Did this actually work for you? I redeemed my points and then went and added it to my cart and my code only took off for the personalization not the towel. So I had to call disney movie rewards to get my points back.

You redeem it first on DMR. Then at the Disney Store, they have 13 different varieties.
Yes that is what I did. Then I followed the link from the confirmation email. It looks like it is working now for people so they must have fixed the problem. They said they would work on it.

I just did my order. I copy/paste my code and also got an error message.
Erase the last letter after u copy/paste it on the apply promo section and actually type the last letter of the promo code .. that worked for me!

I figured it out. You have to put in a credit card in order to complete the transaction. I can’t see why, but that’s in the redemption part on the Disney Rewards site. So now it worked. 🙂

Thanks! I got the Rapunzel one for my daughter. I was going to do it without the personalization and the code didn’t work until I added personalization? But it did finally work!
I redeemed mine just a bit ago. But the Disney store says my code has already been used!!!!!!! What? I just got it! Of course the Disney store says I need to call Disney Rewards and they are closed. By the eime they get back to me, the towel free shipping will be gone casue that’s my luck…grrr
It did the same to me, but try adding a different towel and see if it automatically comes off the price. That is what happened to me. It is like it saves the code after you put it in once, even if you empty your cart. It wasn’t working on the Toy Story towel, but it worked on the Tinker bell towel.

I wasn’t sure at first if I was supposed to enter the code in the promo box, so I entered the SHIPSWIM code to get the free shipping. Then I was continuing with the order and didn’t see another place to enter the code from Disney Rewards site, so I went back to the beginning and added the code in the promo box and it took off the price of the towel and the personalization and made my total ZERO! 🙂
glad they finally have some new rewards. I bought movies & saved for 2 years for the sculpture of Nana from Peter Pan… and just when I got enough it sold out (many were getting points all of a sudden from the 25 Days of Christmas promo & buying up all the rewards gifts). how do you get money back on a $0 purchase?
I tried to get the Toy Story towel, and I wasn’t getting the option to personalize it, then I put in the code, it wasn’t taking off anything. So I tried entering it again and it said the code was already used, so I emptied the cart and started over, and still got the same message. I removed it again, and tried the Tinker bell towel, and then it went through (the personalization and code). I am glad that it happened that way though, because then I realized instead of getting one for my son for no reason, I am getting one for my daughter who has a birthday next month 😉 Thanks Collin!!

Just got mine! took two surveys online to bump up my points to have enough:) It would not go through online, so I called the customer service number and they put it through for me. They said they had several other calls that had the same problem, so there must be a glitch. I did need to give credit card info eventhough it was a totally free towel, free personalization, and free shipping. They said it is needed just for the computer to accept the order. I got the CARS towel:)
I love DMR! This is the third time I have gotten a reward this year and I still have points. My 8yr old loved the Tangled movie so I have been able to order a hat, scarf and glove set and she also got the tote w/ the color changing water bottle. I had given up on new rewards for now, so thanks for this post.
