coupons, why do they offer them?!!!! My CVS has been unpredictable about printed coupons for months by now – sometimes they required that the coupons are only printed in color (though manufacturer’s coupons usually state that they can be printed in black ink), then they wanted the coupons to be not cut out (but one printed coupon per page is a waste of paper!) And now they just reject them, even printed from a CVS website!
So I’ve been wondring if it’s just my luck or a nation-wide trend with CVS. I live in Flagstaff AZ.

    • Sarah

      Good grief, call corporate.

    • melissa

I have a store like that….believe me I have tried and tried to get the manager to see my point…its like talking to a brick wall. CS told me that manager has the right to decline IPs. I said but I’m printing them from YOUR own site. Then she changed her tune and said that Yes, I can use legit IPs printed from CVS.com as long as it has the CVS logo. I said, well not all of them have the CVS logo, just say Manuf coupon. Anyway, I figured for the time being, it was a loosing battle and really started shopping less and less at CVS. I just run in for what I need, and if I can’t find a non-IP coupon to match a sale, then I don’t buy the product from CVS. I just take my business to RA or Wags where they are more IP coupon friendly.

      • Olga

Actually, just a few months ago I completely quit on shopping in Walgreens. They used to be really coupon-UNfriendly! And on top of that their RRs are a lot less convenient than CVS ECBs (expire very fast and you can’t use them with manufacturer’s coupons or two per one item, or on the items that are supposed to generate more RRs at check-out). So considering all the inconveniences Walgreens has stopped existing for me. I hope I won’t have to cross CVS from my shopping list too – I’ve been getting some pretty good deals there so far. But those usually involved printed coupons. Bummer!

        • jiya

I am 100% agree on your view about walgreens.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I agree, too. I haven’t gone there since Christmas.

          • Nel

me too! wags can be such a headache! some deals are worth it but not lately…

  15. Ryan Fetzer

Help me please! I have 5 ECB that expire on Feb 3rd but dont see anything I really need, I have about every coupon you can imagine but am somewhat new to the CVS thing so I need a deal where I can you use my 5.00 ECB and put no cash out and get my 5.00 ECB back…Anyone have any ideas??

    • Krystal

Check with your local CVS, some will take expired Extrabucks.

    • Lindsey

Almost all CVS stores accept expired ECBS 🙂 Just ask. I have used ECBs that expired 2 months before and have never had any problems.

    • Brianna

Deal scenario #2 for the Kelloggs maybe, or the Dove deal?

    • Olga

In such cases I usually brows the “As seen on TV” section. I’ve bought some useful things this way that I’d never allow myself otherwise. 🙂

      • Craig

You can always get some sort of food/drink products. Then you dont feel like you wasted it completely. Thats what I do if nothing else works in “crunch time” lol.

    • Janine

buy milk! We always need milk!

    • Lori Rimlinger

Our stores here in Waco, Tx, put up signs this month that they would no longer accept expired ECBs starting Feb. 1. Be sure and check.

    • Reagan Collum

Ryan if you don’t see anything you need, why not get something you could donate. 🙂

  16. April

I got a $5.00 off 2 Revlon coupon from the CVS coupon machine tonite and was able it use it on 2 lipsticks that were 75% off. They ended up being free plus I received .76 in overage.

  17. Lindsey

Is the CVS deal a carry over from last week? I got it then, but will I be able to do it this week also if it has a limit of 1?

    • mouni

every week qualifies for different extra bucks. They aren’t linked. So yes you can do it! 🙂

  18. Anna @ Frugal For You

$5/2 Revlon cosmetics printed for me this Sat afternoon.

  19. katie

and sign up for free newsletter .
Please allow two to six weeks for delivery.

  20. Sarah

FYI: there is a $1.00/1 Herbal Essence coupon in the rebate PG coupon booklet if you got that. Using that with the BOGO, both would be FREE!

  21. Sarah

    FYI the Crest 3D strips are $31.99 (-$10 coupon, – 10 ecb) = $11.99 ($1.19/strip)

  22. Anne

    The valentine M&M’s are $1.25 each, not $1.75. 2/$5 – 1 ECB – 1.50 coupon = 2/$2.50 = $1.25 each. Picked up 2 of the peanut butter variety today! (That’s all my store had)

  23. jollie

is there a limit to how many ebc’s cash you can get in a week?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No, but I suggest rolling them. Make 2 or more purchases and that way you can use the first half of your ECBs to pay for the second half…if that makes since. For example, if I am buying several items that I know will produce ECBs, I will purhcase them first, then use the ECBs I just earned to purhcase the rest of my order. This way it is less out of pocket for you and you dont have all your money tied up in store credit. Hope this helps 🙂

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did the dove deal but came up 31 cents short for some reason. If I go back and buy one more item will I get the $5 ecb or does the $15 purchase have to b in one transaction?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No, not all in one transaction but within the sale’s week.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Excellent looks like I’ll have to pick up another deodorant once I track down another cpn to get my $5 ecb… Thanks!

  25. Della

If you do the Olay body wash and moisturizer deal you will end up paying more than 4 dollars out of pocket cause the cheapest olay lotion is like $8.49 at my store and the coupon is only valued up to $6.00. so you will have to pay $4 for the body wash and whatever extra for the lotion.

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Has anyone tried this…or would it even work?

Buy one Olay body wash $6 = $2 Ecb (limit 1)
Buy one Olay Complete Facial Moisturizer
    Buy one Secret Original
Use the buy Olay body wash get Complete facial moisturizer free (up to $6 value) coupon found in 1/30 PG
Use the buy Olay bar/wash get Secret Original Free ($3 value) found in 1/30 PG
Use the $2/1 body wash coupon found in the 12/26 PG (Exp. 1/31!)
    Pay $4
    Get back a $2 Ecb
Final cost $2 total for all 3 items.

Im thinking its one coupon per item? Just not sure if its legit? Anyone know??? Thanks 🙂

    • Melissa

I was just about to ask the exact same thing. Can you use both of the olay b1g1 free coupons together since you have to buy the body wash on each coupon or do you have to buy 2 body washes?

      • melissa

Since Olay is the qualifier for both coupons, you would need 2 body washes to cover the free items.

I got a RP insert today in my paper that has several coupons for the unilever deal. There’s one for 60 cents off skippy peanut butter, time to stock up!

  28. Julie Martin

Has anyone actually seen the Planters Nut-trition bars at their CVS? If so, where were they located? Thanks!

  29. Julie

Also, if it does not say “limit reached” on the bottom of my receipt once I’ve earned the ECB, does it mean I can do that same deal again?

    • mey

Yes! I just did the Dove and Unilever deal tonight. The ad states limit of one. However Dove limit has not been reached yet, so you can do the deal again!

CVS has Dove Visible Care body wash 1.99, there was a 1.00 coupon in the 1/30 coupon insert. The CVS I went to was out, but I’ll pass countless others on my way home!!!! If that fails, I can get a raincheck or price match at Walmart

    • LEIGH ANNE

I don’t know if it was regional but I also had a $1.25 off ANY Dove body wash 10 oz. or larger. that makes them only $0.74 each, I already have 4 but I’m going back for 4 more today! Yay!

I live in Chicago, so I wanted to pass this Unilever deal scenario on, using mfg coupons in the Jewel Food ad this week. There is a $1 coupon off 2 Skippy Peanut Butter that you can substitute for a better deal.

  34. Candace

I just got back and the dove deal separate into two different ecb categories if that makes sense.. so I didn’t get the 5 ecb back but it showed at the bottom of my receipt that $9 towards dove deal and then $7 towards dove deal on two different lines vs. combining for me to get the 5 ecb…weird?

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The kellogg’s at CVS was $3.19 for the Fruit and Yogurt kind.So i got an even better deal.I was so worry about the BOGO coupon because it didn’t have the numbers to the barcode and i also handed the cashier another Manufacturer coupon. I guess he just override it. so i go them for $.46 per box or one for free. BTW there is also $1 markdown Lotions i’m planning to get it tomorrow hopefullly i can make a Freebie if they accept it

Is anyone noticing if the Physicians Formula makeup is still clearance prices? I still haven’t gotten the awesome $10 coupon from the red machine….I really want it!

  37. LaurChc5

Ok i have a question about ECB deals. I was just at CVS and I got $10 worth of Physician’s Formula makeup but it was on clearance. I still made it to a$10 total. At the magic coupon machine I got a $3 off any physician’s formula coupon which I used because I have never had trouble with my ECBs printing when I’ve used coupons before but this time it didn’t print. I told the cashier and she said it was the coupon but when i explained that it shouldnt matter because my initial total was $10 and showed her that the ad says buy $10 and get $7ECBs. She called the manager over who then said it was because of the items being on clearance. I’;m just cpnfused about it. Can anyone offer any insights about this?

    • Ada - Lovin Him

I did the same thing and the mgr pointed to the clearance signs over all the cosmetics where it said in the small print: “not good with any other offers”

      • Nicole

I could not find any small print anywhere. The 75% off sticker was right above where they put the sign for the ECBs (on ALL Physician’s Formula makeup). So that was my arguement. I was very nice about it, she gave me the 7 ECBs after she went to make sure there were no signs saying it won’t work. She couldn’t find any either. Yay!

        • LaurChc5

yeah i might go back and try with a different cashier or manager. I swear I have got other items that were on clearance and had ECBs print before. idk

    Please please comment on this.

Yesterday I went to CVS and bought
    4 Dove Haircare (2/$6) =12.00
    1 Dove Deodorant (2/$7) = 3.50
    2 Scrubbing Bubble Bathroom Cleaner (2/$5) = 5.00

so the Dove products would equal up to 15.50 and I would get my 5RR but here is the thing, one of the Dove rang up only 1.19 so my RR didn’t print out, so i talked to the manager, and he said I would just have to buy 1.31 worth of Dove product to get the RR. He wasn’t very friendly either. So I told him can i just return everything…then he said yes but everything will be put back on a CVS card. Dove I used total of $5.50 off coupons, and $4 off the scrubbing bubble, and $7 RR. OOP was 2.37. Anyway, my refund on CVS card was 20.23.

OOP 2.37 plus coupons & RR 16.50 is 18.87. so i guess i got some extra $$ back but lost all the coupons. Is this to my advantage? Has this ever happened to anyone before? I don’t mind getting the cash card but i had to stand there and wait for the refund a long time.

on two seperate occasions i made a purchase, used a coupon, and did not get the ecb’s back that i thought i would (simply becuse i was in a hurry and did the transaction wrong in my head). i kindly explained i wanted to return the item (since i really didn’t want it if i wasn’t going to get the ecb’s) and they not only credit my credit card for the oop expense but then gave me a gift card with the dollar amt for the coupon that i used (since they couldn’t give me my coupon back). i think it’s very honest of them.

  41. Kallie

I’m new to couponing, and today was only my second trip to CVS. I got to the register, only to be told I couldn’t use any internet manufacturers coupons! I know I did last time. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the CVS coupon policy, or have suggestions for dealing with this? I still feel so slow at this, so it was a bummer to be all ready and organized only to get shut down at the register 🙁
