As most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy a couple months ago… finally! You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink. (Thanks, Rose Knows Coupons!)

It’s a great week at Walgreens! …And please note that I have referenced the P&G Everyday Savings book in quite a few of the deals below. I know that most of us have started receiving this awesome booklet from their Facebook promo!

Can anyone in a test market (I’m in OR) confirm the monthly RR deal on the Vicks and the Cottonelle? Thanks.

    • stephanie

I went very early this morning the NyQuil deal ended at midnight

      • SP

        Thanks!

      • Gina

I bought all the nyquil items and also found out that it had expired:(

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was wondering the same thing, our ad doesn’t have any of the RR’s stated on these items.

  2. Kelly

one more question before heading out (thanks, momof3divas for the help earlier!)…
The Vicks & Puffs deal…is this the Monthly Deal for February or March or does it matter as related to shopping on Sunday (today)?

  3. Erin

Can’t we use the $2/1 Crest Mouthwash from the Feb P&G for the Pro Health Mouthwash RR? The Q is for 946mL or larger and the RR is for the 1L size. That would make them $2/ea, FREE after the $2 RR. I’m thinking it would work, but someone please tell me if I am wrong.

  4. stephanie

Collin, the NyQuil deal ended at midnight/yesterday. It’s a no go. I have confirmed 🙂

    • Donna

So the Nyquil deal was only for the month of February??

    • laura

I tried the Nyquil deal on the morning on Feb. 25th and it was a no go then too…

    • Deana

Didn’t work for me either, the manager told me that Feb 27th starts the March RR. Still, not a bad deal.

      • Kelly

Also, the in-ad coupon isn’t including the Sinex and the manufacturers $4 coupon is only good on Sinex.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went there today too and it didn’t work no 10 dollar register reward 🙁 but it was still cheap for 4 boxes of nyquil and 4 boxes of puffs 🙁 I’m sad tho it would have been nice and plus I had them void it and try is again lol felt a little silly haha

          • Dawn

I guess it was a good thing my Wags was out of the Sinex then! I went with Plan B and bought 5 boxes of the Vicks Drops and used my 4 $1 Any Vicks and 4 of the Free Puffs coupons, sweet deal! (If you buy 5 boxes, no beepage, lol)

Make sure you guys check your boxes of Nutrition pills, mine had a coupon booklet in it with lots of coupons, including one for $1 off which would make it a MM!

            • Jenna

did you get a RR for $10? I was wondering if it was just not including sinex. Someone had mentioned to me that the RR Vicks was goof through March 27th.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

For the Motrin deal, do you need to purchase Motrin PM like it shows in the picture of the $6/2 coupon?

    • Michelle

Went this morning and the only 20ct Motrin is the pm kind. I asked a cashier and she said I had to get the one in the ad. Needless to say they were all sold out.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No.. u can get the regular mortrin

  6. Amanda C.

So bummed that I’m in the test market (KC Area). I went to Walgreen’s just to hopefully see if the $3 Motrin RR would print. Of course it didn’t. 🙁

    • jiya

same here they said there is no rr on this deal? Why is that….r these deals regional?

  7. Monica

The Motrin IB ($4.99) is not on sale, just the Motrin PM at my store. I had no problems buying 2 Motrin PM, I paid $0.42 tax only, and got back the $3 RR. I rolled that right into Baby Magic, paid $0.21 tax, got back a $3RR from that.

  8. Marcy

Went to Walgreens this morning and the cashier would not allow me to use my $2 off manufacturer coupon and the $2 RR coupon at the same time on Huggies Diapers. Also, after I used the $2 RR coupon and made a separate transaction for the diapers, the system would not print out any more $2 off coupons. Is this right?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes this is correct, you can only use 1 MFG. coupon per item purchased. RR are MFG. coupons. If you would have bought a small filler item, you could have used both, but if you use a RR on the same RR item, you will not recieve another RR. It states 1 RR per purchase.

    • melinda

If you used your register reward from your 1st huggies purchase to purchase a 2nd pack of huggies, that is why it didn’t print out the reward on your 2nd transaction. If you use a reward from a product to purchase the exact same product, it won’t print out your 2nd reward.

  9. Megan

Walmart has the glade lasting impressions for 4.88 and with the $3.00 off coupon makes it 1.88, cheaper than walgreens 1.99.

    • Jennifer

For 11 cents, I will get it at Walgreens and save my sanity and not go to Walmart….lol

      • Steph

Agreed! Anytime I can avoid Walmart I’ll pay a little more (especially 11 cents). 🙂

  10. Crystal

Look for $1/1 peelies on the NasoGel boxes!! Makes it a little MM!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My one store – all the boxes had a pink round sticker on the front with a suspicious “abrasion” at the top and bottom of the sticker as if a coupon had been pulled off. Was it a round folded peelie or square? This new store also has instituted the 1 set of RR deals per customer nonsense. I had *2*. “But I’ll let you do this one last time.” Whatever. I’ll just go to the 3 other Wags 2 mi away. It wouldn’t surprise me if someone thought they were doing NeilMed a favor and removing all their peelies

  11. Amber W.

    Hi everyone, just some quick thoughts and notes on my wags trip this morning;
The vicks deal listed above did not print out any rr’s – still a good price for 4 vicks products but not a money maker
Baby Magic – worked like a charm and plenty on the shelves- and no limits yet at my store-did have to buy each one seperate in order for the rr to print for each one
Motrin- it’s actually the motrin pm (which is pictured) as the ib pain relief does not come in 20 count atleast not at my store-I had the pharmacist double check and it’s the pm – however with using the coupon you only get 1 $3 up for every 2 you get using the coupon- and I did have to seperate transactions for each of the 4 coupons I had in order to get the rr.
Ponds- B1G1 – they are 5.99 at my store not 4.99 so still a good deal but just thought I would let you know in case anyone else came across this too that’s all happy shopping!

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Spend $15 on participating Coca-cola, Hershey’s, or Planters products = $15 in coupons
I’m very curious to see what these coupons will be?! RR?

    • LisaD

Here’s what printed for me–I wasn’t overly excited to see what they were.

      $1/2 coke 20 oz. bottle
$2/1 coke 8-pk or 75 oz. mini cans
$3/2 Hershey or Reeses Candy, 19.75 oz
$2/3 Hershey or Reeses Pieces or Minis or Drops, 8 to 10 oz
$2/2 Planters Deluxe Mixed Nuts 10 oz.or Deluxe Whole Cashews 9.75 oz. or NUTrition 9.25-9.75 oz
      $2/2 Ritz 16oz or Wheat Thins 9 – 10 oz or Triscuit 9.5 oz
$1/2 Planter Flavor Grove Almond 6 oz or Peanut 16 oz
      $2/1 Coke Zero 12 pk

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Thank you. not excited either.

      • Sean

Look again. They are all store coupons. You can stack them with Manufacturer’s coupons and get some great deals. They also take off for every item purchased. For instance:
        5 – Coke Zero $3.33 each
        Total = $16.65
        USE
        1 – $2/1 Coke Zero 12pk (2057) (Takes off $10)
        = $6.65 or $1.33 EACH

And you get another set of coupons. If you have any free 12 pack coupons from mycokerewards, you will get 5 for $3.32 or 66 cents each.

        • bellabimba

where do you find this coupon?
          1 – $2/1 Coke Zero 12pk (2057) (Takes off $10)

  13. Chelsey

Does anyone know if the Brita pitchers are the ones inlcuded in the B1G1 rebate?

  14. whitney

Would someone be so kind to tell me if the following rolling scenario would work, not sure if Baby Magic, Colgate, and Motrin are p&g or whatever… THANK YOU in advance!

    1. get 2 of the $3 motrin, use $6/2 coupon, pay nothing, receive $3 RR
    2. get Baby Magic soap (and filler item) use previous $3 RR, receive $3 RR
    3. get Colgate (and filler item), use previous $3 RR, receive $3 RR

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think that would work. You shouldn’t need a filler item on #2, you’ll just pay the tax like on #1. And unless you’re using a coupon on the colgate, you shouldn’t need a filler item for that either (unless the Colgate is less than the $3, sorry didn’t look at that deal ’cause I cut myself off from buying more toothpaste). Good Luck!

      • whitney

        thank you!! 🙂

  15. melissa

Is anyone elses anti-virus going nuts with the coupons from the bricks ones? where it is green w/a dollar sign? My anti-virus Avira is going nuts with it and says TR/Buzy.1506′ and it says its a trojan virus….

Took a screen shot… will have to upload to photobucket –
    https://i402.photobucket.com/albums/pp101/imamama25/couponq.png

Anyways I cannot print any from there not sure what the story is. But coupons.com is ok…

    thanks for any input!
    Missy

    • ali

mine was doing it too…rebooted and started over. 🙁

  16. Vyxu

My store had peelies for $1 on the NasoSpray, my husband tried it and he liked it!

  17. jata

Gillette Venus ProSkin razor system $7.99 = $4 RR
    Final cost $3.99!

** There is $5 off in the PG 2/27 making it $1 money maker!

    • Carla

The coupon I have states that you have to buy the razor AND a refill. And my Wags has them listed as BOGO 1/2 off with no RR, so YMMV.

  18. Julia

Hey, not sure if any posted this or not but Maybelline is also doing BOG1-50% off….so wouldn’t that make 2 bronzers or blush with $3/2 coupon: $1.94?

  19. Geri

Could you use the buy one olay bar or body wash, get one secret original coupon PG(exp 2/28) along with the $1.00/1 coupon 2/27 PG olay bar or body wash?

    • momof3divas

      should work 🙂

  20. stephanie

    Hershey’s BLISS (yumm) has a sign saying 2/$5 but when I rang it up it was only $1.00 each… AND there is a coupon in TODAYS ss for $1.00/2 so I ended up getting 4 bags for $2.28 {a total savings of over 17.00}

perfect gift for my grandmas birthday today!!

*idk if they will fix the price in the moring or not, but if you want some it is a GREAT deal*

    • ali

Thank you SOOOOO much for posting this…I price checked all 4 varieties at my store and they all rang at $1 each!! I hate to put a damper on your already good news, but there was also a $1/2 Q in the March coupon book for Hershey’s Bliss which made them free when stacked with the $1/2 from yesterday’s SS. I had six manf Q’s so I got 12 bags free!!! Thanks again 🙂

  21. Noelle

Just had a terrible experience at Walgreens! As I was walking up to the Motrin PM a man rushed in front of me and cleared the shelf! I even said something about having the coupon as I watched him take all 20 bottles and walk away without looking at me! I was more upset about his rudeness and greediness than anything…just wanted to let everyone know that you are not the only couponer out there trying to get a deal. Please be kind and leave some for others! Especially if they’re standing beside you saying they were planning to get one!

    • Heather

Had something like that this morning too,he got all the motrin then all the baby shampoo…I got out to the car and told my husband what happend he said well he will probably sell it. So we went to the local flea market afterwards to get phone cases( wont to that again) but anyway,my husband said look and sure enough it was the man at a booth selling all that kind of stuff! I was so angry!!

    • Ande

Got to agree with you. Folks like that spoil it for all the rest of us. Many of them are resellers. The manager at Wags told me two ladies came in at 2AM and cleared his shelves of the Motrin and other items. They bragged that they had been to 6 Wags, and done the same thing at each. The manager put up his own sign: limit one RR deal per item per person, but too late for the already sold out items.

    • LoriN

I just checked the ad since I was curious about how they could get RR for for a cart load of Motrin. If the ad doesn’t say one RR per offer it will print RR for each item? If so that is ridiculous to allow people to buy that much of one product. The first two Walgreens we went to today were out. We found some at a third. We bought two but did it in two transactions since I thought we would only get one RR if we did it in one transaction. So could I have done it together and gotten both RRs since the ad didn’t say “one per offer”?

      • Noelle

He had to buy it in seperate transactions, but I saw that he had the $6 off 2 coupon so for every two he bought, he would make $3. He probably made about $30 on them.

        • LoriN

That’s ridiculous that the store allowed him to do that. I hope you are able to get your Motrin sometime this week.

          • Noelle

Thanks, me too!! They’re supposed to restock on Thursday so I’m crossing my fingers! 😉

  22. Stefany

Ahh! I got my deals printed up last night and did not see the Vicks Sinex deal at Walgreens was scratched out! So, I ended up doing the deal and not getting the print off 🙁 It still ended up being a good deal for me, as I had a $5 RR to use up before it expires tomorrow. So (with my cheap filler item) I ended up paying less than $2 OOP for 4 Sinex products and 4 Puffs Plus Lotions! I was still very pleased with this deal even w/o the RR 🙂

    • Patrice

This was me too! 🙁 Wish i would have checked before I went out this afternoon. Oh well. We were actually almost out of Dayquil so it’s not so bad.

    • Carissa

I just did the same thing! 🙁 I came home all prepared to call Walgreen Customer Service, but decided to check the post to ensure I knew what I was talking about! Apparently I didn’t!

  23. AJ

Hi, I would really appreciate a YJ 20%off amazon coupon code. Please email me @ shwsing@gmail.com
    Thanks in advance.

  24. MA

Coupon for ARm & Hammer Detergent has expired.

  25. Laurie M.

Just got back from Wags and SOOOO upset about the Vicks deal. 🙁 🙁 I had no idea that it wasn’t printing out the RR. 🙁
I guess it would be way too confusing to try to return it all now considering the number of coupons used. 🙁 Anybody have any experience with this??

    • vmat

i’ve done this plenty of times and always had satisfactory (though varied) results. if they comment about coupons at all, i just point out which were for the items i’m returning. sometimes, they’ll just give you a store gift card so as not to hassle with the coupon deal. but most times, they just give you your money back in the form you paid.
if no luck, try back another time or another store.

  26. Nellie

Awwww, the $1.25/1 Arm & Hammer coupon is no longer available. 🙁

  27. couponer

can you use the q’s in the wags coupon book with a manufacturer q? I had the manufacturer q from today’s paper for the glade lasting impressions, and the one from the wags monthly coupon booklet, and the cashier told me i couldnt use both. She said the q’s from the monthly coupon booklet are manufacturer’s q’s…..so i could not use them together with a regular manufacter’s q……………..??? was she wrong?? i thought i had done this before…

    • Brittany

She was wrong. Surprise surprise, another uninformed Wags cashier. I went this morning to do my transactions, and was so angry after my first one I almost walked out. I get so sick and tired of old bitty cashiers (WHY are they always working Sunday mornings at my stores) who give me the “You can’t use this coupon” line when one beeps. It’s almost hysterical because everytime I go to Wags lately it’s a freakin’ beepfest, no matter how planned out my transactions are thanks to the new scanners. I just looked at her and said “This happens all of the time, you’ll have to punch the number in.” After she reluctantly did that, it went through fine. Needless to say, I took my other items over to photo and finished my transactions with someone who wasn’t going to tell me I couldn’t use a coupon just because it beeps. Sorry for the vent, I just saw your post as a perfect opportunity to let out my frustration LOL.

      • couponer

thanks. i couldnt find anything specific in their coupon policy about it…….itjus says “when purchasing a singe item, walgreens accepts one manufacturer couponand applicable wagreenscoupons for the purchase of a single item…,” but it doesnt say anything about a wags “manufacturer” coupon specifically. so i couldnt argue the coupon policy with her. i think i might email wags customer support and see if i can get an email back to print out that states the coupon book q’s can be used with man. q’s. incase i run into this poblem again….and venting is totally fine!! i often run into the same grouchy uniformed cashiers at my wags. makes me just want to stick w/ cvs but sometimes the sale items at wags are too good to pass up!!

      • cwil

“freakin’ beepfest” ….that’s hilarious. I know what you mean!

        • Brittany

LOL, seriously! It drives me INSANE! I was going to skip Wags this week but Colgate MM, Baby Magic, and MM Motrin were too good to pass up. I hope the Sinex deal gets fixed since they are advertising it in the store thru 3/26. I had them void my transaction and got my coupons back.

        • Dawn

I told my husband that “You must avoid Beepage at all costs” He looked at me like I was slightly mad…

I LOVE my Wags, I got one of the managers today, who already knew there was an issue with the Colgate RR printing if you used the coupon, he checked my reciept, counted up how many I should get, and force printed one for me. ;p

    • Denise

If you look at the fine print on the coupons from the book, some of them say “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens”. This is a recent change they have made.

      • Lindsay

I noticed that too!!! I didn’t see it in the Feb book but the March coupon book definitely does. I didn’t use any today, so will be curious to find out how it all goes down next week.

  28. tgebbeken

Went to Walgreens today and the register wasn’t ringing in the Olay for BOGO it was only for the regular Olay not the Advance is what the cashier and manager both said. Very disappointed. 🙁

  29. Heather

HI! I was wondering if anyone has access to an extra infant care booklet? I have checked all of the Wags around me, to no avail. I’m due on April 1st, and have been trying to build my stockpile of items! If you have one that you are willing to send me, please email me at softballprincess1325 (at) yahoo (dot) com

    Thanks in advance!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you contact Walgreens and tell them you are unable to find the Infant Care coupon books, they will mail you one. You could also ask the mgrs at your local store to see if they can get them in their stores. My daughter-in-law did both of the above and was able to get several coupon books

  30. Doa

I have a quick question about rainchecks, if you ask for one will you not get the RR at time of purchase?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My understanding is that you will *not* get the RR on a raincheck unless you come back during the same time period (week, month…)

      • Doa

        Ok got it, thank you!

  31. Candin

I bought 4 RR qualifying items and only got 1RR. If I recall I used to get one for every item I bought. Did they change something? Needless to say, I was quite bummed.

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Why is Wags so confusing!!! I just got home. I went tonight after reading all the posts about cleared shelves. I figured I’d better get up there. I had no problem finding items. The only item I’d planned to get that was sold out was the Motrin PM. There was plenty of the baby wash, some Arm and Hammer, etc. I remembered to grab a couple of fillers (Good and Fruity on clearance for 37c). All my coupons went through– no problems. The only glitch was that somewhere my in ad coupon for Dentyne got lost and so I didn’t get the sale price– just the mfg coupon off. Rats. But my Colgate was a MM, so I guess that evened out. But of all the places I coupon, Wags makes me the most nervous.

Oh! A few weeks ago, CVS had Dove body wash on sale (the 10 oz bottles) for $2 and I waited too long to get there– only got one (and used my $1.25 off Q). I forgot to get a raincheck and I’ve been looking around (Target, Walmart, etc) and couldn’t find that size anywhere… BUT… while I was wandering around Wags tonight, I saw that they had it! So, I grabbed another bottle for 75c.

  33. Tawanda

I went to my neighborhood Walgreens and the cashier informed AFTER my purchase was totaled and coupons handed over that they no longer accepted printables. You can imagne my surprise as I’m in there every week, and no one had mentioned it to me. I asked as to when the policy has been implemented, and he said it’s been (in effect for) a while. So I went to another store, purchased the items using the printables, and then promptly went home to send an email to corporate. It will be interesting to see if I receive a response. The good thing is that I have time to begin an email campaign…

  34. YUKA

Found some marked down Tampax tampons 36ct(Pearl & Compax mixed) for $2.29. Stacked with $2 P&G(02/27) coupon, paid $0.29 + TAX – $1RR = little money maker ! This may not last long since ad states the size(counts) of the products qualified for RR. Snag them before its too late !!
    P.S. I’m in San Antonio,TX.

  35. Melindatx3

Ok so the Olay coupon I found in my 2/6 SS was for $3 off Olay Regenerist Facial Moisturizer or Facial Clenser. Are these included in the Olay BOGO sale? Anyone know?

    • Dawn

I’ll have to check on that tomorrow, you could stack that with the coupon for the Free Body Wash WYB Cleanser that was in todays PG inserts. I’ll have to price check to see if its worth it, I think I have enough body wash and cleanser to last me years. I’ve started bringing it to friends now when I see them (Hi, How are you, here’s a bag of toothpaste…)

    • Lindsay

I used the same coupon on the same item. They did not ring up BOGO for me, however I didn’t notice it until I went out to my car. I went back in and they immediately figured it out and gave me the money back that I overpaid. They did not question it one bit.

  36. Susan

Thanks so much for the heads up on the Motrin p.m. 🙂

  37. ali

EVeryone price check the Hersheys Bliss bags at your store…all 4 varieties were ringing at $1.00 yesterday (sunday), so if you use the $1/2 Q from the March coupon book with the $1/2 Q from the SS yesterday, they are free!! I hope they haven’t fixed it yet…good luck!!

  38. hanna

hey I did not go through and read all the comments but there is a $1 off coupon on the anti-aging product. Which makes this a money maker. If you want to buy a second one.

    • hanna

….inside the box of the anti-aging product.

  39. jiya

Walreens is always hard to shop.I haven’t recieved any rr on mortin deal. Are these deals regional?

  40. Porsche.Kumming

Can I get more than one RR in a transaction? Or do I have to separate all of the items with RRs?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought three RR items last night– Baby Magic, Aquaphor and Colgate– all in one transaction. I got three separate slips of paper: $3, $4 and $3. (And they tell which one was from which product so that I know if I want to buy, say, more Colgate, I can use the Baby Magic and still ring up another RR for the Colgate this week.)

      HTH

  41. murray

Can anyone tell me if I can use expired “RR” at walgreens? After looking closer at the exp date – it was the 26th not the 28th! 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Depends on the store, but they don’t beep, and most cashiers don’t look at the exp date. One mgr told me “As far as I’m concerned, you spent money to qualify for the RR, so use it.” This was shortly after I threw away $14 of slightly exp RR’s ..sniff

  42. Olga

I was told today that I can’t combine Register Rewards with manufacture coupon, and I have to use either RR or coupon. Is this true?

    • kim

you can as long as you use a filer item also.

  43. Nel

    thanks for posting!!!

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

DID ANYONE BUY THE COFFEE ON SALE THIS WEEK? MY STORE DIDN’T HAVE ANY , WHICH REALLY ANNOYS ME, SO I’M WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE GOT IT. ALSO, I HAVE THE PRINTABLE COUPONS FOR MAXWELL HOUSE DAILY BREW, WONDERING IF THEY WILL WORK. ANY ADVICE?

  45. nancycrom

I just wanted to let everyone know about the “Applied Nutrition Anti-Aging Total Body Defense” vitamin , 50 ct., that’s free with RR. FIrst, there’s a $1q inside the box you can use on it. So I bought one, and opened the bottle right in the store to see what the pills are like. THEY ARE HUUUUGE! (And I take some decent sized vitamins) I actually turned around and returned them right there, there’s no way I will swallow those. Wanted to give everyone a heads up on this. 🙂

    • terri

I’m surprised they let you return pills that were opened.

  46. Michelle

Can anyone help me? I purchased 2 of the $2.99 Colgate toothpastes ( in seperate transactions) and did not receive the $2.99 register rewards on either transaction. They were the correct size and type as listed in this week Collin’s post.(I don’t blame Collin). I didn’t see any Colgate toothpatstes listed for rewards in myWalgreen flyer or on the Walgreen’s site. I only saw the reward deals for Crest. Is anyone else having a problem with no rewards printing on the Colgate toothpaste? I didn’t know if I should call Walgreens, or if there was an error.
    Thanks!

  47. Julie

My Walgreens had a huge bin of Cream of Wheat for $1.00 (kinda like a trial size box). Using the coupon on Cream of Wheat’s website, got the box for free!

  48. Carly

Anytime there are coupons included in deal listings that have a link to print a coupon, I am always asked to install the coupon printer. I have downloaded and run the installer several times but it always still asks me to download and after I do, my coupons won’t print. What am I doing wrong?

    • Araaidan

Have you tried a different browser?

      • Carly

Oh, my goodness! Thank you sooo much. I didn’t even ever think of that…my couponing just got a lot more exciting! :o)
