(Thanks, Coupon Gal!)
Thanx!!
This coupon was in our regional RP this week! 😉
Today at Safeway they had them for buy 2 get 2 FREE!
I have 3 “Buy 2 get 1 Free” Coupons. If the sale is Buy 2 get 2 Free, will I just have to pay for 1 and get 3 free? This is the part that always confuses me!
That is a good question and I would like to know the answer to please. A b1g1f cancels out a b1g1f but both of those deals are buy 2. I would probably buy 2 and get the 2 free from the store and 1 more from my coupon for a total of 5. But I think your way might be right.
Can we get thoughts or comments from our more experienced couponers please?
It depends on how the register is set up to process the sales. Some BOGO sales ring up each item at half price, others ring up 1 at full price and 1 at 0. If your cashier has to manually input the value of your coupon, they may put in the “half off” price or the full price.
Your best case scenario would look like this: (assuming a price of .50)
4 items @ .50 = 2.00
b2g2 -1.00
bogo – .50
total 4 for .50
If you bought these in a set of 12 I wonder if you could even do better (this coupon came in last Sundays paper too.) The store would charge you for 6 and you’d get 6 for free with just the sale. Then couldn’t you use 4 (B2G1) coupons on those 12 candy bars making it where you only pay for 2 candy bars?
Let me know what you think?
Thank you!
