   I bought some at Fry’s (Kroger affiliate) this week for .79. I think the coupon says do not double, but it did. Free Airheads.

   I went to Kroger last night. Valentine items 75% off. They had Valentine’s with Air Heads to put on the cards, 28 air heads and Valentine’s. They were $1.05. The .50/1 coupon worked and doubled per Kroger rules. So I got them for .05 a box. I am going to save the Valentine’s for next year and put suckers in them. The Airheads will be used for Easter.

  Sort of an aside here, but yesterday I went to Kroger with 2 alike Q’s and only one doubled. I thought they took 3!

  But the airheads are $.50 at meijer so u can still get them free…although it wont double cause it will beep and the cashier will correct so no overage but free is still good!!!

   I found valentines airhead 6 count boxes at my walgreens. I paid about 16 cents for each box after I used the .50 coupons!

    Yup any store that doubles coupons+free or REALLY cheap! I scored them free at our Krogers, same with the Mentos!

    And if you buy Banquet dinners..watch for the boxes marked 4.00 worth of coupons inside.. Krogers has the banquets for .69 if you buy 10.. and in the box is a coupon for .50 off chef boyardee… save your 3.00 off from your daytona, clip 3 of the coupons in the box.. buy 10 chef boyardee’s Total 6.90-3.00dayton-3.00 coupons(since the .50 doubles to 1.00)=.90 for 10!!! If you want more just split your order up and keep rolling your daytona over. I’ve bought 30 chef boyardee’s ravioli’s for 2.70. Can’t beat that!

    Airheads are free at Publix & Food World (if they double). Mentos (if they double) are a .50 money maker per roll at Publix. Ordered 80 rolls from the grocery mgr @ Publix and had $40 in overage for other items. Spent $50.35, and saved over $489. Woot-Woot!!

  Michelle – does it mean that you had 80 Mento coupons to be able to purchase 80 and double the coupons for an overage of $40? I’m new at coupon clipping – and can’t imagine being able to collect 80 coupons for one item.

    If you look at the weight on the box compared to what’s written on the receipt, it looks like its just ringing up the price of the smaller size, most likely an error.

  Each air head is .55 oz and it is a 6 count box so the total weight of all 6 is 3.3 oz. The receipt says .55 oz 6s, so that must be what it is referring to. Just a guess, but I would assume it was a fair deal.

  So I had to comment bc I just had an experience last week and called to do the the survey and the manager called me this morning. I gave my cashier bad marks for being so rude to me when I asked her for the Walgreens diaper coupon back that I used. When you use a Walgreens coupon they are supposed to give it back to you for future use. This was the third time she had been rude to me about coupons so I called and did the survey at the bottom of my receipt. The manager called me this morning and said she knew who I was and she had set the problem straight with the cashier and told her employees they needed to be coupon friendly because we are bringing a lot of business to her store. I thanked her and talked to her about the RR deals coming up next week and she is going to make sure she has a lot of baby magic on hand for my friends who live close. If you have a bad experience try the survey, one person can help make a difference at a store 🙂
