    Buy 1 Natrol Melanotin – $3

Now, you have $36 in RR! 🙂

    • Erin

You are going to need a filler item for Transactions #s 2&3! After coupons #2 is $9.96 so you would not be able to use a $10RR and #3 is $9.99 after coupons…Just an FYI

    • klink

My store never has enough stock. Most of the time there’s not even one sale item on the shelf the day before the sale begins even. You’re lucky if you can pull those off at your store!

      • Summer

Not sure about Walgreens, but CVS will give you a rain check if they are out! Can’t hurt to ask at Walgreens!

        • kar

What is a rain check ? I tried to ask in Rite aid once and she said I will be paying exact price of the item ( not the sale price and no +up etc) when the item becomes available. Is this true ?

        • Melissa

Walgreens will give a rain check for sale items but not for RRs. CVS will give rain checks for ECBs.

    • momwhocares

State laws may prevent this transaction and any scenerios with it. When I was at rite aid I was only allowed to buy 3 vicks sinex in one transaction. Federal law prevents the sale of certain cold drug items to a person of no more than 2-3. THe register will beep and they told me they are not allowed to seperate transactions either to push it through or they would be violating federal laws. So, check in advance if you can do this below as it required the purchase of 4 sinex product. But, I guess it never hurts to try.

However, most likely the post here would not be allowed as it requires the purchase of 8 sinex products – I’d call first to find out so you do not waste a lot of time int he store jsut to get told no at the register, as I am not compeltely sure – just trying to help.
      Spend $20 on Participating Vicks products = $10 RR, Spend $15 = $5 RR
      Deal Scenario #1:
      Buy 4 Vicks Sinex products $5 each = $20
Use 4 $4/1 coupons found in the 12/26 PG (Exp. 1/31!)
      Pay $4
      Get back a $10 RR
Final cost all 4 for FREE + a $6 moneymaker!

      • Diana

I had no problem with this deal in Southern California

      • dani

I had the same problem at Rite Aid they said they couldn’t sell more than 3 to one person even though it was the small size that I was buying and they carry larger size boxes. When I went to Wallgreens they allowed me to buy 5 with a reg reward deal they had. I called first and asked if they would allow me to buy more than 3 because of the regulations and she said that she had never heard of that. So I truly think it is something that they are making up at Rite Aid.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have had no problems in Maine either.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You can purchase four of the the pills the limit is on the liquid

  2. Janet

My coupon already expired for the Renuzit Adjustables air freshener.

    • Collin

Oh darn, you’re right. Sorry about that. I have since removed that deal.

    • shannon

Wait for a CVS deal with the renuzit coupon they will take expired coups.

  3. M

The Renuzit coupon in my 1/9 RP expires 1/23!

    • Collin

Yep… I didn’t realize that when I first posted. Thanks for the heads up.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Mine too!

  4. Jessica

last week at walgreens the RR did not come out for the got 2 b product. They told me that it didn’t because I used a $2.00 coupon and it won’t give a $2.00 RR because it is the same amount??? I also used RR from 2 weeks prior and 2 of them were $2 in value – and the lady said the same thing. It made no sense to me. I had the proper product to coupon/rr ratio and was using RR from products other than got 2 b. It made NO sense. She said if all the rr were any value other than $2 and the coupon was any value other than $2 it would not have happened. I was very nice about it and the manager forced the RR out for me. Odd since this store has told me they cannot do that. Is this a true rule?

    • Melissa L

The only time a RR won’t print out is when you use the SAME RR on the SAME product.
All other times it means something is wrong with the machine, although sometimes, for no reason, it does not print out a RR. They will just pick an excuse out of the air to explain it, usually the “you don’t get a RR when you use a coupon/RR” is the most popular one they come up with. And of course, that’s a bogus excuse. And that’s why it makes no sense, because their excuse doesn’t make sense when they just pick one out of thin air in the hopes you will just leave.

If you know you should have received one, and they don’t want to force one to print out, call Catalina Corp and they will send one to you.

    • lch2004

      Ugh…that’s the first I have heard of that. I think that’s bogus…

    • Kande

I have run into this issue twice this week once for the 2b and I also used the $2.00 coupon I had my daughter with me and was out of the store before I reliazed I didnt get it then yesterday I went and was getting the neosporin deal and the RR didnt print out. I ask the cashier and he said it was because I used a coupon so it wasnt going to also give me a RR. I am getting very frustrated with Wags I am kind of new at the game but was looking forward to the start of the new year to start doing this but it has been more frustrating this month then what I experienced in Oct-Dec which is when I started this. Have they changed thier rules again?

      • Rhonda

What neosporin deal? I haven’t heard of this deal and I need neosporin, please share ! 🙂

      • Dani

I’m with you, they yanked me around one too many times. I get all the same deals at CVS and Rite Aid without the headache.

      • Jennifer

I only shop Wags with coupons and usually stack one of theirs with a mfg coupon. I have never had a RR not print using all my coupons. The only time it won’t is if you are using a RR from a deal you are trying to do again, perhaps trying to get them to roll. I always nicely question and try to explain, sometimes the cashier agrees and help while other times they don’t care and I call it a loss and call the Catalina company.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also bought a Got2B product using $2 manu. coupon and no RR printed out. In the same transaction I bought PediaCare also using a coupon, only that RR printed out, so I knew the machine was working. When I spoke with a manager about the reward not printing, she said it was b/c I used a coupon. She manually made on print out but I thought that was so bogus…it didn’t print b/c I used a coupon?!?!?!

    • Amber Leonard Hansen

Which got2b q did you use? The first time I did the scenario I used the one out of the All you magazine and my P and G RR from last week. G2B RR didn’t print out. Manager told me it was because the G2B and the PG must be tied together. That is not true, I had done my research before I went. She then tried to feed me a bunch of excuses. Tried without any coupons and RR printed out. I had two more printable from awhile back. I left that store and went to another one where I have a good relationship with the beauty counter cashier. We did the same exact transaction with the printable q’s and more PG RR’s and the G2B RR’s printed out just fine. I have to wonder if that All you coupon did something strange to make the RR not print out the first time.

      • melissa

Its b/c Got2Be Manuf Coupon AND the RR that prints out are coded the same UPC. So the register thinks you are using a RR to pay instead of a manf q, therefore nullifying you receiving a RR. I was reading about this on another board, maybe Wild4Wags??
Contact Catalina Marketing, sorry I don’t have the # handy, and they should issue you a RR. If you email them, they will need all the info from your receipt.

      • Jessica

Yup, it was the All You coupon! I wondered that too. It happened a long time ago with a $5/2 medicine deal too. It annoys me how they make up random excuses. I cannot believe they forced it to print. This store is particularly annoying. Sometimes I just need to go there though because I can work it into my working day and not drag kids with me!

    • Dani

I had this problem at Wags a while ago and was told by the Catalina company that the computer will not print a RR in the exact same value as a mfc coupon used for the product. Had your coupon been any other value, even an overage scenario, it would have printed. I was told by the Catalina that I was not eligible for the RR and they would not send it. It’s been about six months, so maybe they changed policy and you will have more luck than I did. One more thing to watch out for at Wags.

    • Melissa S

I also didn’t get a RR on the Got2b product. I used a coupon. I didn’t realize it until after I had left. Was anyone successful on getting the RR?

There have been a few other times when the RR didn’t print. I too have had Walgreens employees tell me the problem is because I used a coupon. But, if this is a new policy for Walgreens, they really should make that clear in their coupon policy.

    • Lolo

      Jessica,
yes there was an issue with the Got2 be coupon form the all you magazine. It was coded the exact same as the RR so it thought you were using a RR to pay for it that is why you did not get a new one. If that happens just return the product and get your coupon etc… back if they will not run an additional transaction to obtain one for you.

      • Amber

Jessica, They wouldn’t force it to print for me, they just did a test transaction to see if it would work. I actually returned it as suggested above and paid for it with my return money and then my coupon printed. I have never heard of this problem before and am glad to learn of it. I won’t be going to the Walgreen’s I had the problem at. Even though this was not their fault I just don’t like to have managers try and make excuses when the RR doesn’t print and act like we are uneducated or trying to “pull” something. When she did the test she told me that the RR said compliments of Dial company, would not let me see it and tore it up before I could. (I did end up getting 2 of the G2B RR’s later at another store after using $2 printables and they DID NOT read Dial). I don’t even understand why she made that up because Dial would not have anything to do with PG or G2B either.
Dani-I was able to use my $2 printables for G2B and my RR printed just fine so I believe that is another made up thing from someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about at the Catalina company 🙂 It’s frustrating when people tell us this stuff and we have all done our research!

    • Emmy

I didn’t get the RR either, so I went back in and the manager just returned the item and gave the money back to me. Then she rang the got2be product up again and I handed the money back to her and I got the RR. It must have been the coupon as others have mentioned.

  5. Melissa L

Our Walgreens finally caught on to the Vicks Sinex deal…..they RAISED the “sale” price to $7.99 so that it’s no longer a moneymaker. They never restocked them once they ran out about 2 weeks ago, and now of course, after restocking, at the higher price, they are sitting there. No one buying. LOL

  6. Brenda

I just printed the $3 Thermacare coupon and it printed with an expiration date of 12/14/2009!!! Dont think I will be able to use that one!

    • Amanda

I also got a $3 Thermacare coupon with an expiration date that was 12/19/2009.

      • Collin

How strange… I just updated the post with this info.

        • Ms.Dee

Hi, i just printed the thermacare Q and the expiration date is 2/28/11, but it only let me print one!!

          • Daynamarshall

Can you not use the $6/2 part product coupon from the 1/9 SS?? There is a pic of thermacare on the coupon

  7. CoffeeB

Kelloggs site has $2.- off coupon on their Fiber Plus bars which would make these bars .50 cents a box.

    • Mashanna

I’m not seeing that coupon when I log in. Bummer.

  8. Kolina

I don’t see no “very” good deals. Yay! I get a break off.

I love the RED, love it love it love it!!

  10. Amy

I am waiting patiently for Rite Aid matchups 🙂 Cant wait!

    • Amanda S

      LOL ME TOO!!!

  11. gail

I just tried the thermacare coupon and mine expires on 2-28-2011 so maybe they fixed it!

  12. Francoise Van Heusden

Quick question: On the “Buy 2 participating Advil or Thermacare products = $5 RR” deal, can you buy one Thermacare and one Advil to qualify for the RR? TIA

    • Drew

As long as the tag (or ad) has them listed together, you should be able to mix and match.

  13. Julianne

My thermacare coupon printed with an expiration date of 2/28/11
    ????????

    • Ms.Dee

How long did it take for you to receive your gift card? Thanx!!

      • Daniela

I just took the survey. They had this deal a few days ago, but it expired before I could get to it. I think it’s worth the try.

        • Ms.Dee

Thanx!! I just completed the survey, so we will see what happens!!

    • Lindsey

      thanks, I tried it!

  14. Laura Miller

Has anyone ever had trouble combining a manufacture coupon and Walgreens coupon booklet coupon? My Walgreens told me they are both manufacture coupons and this can’t be done. Wondering what the policy is on this. I would love to stock up on the paper towel.

    • Tammy

My Walgreens says the same thing!

    • melissa

Do you have last weekends insert? If so, double ck b/c mine had a big ad for the Pepsi playbook (opposite the Kraft salad dressing coupon in my insert) Anyway, if you do, show the cashier the ad b/c right there it advertises to use the manf coupon AND the IVC coupon together.

      • Julie

I am not sure if any here has ever explained the whole reason why some Walgreens q’s are being labeled as manufacturer q’s so here it is (or at least my attempt): Walgreens partners with certain manufacturers to be able to offer discounts (coupons in this case) to just their customers. These special discounts/coupons are the ones we see in the monthly coupon books and on some of the Wag’s q’s that may come in the mail, email, etc. They are each given a unique 4-digit code in the barcode. Once the coupon is scanned that code goes into the system/register and will appear in a report that their computers run at the end of the month. (This is the reason they do NOT need the actual coupon to turn in…you can also use these coupons over and over). That report is electronically sent to the manufacturer’s and they will then cut Wag’s a check for the amount. This helps the manufacturer’s cut down on the “8 cent” charge the paper coupons (in our Sunday inserts) charge the manu for the handling and the coupon clearinghouses that figure out how much money goes to who from where. Anyway…bottom line is, if the coupon says “manufacturer” but only has the 4-digit code (which will have 6 or so zeros in front of it) and NO address to send coupon in for reimbursement, then it is a Walgreens coupon…store coupon…because it can NOT be used anywhere else…ONLY at Wags. Does that make sense or did I totally confuse you guys???

Most managers should know this, but maybe they just don’t understand (even though they have been told this in their training). This was explained to me by my store’s district manager and store manager. Thought I would pass it along.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          Very helpful. Thank you.

        • Drew

I’m an assistant manager, and this (or really anything about coupons) was never explained to me during “training.”

    • Lolo

Laura it is actually an IVC coupon that the manufacturer reimburses Wags for. You can use it with a manuf. coupon. The difference is that the IVC MQ is coded only for use at Wags, and all MQ’s for use at any store always start with a 5 or 9. HTH… If you have problems with your manager etc… contact Corporate and provide the store and manager info along with your phone and they will talk to them and usually the manager will then give you a call. It may not mean he will buy what corporate says, and if not, flood corporate with your complaint until your store complies. It is simply coupon ignorance that old school managers have been taught and can not or will not let go of!

  15. amber m.

I just got back from walgreens and they had the Butterfinger Snackerz 3 for a dollar at my store and took the whole 1 off 2 for them so they were a money maker!!!!

  16. Sidra

I was able to print therma coupon only onces =(

  17. Carla ~Wah Mama

Wow! These are some fantastic deals! I’m going to subscribe and look forward to your upcoming posts.

  18. Bill

From 6 pm til midnight, you can get Combos and Quaker rice cakes for 49 cents! They’re on sale for .99 starting at 6 pm (sunday sales start I 6, i work there) and the january coupon book works til midnight (which contains the $1 on 2 coupon on combos and quaker rice cakes). Though you’d like that!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WHat time zone do you live in?

    • Drew

The ad at my store doesn’t kick in until 4 am Sunday morning.

  19. Jen

Is any else finding the dove deodorant in the red plum add ~ $2/1 coupons found in the 1/30 RP

    • Tracey

Yes! I was actually very excited to see this Q! We are in NW Ohio! Normally our RP stinks…usually we only have 1 (if any) of the Q’s listed in the match-ups!

      • Christine

Hi Tracey, I’m in NW Ohio also, and I have noticed we seem to miss out on a lot of great deals here. It’s nice to know someone else in the area is on the board, maybe we can help each other out 🙂 I’ve been trying to find some additional blogs to reference (not that I’d ever leave H2S, lol) that are more accurate to our area, I do a lot of shopping at Meijer & Kroger, but it can be a struggle to come up with deals without help.

  20. Pamela

I can’t seem to find the Van Camp,s beans coupon in the Jan. All You. I’ve checked Dec. and Feb. issues just in case, but still have not found it. Has anyone come across this coupon, and if so please post where. Thanks.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s is for sure in the Jan. All You. I am new to couponing and have only bought one All You magazine. It was the Jan. issue and I have the Van Camp beans coupon from the magazine. Wish I had more page info. but keep looking.

    • Jen

Pamela its in the January issues … page 64 has an insert full of savings and inside that is the van camps beans coupon hope that helps you out

    • Annalisa

I can’t find the Van Camp’s MFQ either. Page 64 of my January issue is a calendar, and it’s the very center page of my magazine. No coupons on it. 🙁

Also, the January database of coupons does not list the Van Camp’s as being included?

  21. Amanda S.

Yay! I have a $10RR I need to use and I am soo glad I waited a week to roll it! There are a lot of good freebies/MM’s this week and now my OOP won’t be so high! Thanks for making this so easy, Collin!!

  22. Lana

For people who are reporting issues with walgreens not being stocked, I totally know what you mean. I got in real good with the people at my wags and they always give me the heads up on things. Talk to your cashier and ask them when they get their stock in. Mine gets their shipment (most only get one a week) on tuesdays, so the best time to get in on the deals is either midnight saturday/sunday or first thing tuesday morning.

    • The Paid Housewife

My Walgreens is ALWAYS out of stock; they always say “sorry we didn’t get our shipment in…. on that item”. :UGH. It is annoying.

    • Melissa

You can also try talking to the salesperson at the beauty counter. I have found that she is more helpful and knowledgeable about many of the sales than the manager. And she will frequently let you know when things are getting stocked.

  23. Katie

do you think you can use the $3/WYB 4 pepsi products 12 packs from the Safeway Joy of football booklet with the B3G1? It would bring it to 4/$9, which isn’t too bad.

    • sherri

That’s a mfgrs’ q you should. I killed using those coupons this week! Stocked up on chex mix and paper plates (I know, not a huge thing, but saved a bundle)

  24. Jacqueline

Also for the Blink eye drops theres a $2/1 coupon in the diabetes booklet from Jewels.

  25. heather

Where can I buy more vicks sinex coupons?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you can go on ebay… they are more qs in the papers today too….

  26. tammy

  27. Donna Mc.

    Blink Eye Drops 0.33 or 0.5 oz $7.99 = $7.99 RR
Use the $1/1 coupon found in the 1/2 SS

I went through the two SS I have from 1/2 and can’t seem to find this. I am in Maryland. Was this just in some states?

    • M

I didn’t get those either in No. VA!

    • ROSE

Watch for $4.00 peelies on Blink also.. i got 2 both had peelies with the coupon made for nice mm.

  28. Jacqueline

I am not sure if I did good or not but here we go =-)

Total cash was 12.22 including tax,Still have 12 RR to use Thanks Collin and all the people that post their Ideas =-)

    • Connie

You did great! I call that buying Walgreens currency – you spent $12 but you still have $12 to use in the future.

  29. Frieta

I also want to thank Colin and all the other folks who so kindly add their scenarios into the mix. In these days when prices have skyrocketed and paychecks have not it is truly a blessing to be able to provide for your family with the deals available to us at rite aid.

  30. Frieta

OOps, wrong spot for my last comment, buy ya’ll know what I mean :).

    • MelissaL

That .50/1 coupon from SS must have been very regional…….can’t even find the coupon in the various coupon databases online.:(

  31. Lisa

The coupon for the Scott p.towels in the 1/16 SS says it is for the long lasting or mega rolls but does not mention natural, which is what the sale is on… will that coupon still work? Also, the $.39 off coupon (in-ad) is for a Butterfinger candy bar not the Butterfinger Snackers. The deal below, which I copy and pasted from above in red, doesn’t make sense? I am new to couponing, so if I am wrong or misunderstanding, would someone clarify for me? Thanks! 🙂

Butterfinger Snackerz $0.39 each with in ad coupon
Use the $1/2 coupon found here
Final cost – 2 bags for FREE!
*Hand over the manufacturer’s coupon first to avoid beepage!

    • megs0575

Turns out Snackers are on sale 2/$1. So don’t need to worry about the .39 coupon and no beeping!

    • Heather W

The ad doesn’t just say it is for Butterfinger bars. It has sizes listed and the snackers fall into the sizes.

  32. The Paid Housewife

    Collin,
I just not printed a new 3/1 Thermacare coupon (figured I will try again– maybe they got enough complaints!) Guess what!? It printed with exp. date 3/01/11 !!!! Yay

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got 12 Butterfinger Snackerz for free! Plus, I got $1.20 in overage towards other items. Great Walgreen’s shopping week!

  34. Pingback: Valley Deal Seeker
  35. Dawn

Thank you SO MUCH Collin for all the great deals. I was able to get 20 butterfinger snackerz, Of course I did separate orders. And, I got a few other things with it, so I actually made money on those, cause they never adjusted the price down. Very cool!

  36. Erika

FYI there is a $1,50 cpn on Dove deodorant here -https://www.dove.us/#/insider/coupons.aspx

so you can use that in addition to the other $2/1 cpn so should be .12c ea!!!
    4/$15 – $8 (4 -$2/1 cpn) – 1.50 (cpn link)= 5.50 – $5 ECB = FINAL .50c!!!!! for 4 deodorants!!

  37. Frieta

I was only able to get the Melatonin and the Blinks today. There was no Arnicare, no Icy Hot 2 oz (however, there was a ton of the 2.5 oz that costs $4 more and does not generate an RR), and no Butterfinger Snackerz. When I asked the cashier she said they never know what to order for the upcoming sale until they get the add on Sunday, and then their trucks don’t come in until Tuesdays, so they won’t get the products until then. What??? She’s a wonderful lady, by the way, and it’s not her fault but if they don’t know what’s going to be on sale till the day of the sale something is waaayy off with the whole wags machine. I sent a little note to whomever it may concern on the Walgreen’s site. They really need to resolve this issue because it smells of false advertising.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No Arnicare on two walgreens close by. No butterfinger snackers either. Sucks!

  38. Nikki

I would like a few scenarios for those who don’t have the sinex coupons, but deals that have the least oop and get the most RR’s in the end. I have only one Maalox RR, and $7 Almay RR. Also have some $5, $3, and $2.50.

  39. Cheryl Sydenstricker-Lowe

So, this is all new to me and I’m preparing my first trip for tomorrow.

Does anyone have any insight on how a Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon works with a Buy 1 Get 1 50% off deal? I noticed there are some P&G Buy 1 Get 1 coupons for the Mens Personal Care Items. I’ve heard tell you can use 2 coupons and get 2 products free but I wasn’t sure if there was a smarter way to stack with the 50% off deal.

Also, what about the buy 1 get a different product free (like a buy a body wash get a deodorant free). Could you still use 2 coupons and get both products free?

I’m trying to keep my head from exploding (and reminding myself this is a new thing and to stay with it).

    Any insight is appreciated!

  40. Deanna

My store who is very coupon friendly would not take the Arnicare Q. It beeped and even when they tried to enter it manually it still beeped so it was a no go.

    • ROSE

      same here Deanna.

  41. Connie

I tried to use the coupon for the scott paper towels today. I didn’t realize it until I was at the counter, but the coupon was for scott long lasting or mega rolls and the ones I was going to buy were “naturals.” They didn’t let me use the coupon. Did anyone else have this problem?

  44. Amanda S

I had no problem printing out the ThermaCare coupon it’s good till the end of Feb of htis year.
