There will be two coupon inserts available in the 2/27 Sunday newspaper. You’ll receive one SmartSource coupon insert and one P&G coupon insert. Also, make sure to check your Parade Magazine or USA Today (depending on where you live) for coupons as well. Keep in mind that NOT all areas will get the same coupons or coupon values.

Where did you get your sunday paper?
I just called my local payless/kroger and the guy laughed in my face (in my ear?). He said they don’t get their papers til 4 am the earliest.
The P&G insert I got was inside of my local weekend newspaper. They always add once a month with it instead of come with Sunday paper. The cost wise, I buy extra local paper every time.
Amy, a lot of smaller papers only have a weekend edition that is delivered on Saturday.
some places get there sunday paper on saturday . in houston texas you can go to the store and buy the actualsaturday paper but it will have Sunday inserts/coupons.
Help!!! I recently moved from one city to another, and the coupons here are terrible! I used to be able to get the Saturday Star Tribune, which had all the coupon inserts in it. Now I can’t get that paper, and the inserts in my current town don’t have many coupons in them. What do people do to get all the coupons in the Sunday inserts? Thanks for your help!

I buy a larger city’s newspaper. I did have to do research on where I could find this because most stores do not carry them.
I do the same thing to get the tribune. Only a few stores here carry it.
Jana, you can buy coupons on eBay or couponhunters.com or you can trade coupons with people online in forums like afullcup.com. Also… Try checking the recycling bins around town

I get 2 papers so I usually get a sneak peek on Saturday, nothing today!

There are also a few good coupons expiring this week that I hadn’t used yet…
My store lets me stack BOGO coupons with Other coupons most of the time, so I’m using (2) $3.00 off Ensure 4 pack coupons expiring 3/6 with a Buy 2 Ensure 4 Packs, get 1 Free Q (x 3/6). Got both of those from circulars, so check your stash because you might have them.
I also found Kellogs Crunchy Nut cereal (also circular coupon) $1.00 off 1, that I can stack with a Target Q to save more…
Miracle Whip Printable coupon (sorry, don’t remember source, but I know I found it from a site Collin recommended, just thinking it may be in your stash if you print regularly) for $0.75 off 1 can be stacked with a Target Q for $1.00 off 2 Kraft Condiments.
Printable Q’s for Crystal Light save $1.00 off 2 On the Go can be stacked with Target save $1.00/3 any Crystal Light, as well.
All of the Target Q’s I printed online, the others I mentioned source above. Might be worth checking your stash so you see if you have these stacks before they expire.
Totally off the subject here, but I was so excited I had to post this right away. GROUPON is doing the $1 FOR 3 REDBOX RENTALS deal again today! It’s good in all cities and the codes do not have to all be used at once. I did this deal last time it was offered and they sent three seperate, unique codes, so you could use them seperately. Has anyone in the Michigan area (I live in the Lansing area) had problems with their inserts matching up to the deals posted?? Seems like I waste a lot of time looking back to previous inserts to find coupons for a specific deal and never find them! I feel like it didn’t used to be this way…I used to be able to count on the fact that I would be able to find the coupons I needed for deals in my inserts, but it hasn’t been the case the last couple months! I rarely can do deals that involve insert coupons now! So frustrating because it wasn’t always like this….just wondering if anyone in the same Lansing MI area have been having the same problems?!
I live in Grand Haven all the way on the west side of Michigan. I try to get the Detroit Free Press cause they seem to have the best coupons of all the papers available to me BUT I too have noticed them not being the same the last few weeks. And they used to be pretty much identical.
yup, Detroit paper 99% of the time has the best and most coupons. I rarely ever miss out. If I buy my local paper, kalamazoo area, the values are lower and many coupons just missing.
So depending on how good the coupon situation is, I’ll buy more or less of the local or Detroit. Also, my local Big Boy has a mass of Detroit papers for free. I went in and asked to buy them once and the lady told me to just take some. BUT out of guilt, if it’s a great coupon weekend, we’ll go have breakfast there (with a coupon) and I’ll get 8 Detroit. So for breakfast and 8 Detroit papers ($2 each usually) we’ll spend $15 including a good tip so the ladies know me. LOL So on some weekends, I’ll just pop in and get some papers and they still like me.
So I have a problem 🙁 My hubby drove 15 minutes into town very early this morning to get me my paper which had the “$215 in coupon savings inside!” on the front. Problem? There was NO P&G Saver!! So..out of desperation, I drove 15 minutes into town and bought the other big city paper only to get in the car and see there was NO coupon inserts at all! Not even the SS! Now I’m going into the land of wasting my quarters and drive to another stores machine and tried to buy the same one claiming to have all the coupon savings only the machine won’t open after putting in my quarters. I had no choice but to buy AGAIN the other one thinking maybe I just got a dud. Nope..it too had NO coupon inserts what so ever.
My question is..has anyone had this problem and called the newspaper first thing Monday morning to find out what happened to the coupons? And if so what did they say..am I out of luck because I bought at a machine and not a subscriber? I’m just bummed because I saw the commercial on tv all week and was really looking forward to the coupons. Wasted 30+ minutes driving around and the gas money and extra quarters for a Sunday paper only to get nothing 🙁

No P & G in Louisiana paper this week
I am in BatonRouge and my paper didn’t have the P&G insert either. On their website it said it would be in the advocate. I am bummed!
I’d call the newspaper and ask them about it. You’ll be SOL if their paper just didn’t have any BUT if they were suppose to have them and didn’t, they should really compensate you with the inserts.

Thanks for the tip..I did and it said it was suppose to be in the Tri-City paper, the Yakima paper..and the Seattle paper. Turns out through talking to a fellow couponer I know that only the Seattle Times had it and the other locals were jipped. Not sure what happened because one of the local papers didn’t even have the SS. So if anyone gets the Seattle Times, its supposedly in there.
my friend bought the news tribune at walmart and hers had the p&g, i bought mine at the dollar tree and mine did not have them. i guess i’ll just be checking all papers from now on, waste of 10 bucks, lesson learned!
Oh wow, what a pain. Back in Dec., the newsstand here did not get P&G while all subscribers did. Weird thing was, I don’t subscribe and one had been put in my driveway. I was glad to at least get the one copy. I wonder if it’s a new trend that some cities are just going to be SOL and if part of the reason is that someone is supplying the people who sell coupons.
I always check before I buy, although I realize that others can’t because they are in machines.
I was marginally pleased with today’s coupons but restrained myself and just picked up one. I am saving my money for a week when there are significant food coupons.

Hi Gina! I live in AZ as well and I only recieved the PG and I havent seen any SmartSource inserts since 1/09/11 =( it’s such as bummer having to order them and paying shipping fees just to get the coupons. Have you recieved any SmartSources in your area. Im in Mesa.
I live in phoenix and checked 7 different stores no P&G in the paper, but the one that went to my house had it! I also noticed that at some stores the Wal-mart ad that showed the P&G ad on the front was missing too!

I did from my local and Detroit paper here in Michigan. I’ve never heard of P&G being random like this… Some of my values were different though. I only got $1 off Bounce, not $2.
I didn’t get my Smart Source from the Arkansas Democrat Gazette even though they usually have it. Anyone else missing theirs?
I get the Arkansas Democrate Gazette delivered to my house and I got both of the inserts in my paper this morning. You should probably call about it and they should give you an insert.

I got my P&G insert today but did not get the SS. Neither did my neighbor who buys 2 papers. I will be calling my paper in the morning to find out what happened. Looks like some good deals.
I bought three papers from the vending machine today, and the inserts were there, however the SS insert was missing the Huggies coupons. It looks like pages were torn out, of all three!! Anyone have this issue before?
How bad does this stink? I bought a sunday paper and it didn’t come with the p&g book that it normally does. I got ripped off! And as a broke college student, I consider $2 for a paper, a very expensive thing to buy. I save quarters that I find throughout the week just to buy one sometimes. Why spend my paycheck?
