FREE Jumpstart Preschool Edition (After Rebate!)
WOW! Check out this awesome FREE after rebate item! Currently, Costco has this Jumpstart Advanced Preschool World Premium Edition priced at just $19.99 with a $19.99 rebate, so essentially FREE! This same set costs over $25 on Amazon! …And the best part, you do NOT need to be a Costco member to score this freebie (just skip the member # option)! Keep in mind, If you’re not a member, you will have to pay a $1 non-member fee, but still a sweet deal! Also, everyone will pay a tax of $1.68.
The rebate offer is a limit of one per household. If you are not a Costco member, you’ll have to mail in your rebate using this form. If you’re in fact a member, then you’ll have the option to submit your rebate online. Once you have received your shipment confirmation email, visit the Costco.com rebate center and then you’ll be able to submit your rebate info.

Review this item *carefully* before buying.
I purchased a similar item on a “free after rebate deal” from Costco last year…..it was essentially a “teaser” product for an online membership educational tool.
It was useless (IMO) and was returned.
The reviews on this product as Amazon say the same thing!
thank you this would help my 3 yr old alot! good headstart!
I love Costco, we buy tons there, and I bought this for my now 4 year old (almost 5) and my 3 year old…they will have fun! I hope it is a goodie! Thanks 🙂
I used these with my now 14 year old daughter, and I’m not saying they made her a genius, but she loved them as now as an 8th grader she has always been a straight “A” student. I bought this one for my son. THANKS!
Yay!! I got mine!! We have a 4 year old starting Preschool this year & then our last little fella will be 3 next month! So we will totally get our money’s worth on this, which was what $1.62 for tax?!?!? Can we say,”Sa-Weeeeeet!!”
I bought this last time for the Kindergartener version and it was the real game and they love it. Thanks!
Where does it say you don’t have to be a member to buy this and submit the rebate? Just want to make sure I can go ahead and get it and won’t have problems.
WOW…this is a great deal. Thanks Collin!
Thank you so much!!! I am so excited to get this for my son! Yippy!!!
Just remember, you cannot run this program on a MAC. If you have a PC, great deal!!!
Oh, I didn’t realize that about Mac. Thanks for letting us know.
I purchased this but now I notice that it asked for my member number on the rebate form. Will I still get my rebate if I’m not a member?
Thanks so much! I have never seen a rebate for Costco. I bought this and can’t wait to receive this.
Isn’t this the game that you buy (I think we’ve seen this deal before) and then it only lets the kids play like 3 levels and then you have to purchase more to continue playing?
Here’s what one review on Amazon said:
“First, you are forced to sign up with their online business or you can’t even use the software even on your own hard drive. This is so they can spam you and inundate you with upsale offers. When they try to upsell you they like to point out how useless the software is until you add their monthly package.Next, you can’t load the entire program on the computer. You’re forced to constantly change out CDs.”
Yes….see my post above. I bought this product last year and was very disappointed….I do not recommend 🙁
I purchased the same software at Bjs last year. I was very disappointed because I thought I was getting the entire game. Instead, this game only has 2 or 3 out of 12 levels. Once you complete the first couple of levels, then you have to sign-up for a membership with Jumstart. I returned software to Bjs for a full refund and then signed up directly with Jumpstart using a promo code for 50% off the mothly membership. I got the code by calling there customer service number and asking for a promo code to try the program. I would not bother getting this deal.
Thank you for posting your experience with this product! I think I will go ahead and pass on this deal after all!
Thank you so much for sharing, I appreciate it!
Collin, thanks for your hard work on getting us the best deals out there!
Judging by the online product reviews, you got a terrific product if purchased prior to 2009. However, this version seems like a waste of money, I just contacted Costco to cancel my order. Thanks anyway Colin!!
I got the Jumpstart Preschool and Kindergarten discs back when there was a free after rebate thing a year or so ago. My then 2 year old LOVED it. I thought it was pretty good too until I was bothered that you couldn’t complete more than 2 levels of the game unless you subscribed to a fairly expensive membership. However, the games were free to me and he did learn a lot and does still enjoy playing it from time to time. It’s not an incredible product because of the shady marketing they did on it, but hey, if it’s free, it probably doesn’t hurt to get it and try it out. Just my two cents.
The first bullet point says this:
This standard rebate offer is valid on qualified online purchases dated February 23, 2011, with a limit of one (1) rebate per household/membership.
Today is the 24th. Will it still work today? It didn’t give an end date, so I’m scared it was just yesterday?
FYI- I purchased this but was just told via phone that I can not get a rebate because I’m not a Costco member….
I called as well and they told me it would work fine and to put 99 in the spot that says member number
ALL of these computer games for preschoolers that are similar looking to this one are the same. Select levels and then you must cough up the cash. Thats how my daughters leapster explorer is as well ( the newest leapster system) she can’t give the dog bones because it tells her to connect it to her computer aka hook it up program my credit card to pay for virtual dog bones…but if this is FREE after rebate oh for sure I will get it!!!!! Better than usually paying 20$ for it!
This is a fantastic deal!!!!
If you go to Jumpstart.com, you can play around a little bit for free, no software required. You can play through a few levels and download 4 free games. I don’t know what the software offers that the free part of the web site may not. My son (4) really enjoyed it, but they really pester you to upgrade. We stopped playing it because I got tired of explaining the concept of advertising to a pre-schooler.
No longer available
I just received a letter in the mail from Costco stating they were unable to process the rebate because: they are unable to locate a rebate for the item???
I got the same thing!! Anyone have any luck?? What’s the dealio with that?
I did too. I am a little upset because I didnt think to print the page saying rebate 19.99 as proof…because since it was on the website I figured it was good…now I paid for this and can not get the rebate…I am going to send my proof of purchase and a letter explaining and if not then I am going to return it to costco!!!
Got the same letter. Am a Costco member and I was pretty sure the rebate was linked from that same page… How can it not be valid?
I got the same message. Pretty frustrating that they send this so much later. I’m just going to return it. It doesn’t seem like that great of an item and I hate having to explain to my three year old why I’m not going to spend more money (to add the Membership). I think it’s pretty cheap to buy a whole product, but only be able to use part of it.
