If I remember, the terms (https://www.restaurant.com/terms.asp?pgn=x) say they do not expire. Hope this helps:-).
Some of them DO expire! But you usually have ONE YEAR to use them! We always buy for places where we’ll be vacationing and it saves alot of money!

I had a qtn for the people who have purchased the dinner of the month club.
1) Can we give the restaurant.com gift cards to someone else as gift?
2) Is there an expiration date for the gift cards?

Yeah that’s my question, too. So I spend $35… then I can use my $25 gift certificate… so my total is only $10?? (before gratuity, obviously). Is that how it works?
Yes — EXCEPT — many restaurants also make a 20% tip mandatory (regardless of your opinion of the service), don’t allow take-out, may exempt specials, buffets, only on certain days, etc… You really have to read all the rules of the restaurant you want to go to and make sure that the savings is truly worthwhile. I was really excited about a couple of restaurants near me but when I read the laundry list of rules these restaurants had come up with it wasn’t really worthwhile.
I bought 2 $ 10.00 gift cert. for Chicago Joes Pizza. I can only use one per visit. Although it helps a little, it would help even more if I could use them both at once. There is a big list of requirements.
I am going to Nashville in May, so I just purchased 6 gc’s- 2 for each restaurant. I didn’t realize that I can only use one gc per month for each restaurant. Is that correct? Or can I go to the restaurant two different days?
We have a favorite restaurant and we buy several at a time too. We have never been questioned when we used more than one in a month but it may depend on the restaurant. Not sure…it’s never been enforced where we dine.
onced you buy the gift certificate is usually good for a year, and yes you can use only one cerificate per visit

I heard from a friend that some resturants are not accepting these any more even though they are still on the list of available resturants. Has any one run into this problem. I already bought the dinner of the month club!

How do you purchase the restaurant of the month club? Do you just pick 12 restaurant certificates or is there something else I should be looking for? Please help. Also, yes some restaurants stopped taking them and my friend just had to call restaurants.com, give the info of the restaurant and such, and got her money back in the form of another certificate. You can call the restaurant before you go to find out and save yourself the trip.
So wait which is better buying them individually and doing it through the shopathome site (is there a limit you can buy?) or getting the year club? Also how long does it take to receive the cash back form shopathome?
