Heart Healthy Promo

Through March 26th, you can snag a $20 +Up Reward with a $50 purchase of select heart healthy products or a $10 +Up Reward with a $30 purchase of select heart healthy products. Please note that a $10 +Up Reward will print on your receipt when you reach your $30 purchase requirement and an additional $10 +Up Reward will print when you reach your $50 purchase requirement (limit 1 +Up Reward per household). Each week, I will identify items in the weekly deals that qualify for this Heart Healthy Promo by marking them with a ♥

Video Values Update:

March’s selection of Video Values includes a slightly different Beauty Bonus offer. The Beauty Bonus is $2 off any purchase of $10 or more of select beauty products (the specific beauty products that the coupon can be used towards will be listed on the coupon)…earn this offer by watching all 12 of the beauty videos specified on the Video Values site.

$3/$15 Coupons
If you have a recent Rite Aid receipt, look at the bottom of the receipt for an opportunity to take a Rite Aid customer service survey. Then just head over here, enter your unique 16 digit code that is listed on the bottom of your receipt, complete the survey and upon completion, you’ll receive a printable $3/$15 coupon that is good for 2 weeks! Note that it appears you can only earn a maximum of three $3/$15 coupons per month. Check out this post for more information.

For the very latest Rite Aid coupon policy, please go here. I would encourage you to print a copy to take with you to the store.

Also!!!! Go to https://www.ghirardellisquared.com scroll to bottom of screen to print of two $1/1 coupons for Ghrirardelli chocolate, making them $1 each

    • Collin

Thanks Megan! Just added it to the weekly deals.

  2. Justyna

Just returned from my weekly trip to RiteAid. Bumble Bee chunk lite tuna is BOGO50%! Plus a $1 Up reward for each can making each can $0.12!!!!!!! I am sure the Albacore is included but will be bit more.

    • Rebecca

      Albacore is NOT included.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

albacore will be on sale next week and will offer a $5 up wyb $15, plus it will still give you the $1 up each can as this is a monthly up. The albacore will give you a $1 UP this week too, but it is NOT part of the bogo50%. HTH

      • Andrea

Do you happen to know if the albacore will be on sale in addition to the $5 off $15 plus up rewards? Regular price around my area is $1.99

    • audrey

New policy after reading on blogs that the Monthly reward will now only be given once per household. So the tuna may not be giving extra $1 next week.

      • Dana

the plus uprewards for the tuna and sardines has been pulled by rite aid

  3. Terri Hayes

The Doritos deal can be even sweeter! There was a Smartsource printable coupon that I printed that gives you a free 2 liter of Pepsi Max when you purchase Doritos chips 11.5 oz bag or larger. The coupon expires 12/31/2011.

  4. Colleen

What is triggering the $3 off $15 survey codes. I have only been able to get one on my receipt and I have many receipts. Is this the same as the code with the take a survey to enter into a sweepstakes? It doesnt say anything about a $3 coupon for doing it? It is ironic the only one I got was with a refund for a free coupon item in which the cashier didnt take off the right amount. Nothing on any of my other receipts from purchases.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know if the snickers deal is really only on per customer, My flyer dosen’t have a limit printedon it?

      • mel

Yes, the Snickers is LIMIT 1, at least according to my ad. I grabbed another bar b/c my subtotal wasn’t enough to use my last $2 UP and I only got 1 .88 UP.

    • LaToya

      RE: the survey codes.
I’ve gotten 3 – – one each at 3 different stores. My guess is that it’s once per location.

      • Jenna

Last week, I received two surveys with back to back transactions at one store.

    • Kathi

Nothing seems to trigger them for me. I bought 2 items this past week that were not on sale. Safety pins and a bottle of wine. And I got one today when I bought several things that were part of the scr sale at a store I don’t generally go to.

      • LaToya

I think that’s why….because it was a store you hadn’t been to. It’s one per person per location.

        • Brenda

I’ve received more than three survey offers and I only shop at one location.
I think it’s more random than just different stores.

          • mel

I don’t think thats it. I only have 1 store that is near my house, its the only one I’ve ever shopped and I got 2 surveys last week and another one printed out this morning.

          • cathy

I’ve gotten four from one location and none of another location.

        • jc0611

I only shop at one location and I’ve received 5 in the past two weeks.

    • Desiree

I work there and I believe they randomly print. SEEMS to be every other receipt that prints out on my register though I have not paid extreme close attention. I can tell you it has nothing to do with wellness cards. Non wellness customers get the survey as well. Also, when we had the call in surveys, they would print out nearly every receipt until we got enough callers for that week. Then they would slow down. So if the new system is like the old then your best bet MIGHT be to get in as early in the week as possible before the surveys fill up and they stop printing. I dont think there is a limit per customer that prints out at the register but Im told you can only get three coupons per month.

    • Megan Miller

I got one last Monday and then today too. Just random I guess. Used my first coupon already 🙂

  5. LaToya

Had a nightmarish RA shopping trip this morning….wouldn’t let me use 2 coupons on the BOGO Disney and Ester vitamins…yelled at me – and that is no exaggeration….I didn’t have the policy with me but told her that it is the Corporate policy….that didn’t help my case at all… Calling the manager tomorrow…and RA Corporate…

    • monica

      LaToya,

I did this once (first time too!) with nature bounty vitamins a couple weeks ago. the cashier called the manager and he wasnt sure but took my coupons. then i emailed corporate and yes, i was right. took my email on my next trip to show the manager.

if you talk to the manager and you get no result, once you talk to corporate, talk to the district manager. I’ve contacted mine for another issue with coupons too. I need to follow up to see what happened there 🙂

      good luck!

    • Lisa Marie Gouge-Leaman

So sorry that you had such a rotten experience. That was so wrong of the manager/store employee to yell at you. I hope that corporate is good to you, I’m sure they will be. I would hope you will receive a call from the person who yelled at you to apologize! Don’t be discouraged!
      Have a better day!

  6. Jessica

Awesome day as usual with my wonderful RA cashiers. I did 3 transactions but here is the total of things I bought today

    2- Comtrex
    2- Tavist
    2- Keri Lotion
    1- Doan’s
    1- Bufferin
    4- Airwick Sprays
10- King Size Candy Bars (there were plenty for everyone)
    4- Colgate Total
    2- Mentos
    1- Veet Cream
    2- Theraflu Warming Relief

    Total oop 39.52
Total money back in rebates 53.98 (and I received 2 more surveys for the month of March)
Total in ups I got back $8

    • Racquel

Isn’t the Keri lotion one per household for the SCR? Just double checking.

      • Jessica

My husband and I both have a card so I used his for one of them

        • mel

but how are you going to submit the SCR? That is limit 1 per household.

          • Krista

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve wondered if I can use my husband’s Wellness card to get two deals for UP rewards and rebates, but thought it was one per household. Collin or someone else, do you know?

            • Alicia

My guess would be, that they have two seperate addresses that they are using to be able to submit for the rebate?! Like maybe a Grandma or someone who doesn’t use the rebates doesn’t mind if they use her address? IDK

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you have to send it to a different address. I have 3 that I use all the time. you do not need to use separate cards unless there is a limit, but you do need to have another mailing addy.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

hi all, i was wondering if you can stack an in-ad q with a vv q? because there is also a 5$ off 3 vv for Dixie, or are those 2 the same coupons?

    • anon

If the coupons both start with a 48 or they both start with a 49 you cannot combine them. Per the RA policy “No more than one “48” Rite Aid Valuable coupon, one “49” Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon and one “5” Manufacturer Coupon can be used on a single item”. I believe that both of those start with a “49”.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

this is true, however they both will scan fine.

    • mandee

the deal for next week is better they will be on sale for $1.97 and after the vv coupon all 3 are $0.91

    • jc0611

you can use both. I did with no problem.

  8. Ebony

Just wanted to share with everyone. I purchased 3 Starbucks Frappuccino’s this morning here in WA. I received 6 $1 UPS. Maybe this is an unadvertied deal? Seemed like an incredible deal.

    • Brenda

did you buy 3 individual bottles or 3 4packs? Thanks I might have to try this out too!

      • Ebony

Sorry for not specifing. I purchased 3 of the 4 packs.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anyone else got bonus +UP on the Starbucks Frapp? Wanted to make sure before I go ahead and purchase. The advertised deal is lukewarm, but if like Ebony mentioned with extra +UP, it would be a hot deal!

  9. lisa

I just wanted to let you know that I bought the orville popcorn today for $1.99 and it has 2 codes in side for 2 free redbox rentals. There is also something on the back about 2 boxes and get a free soda. I will have to look inside, but none the less… 2 free redbox rentals is a great deal. Popcorn turns out free after movie rentals!!!! Happy shopping my RA friends

    • Lisa

ok, i checked and used. When you buy one box popcorn, you get two free movie rentals inside, also a $1.00 off poppycock which is $4.29 on sale for $1.99 this week plus the dollar off coupon makes it $.99. then you get another coupon inside, buy two boxes of popcorn, get a free 2 liter of pop any kind value up to 1.59. love it The box is marked on the outside for the redbox movies, you have to get that one

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay, free snickers bar. I am easily pleased. 😀

Too bad lite tuna is not very good. I may splurge for the regular one to take advantage of the monthly up.

    • Julie S.

Lite tuna might not be as good, but it does have lower mercury, which is better for pregnant or nursing women, and young children.

      • Amber

Good for making tuna casserole. Yummy.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

wait til next week as there will be a better incentive of $5up wyb $15 on the albacore PLUS it will still get the $1 up for each as this is a month long deal. HTH

  11. JaiMchl

    Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say thanks to Collin for the match-ups I had a great trip at Rite Aid today…I just had one side note; I did the king size candy deal this morning and ended paying $.30 for both of the candy the coupon for the free said up to $1.29 and in Michigan the candy rang up at $1.59 but I thought that was still good. And the same for the airwick aerosol I paid $.10 for both again coupon said up to $1.39. But I am not complaining one bit!!!!!

    • Amber

I used my .50 Reese’s vv coupon along with the B1G1 coupon.

  12. KathyO

I did 3 surveys in February and got 3 coupons. This month I did one and when I tried to do a second I got a message that said I had reached my max for this month and to come back next month. Did they change the policy from 3 to 1?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

When did you use the coupons?

I’m curious to see if they track by how many you use per month instead of tracking how many surveys you’ve done.

  13. jenny573

Does anyone know if Rite Aid has a coupon limit per transaction and/or item? I have a ton of BIGI Hershey coupons that I want to use. Thanks!

    • Ebony

I am ashamed to say that I used 36 of those coupons this morning. I had no problems.

      • Daniel West

        Way to go Ebony!

      • Amber

THat is AWESOME!!! I never count my coupons, but I’m gonna start. I often hand them a good thick stack. LOL 🙂

    • Rachel

I had about 20 and I used most of them in 1 trip with no problems.

  14. mel

Well, the tuna was already gone by time I got there. It was after 1pm when I finally got to the store and I had a feeling they would be sold out. I had the cashier write me a RC, but she said to ck back on Wednesday. Keeping my fingers crossed. Also, the Keri Lotion was not in my ad and did not ring up the sale price. That stuff is $8.49!!! Luckily I had my 10% shopping pass, made it more reasonable. All in all, I paid $1.86 (w/tax), saving $43 w/coupons/UPs and $17.45 w/Wellness Card.

    I bought –
3 Mentos, 2 Snickers, 1 Keri, 1 Curel, 1 Biore Strips, 1 Biore Wipes, 1 Tostitios, 2 Disney Gummy vitamins, 1 Colgate toothpaste.

  15. Gina S.

I just did the Biore deal… There isn’t a limit on +Ups you can receive so I did this:

    Buy
    (5) Biore strips
    (5) Biore cleansers
    $60.00
    Use
    (5) BOGO coupons 3/6 SS
    =$30 OOP
    get
    $20 +ups
    = $1 each
I rolled +ups from last week to make it cheaper OOP.

    • mel

thats a good deal! My store was very picked over this morning, I lucked out getting 1 of 2 left on the shelf of the Biore strips and the last of the makeup remover wipes. I really don’t care for their cleansers (drys my face out) so I was happy they had the wipes, otherwise I would have passed on the deal. I also used a $1/1 coupon that was in a box I bought a while back.

So make sure to ck your boxes, the one I bought today had $2 off Biore Strips AND Any other Biore Produce and $1 off any Biore product. Both exp Dec 2011.

  16. Craig

Had somewhat of a hellish exp. at RA today. Several items posted were not the same price…
    Comtrex was $5.99 not 4.99
Mineral Ice was like $10.99 not $6.99
Doans ES was $8.99 not $6.99
Tavist Allergy was around $10.99 not $6.99
Keri Lotion was $8.49 not $6.99
Cruex was like $9.99 not $6.99
Desenx was around $9.99 not $6.99

Cant recall exactly every items price since almost every item I checked was FULL price and off.
Not sure where this info came this last time, but man was it way off. Thought for sure it was just because the signs were not up yet. NOT. Had cashier scan everything listed. Had exact sizes and everything. And items like the Comtrex that were all $5.99, had them check the 3 dif. types they had.
Only things I did get that were on spot, were the Reese’s, Veet, Bumble, adn Keri.
Oh well, good thing these UP’s have a week more to go I guess.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also noticed that the Comtrex was $5.99 not 4.99. Thought I wrote my list wrong or was going crazy. 8$

      • zinkemomx2

Yeah I didn’t notice until I got home that my comtrex was 5.99 not 4.99. The only thing that saved that transaction was some colgate proclinical toothpaste that was supposed to be on sale for 2.99 with a $2 up+. At our store it was on clearance for $2.24 and it must have went towards the healthy heart promo because it printed my last $10 up+ from that promo.

I was finally eligible for my first 10% off for reaching 125 points and it printed 2 of them. The manager says that started last week. I wish I would have gotten those BEFORE I bought all the mach 3 razor blades for my husband. I also swear that I must be a saint. All the free or nearly free razors I can get and my husband refuses to use anything other than those refillable Mach 3’s. Darn things are so old you hardly ever find coupons for them and they never seem to go on sale. So thank you to RA he now has 24 of them. Normally those would have lasted him 48 weeks but on Sunday he decided to start shaving his head bald instead of just using the clippers so I am guessing they will only last 24 weeks. Sigh

        • Summer

You should tell your husband that my husband used to only use the Mach 3 razors, but I got him to try the Gillette Fusion Pro Glide (battery powered), and he fell in love! He said it was the best shave he’d ever had! : )

    • mel

seems there was a different ad in different markets. My area did not get the SCR items either and every thing was reg price too. Luckily I had my 10% shopping pass, so it made the Keri $7.49 less my $2 coupon, then submit for the SCR. Small MM.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Craig, different areas got different ads. S. CA always seems to get screwed on the deals, however with my 20% off on my card I was able to still score some of the deals like the Keri lotion (made it $6.79. If you can find someone with a 20% card you can score it still.

    • Jo-Ann

Yes, Rite Aid sales are regional. I’m in N. CA and the same here for this week’s ad. Last month some of the Boiron products weren’t sale priced, although offering the SCRs.

  17. Terry

I shop several riteaids and there are two stores that have the same prices as Collin listed and another store that is more expensive. Some of the prices are also regional . Sorry that happened to you. Thanks Collin for a WONDERFUL riteaid matchup!!!

  18. Elizabeth C.

Has anyone done the veet deal?? I am worried that I’ll go to the store and wont be able to stack the manu. w/ the in ad coupon b/c the in ad qpon states manu. qpon on it..:(

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you CAN stack but it is reported to wait until the week of 3/20 if you can as there will be another $3 in ad Q AND it will also produce a $1 UP. Better deal 😉 (BTW the coupons in ad are always MQ but they have a unique code only usuable at Riteaid so they are considered RA q’s, but the manuf. actually reimburses)

      • Elizabeth C.

thanks lolo and latoya! The thing is i was traumatized at walgreens i think a week ago on that visine deal. I tried to use an in ad Q, IVC, and manu Q and everywhere i went they kept telling me i couldnt use the IVC with the manu Q because the IVC is a manu Q and i told them how come if i can only use it there? the managers said no b/c even though it says walgreens, walgreens has made a deal with the manufacturers of that product to put walgreens on those Q’s making them manufacturer coupon exclusively for walgreens…anyways..just wanted to avoid any hassle…i plan out nicely my list and coupons together and when I am not able to match a certain thing with a coupon my whole list is out of whack and my expected OOP is thrown off and it just becomes a mad mad mess!!!!!!!..yikes.. Thanks so much for the help guys, you have no idea what it means to have such help:-)

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          Elizabeth,
sorry your wags treated you like that, but they are VERY wrong. Contact corporate about it or call the manager out… IVC coupons are reimbursable from the manufacturer, but again they are unique to WAGS only so they can (and will) stack with manufacturers coupons. MQ’s that can be used at any retailer that accepts MQ’s ALWAYS start with a 5 or 9. Also you can point out that the IVC does NOT count as a MQ in the coupon to item ratio therefore you need not have an additional item to make it work. If you still are having trouble, have the store manager (not assistant manager) contact one or both of these managers who KNOW how coupons work. 1st is Eric at the wags in Vista CA on Santa Fe (there are 2 so not sure of which address it is but need to contact Eric). Next is Jessica at the wags in Oceanside at the Cannon street store. (they can get contact info from corporate) Both these managers know coupons and know that coupons are as good as cash and that you can use both in one tranny. HTH Get to know your store managers too. This can be your best aset. Explain to them that you would shop at their store more often if they made an effort to understand coupon use and realize that it is as good as cash and equals a sale which is the business they are in..retail. be nice, and polite but firm. If it does not work at a particular store try another. I have several contacts now at several stores and life is so much easier. One of my managers will take expired coupons (within 2 weeks) as she knows she will still get reimbursed and again it is a sale!!! I now shop mostly at that store. GL

Thanks for the reply! Here is the cherry on top! Before I went to the walgreens to score that visine deal(which i didn’t in the end 🙁 ) I called the manager and told him what I wanted to do and he said it wasn’t possible. So I called corporate and asked if I could and the girl said yes you shouldnt have any issues. So i go to that walgreens and get my stuff to d the transaction and the coupons together were beeping so that manager I spoke too cameand explained again that I couldnt stack a manu, in-store cirular Q and an IVC…so I tried to have a glorious Collin moment!!! and I stepped aside, called corporate so they could speak with the manager to tell him what they told me just a few min before…and now the guy from corporate said no!!!!!!!!!!!!! making me look like a total nut that went out of their way to prove someone wrong and in turn i looked more wrong than anyone else. I explained to him that i called earlier and they said yes and that is why i went ahead and tried to do the deal even though he told me i couldnt before that. So yea… any other advice? walgreens is really upsetting me cuz they have the great thing tha they have IVC and in store ad q’s that u can stack with manu Q’s to score great deals and its just not working for me at all.

            • Amber

my advice: Don’t shop at Walgreens if you can possibly help it. They BURN you!!!!

            • Elizabeth C.

Thank goodness their deals to me aren’t that great as rite aid or cvs or i’d really go nuts. It wont be too hard to really think if what i am going for is worth it or not. they havent had anything that I couldnt go to cvs or rite aid for and get an even sweeter deal. So good advice!

    • LaToya

In spite of my cashier hassling me yesterday on BOGO stuff with BOGO coupons, she did take the 2 coupons for the Veet…so no problem. Although she may have been in a hurry to get me out of there, but, the computer didn’t beep, so it does work.

    • Julie L.

I did….i bought the gel cream sensitive $6.69 minus 10% silver status = $6.02 and used the in-ad and Internet print……so .02 cents + tax!!! wuhoo giddy giddy hehehe 😉

      • Elizabeth C.

        silver status???? whats that?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

it is a level you reach when you have spent a certain amount on your card. mine is at Gold level so I get 20% off all my orders that are not on sale. I get the 20% or the sale price whichever is higher on sale items. You have to reach certain amount of points (dollars spent ) to achieve these levels.

          • Elizabeth C.

How do you find out what status you are?

  19. Belinda

The Dove 8 bar pack Velvet Cream Oil soap is clearance for $5.99 there’s a $2.00 in store ad coupon and even sweeter I got back a $3 up final total $.99 I already had $3 in ups I used
    also and got back

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

there is also a $1 IPQ making it free, but be careful, not all of them are clearanced. you must have the right UPC. Be sure to price check first. I tried at 2 of my stores and none were clearance. 🙁

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Is the Therma Care limited to one per Wellness card? Has anyone tried buying it more than once?

Also the $3 internet coupon for Keri lotion beeped at the register, but the cashier put it through anyway, I was a bit concerned she may not put it through. Anyone else had it beep as well?

The Snickers Bar was also discounted since I have silver membership, but still got the .88 +UP. So for gold or silver members, the Snickers bar is a small MM, too bad it’s only 1 per Wellness account.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought a few of the thermacar in different stores, so it is not limited to one per wellness card.

    • Kaleena

Mine beeped but she did not push it through. But after I had her take the lotion out of my purchase I noticed it was priced at $8.49 instead of $6.99 so I’m glad it beeped.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Went ahead and bought the Therma Care a couple times at two different stores and worked without any problem.

The bonus is that since I am silver member, it was discounted from $3.99 to $3.59 and the in ad coupon still took $3.99 off. So it’s a small MM for silver and gold members! Which makes up for the taxes paid on it. 🙂

    • Penelope McGowan

I had the $2 and $3 printable keri coupons and they both beeped and the cashier wouldn’t put it threw for me. At my rite aid it depends on the cashier and my favorite wasn’t working today. 🙁 , however i went to family dollar and it beeped there too, but they put it threw so i got 2 bottles free and 2 for a dollar. they were smaller bottles but still good deals.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought 6 in one order at a couple of stores now so so far I have bought 12 and not had a problem.

    • Amber

I bought two different Keri’s. I bought one that looked like an older bottle and one that looked newer. The older one went through fine, but the newer one beeped. Can’t remember which seemed newer to me. One was black and the other was white.

  21. Daniel West

I just bought the Thermacare $3.99 pack and when the cashier scanned it a $2/1 Catalina Q printed. Made it $2 MM when you use the in-ad coupon. Grabbed a couple bags of Easter Candy Eggs with the overage!! Lovin’ Rite Aid today.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the info! Will be sure to get the cat and reuse it on other purchases. 🙂

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

bought several at 2 stores today and no cat. As I thought about it I don’t think there are any cat machines at any of my stores.

  22. tldevine

I just finished my weekly Rite-Aid trip and just wanted to let you know that there is also a video value coupon on Dixie plates ($5 off 3). Combined with the coupon in this week’s flyer, you pay only 67 cents a package!

    • Julie L.

But the in-ad coupon and the V.V. coupon are both RC49….so it can’t be combined.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I asked up front before shopping because I thought there might be an issue. They told me they could both be used and they scanned without any problems so I was able to use them together.

        • guest

I don’t understand why you would even need to ask??? Since both q’s are ’49’, that right there tells me I can’t use them together. You wouldn’t ask to use 2 manf coupons (one peelie & one insert) even though both start with a ‘5’?

          • HeidiP

I dont even know what starts “with a 49” means!!! Is this something that the average shopper would know about? Because, I have never heard of “49 coupons” Is there a place in the store that says, “do not combine coupons with a 49” I am with the original poster, I would have asked the clerk is I wasnt sure what to do, not everyone is a coupon expert and knows the rule about these “49 coupons”. If I hadnt read here about it, I never would have known, and we must remember that not everyone reads these types of forums!

      • tldevine

I thought it might be an issue so I asked the clerk before starting my shopping. I was told the video value coupon is different so I could use them together. I was able to use them both in one transaction and the system didn’t beep.

        • anon

The RA official policy prohibits this. Sometimes we have to teach our store personnel unfortunately. We wouldn’t want them to get in trouble 🙂

          • Kayla

It’s allowed. I promise you. I work at Rite Aid. Our in-ad coupons can be combined with any other kind of coupon. Everyone that works at my store says the same thing.

Now, I wouldn’t take two VV coupons for the Dixie (let’s say two from different months), but one in-ad and one VV is completely acceptable. Rite Aid very knowingly put both those coupons out there.

            • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How interesting!! So all the talk about these 49 coupons being combined is just foolishness then??? I often think that the average couponer would do better not reading all of these coupons forums, because there are so many different opinions, and some of the above posters sound certain that they are indeed right, and even a little upset that everybody wouldnt know about this magic “#49 . Anyway thanks for clearing this up.

            • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for clearing this up. I had never heard of a #49 coupon, and was surprised that a few previous posters seemed downright upset that everybody wouldnt know this critical bit of information!! Thanks again!

            • Dana

no you cant, the policy says, one 49 can be combined with a 5 starting number coupon,, the in ad and the video coupons both start with a 49 so they can NOT be used together,, it is in the rite aid policy that should be hanging at your register, if not go print it out on the portal in the managers office….. Rite aid put this policy together so you can know what coupons you can use together and this was a great way to tell which one’s can be stacked, that is why the numbers are important

    • abbner

thank you,i go through the paper plates very fast and would love to get this deal:)

  23. Mandi

My Almay coupon was for $2 off any cosmetic purchase. Can I use that for the make up remover pads in the same deal she has listed? I had planned too but now I’m second guessing myself. They are $5.50 so $11 for 3 (B2G1), minus (3) $2 MQ, plus the $2 UP and $3 SCR makes them all 3 free if that is considered a cosmetic purchase…

    • mel

the coupon in my paper shows the makeup remover pads, so Idk why your deal wouldn’t work. I’m not sure on the SCR though, if the pads are included or not.

      • Mandi

Oh well… I tried but the coupon actually beeped. Eye makeup remover pads are not cosmetic products. I did get the mascara though! 🙂

  24. jen p

Does anyone know if there is a current coupon to get a $25 gift card with prescription? I have a rx I need to move to riteaid and am hoping to get a giftcard out of the deal. Thanks!

  25. jen p

Does anyone know if there is a current coupon to get a $25 gift card with prescription? I have a rx I need to move to riteaid and am hoping to get a giftcard out of the deal. Thanks!

    • Katie

My Rite Aid pharmacy said that they are trying to do away with the gift cards, and I haven’t seen a coupon for one since!!

    • ROSE

I got one in december from cvs. not sure if they still offering the deal.

  26. Colleen

The concentrated similac also has a $2.00 SCR, limit 4. A good deal is to buy 3 at $9.99 (my store is $10.49, but $9.44 with my 10% discount). Use the $10.00 off three coupon on the bottles, plus three of the $2.00 in ad coupon (my store allows this but not sure all do), brings total down to $12.32. Then get $6.00 SCR, so each bottle is $2.11.

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Has anyone been able to find the socks for free? the ones I found were priced $6.99 for a two pack. If you did find them where???

    • Jo Ann

I seen some of the Kushy Foot? ones on the same isle with the travel size items. They were $3.99 at my store, but that was last week. They might be the ones on sale this week. Try that area if your not finding them with the other Kushy Foot socks. HTH!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

the last time they had a vvq for this item, (.99 ones) I could only find 2 pairs at one store out of at least 5 and they were in a rounder near the front of the store. I have never seen them again.

    • Dana

those socks were a special over the summer and are no longer in stores (the $1 ones)

  28. Melissa

Is anyone else having trouble watching the RA videos? None of them are “available” to watch…? I’ve never had this problem.

  29. audrey

Jesse’s girls nail polish in some stores is 75% off so .74 and printing $2 Ups when you buy 2!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

found at 2 stores today and all of the colors were clearances even though not all were marked. bought about 18 between two stores. beware only the old style bottles are on clearance. The new style are not. (price check first)

  30. Jenna

SO excited! On Sunday I found 3 clearanced Almay eyeshadows. Thought for sure they’d be all gone now. The rang up $1.60 each, the cashier let me use (3) $2/1 Almay coupons. (I pointed out the value but she didn’t adjust down). I received $2 ups AND confirmed $3 SCR!!! Woo-hoo! $6.20 MM 🙂 I love Rite Aid.

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The king size candy bars that are b1g1 free are not completely free the coupon has a $1.29 limit on it but .30 cents for 2 candys are still a great buy. I had 10 coupons for them. so I am stocked on candy for awhile, lol

    • Amber

Use the .50 video value coupon for ANY REese’s and they’ll be completely free.

  32. Heather

I didn’t see a Kleenex deal in your matchups, but they are B1G1 free this week. I used the B3G1 free coupon (exp. 4/10- can’t remember which it was in, RP or SS from a while back). This basically made it B1G3 free. ; ) Then I used the $1/2 VV coupon. I got 4 big boxes of Kleenex for 1.49! Pretty good deal, especially with all the colds going on in my house!

  33. Barb

There is also a $5.00 off 3 Dixie paper plates video value. So with the in-ad coupon that makes them $1.97 for three

  34. Valerie

Anyone find this at their stores?
Full Line of Kushy Foot Hosiery $2 Off with in-ad coupon
Buy 2 Kushy Foot Foot Covers $1 each (usually located in the front of the store)
    Use the $2/1 in-ad coupon
    Final Cost FREE!

Wasn’t able to find in CT Rite Aid. Not located in the front or on the aisle. Can someone describe the product?

    • Dana

those were a special item during the summer,, they are gone from the stores now

  35. tina

BOGO King Size candy coupon from 1/30 SS has max value of $1.29 printed on it; so, combined with the BOGO sale oop will be $.30 for 2–still a good deal

    • Jill

FYI on the BOGO King size candy coupon… not only does it only have a value of $1.29, but the King size minis are NOT part of RA’s BOGO sale. So doesn’t actually work. (I bought them anyway since I was already there… if I’d thought of it I probably could have picked up another King size candy bar as the RA freebie, and also used the coupon… but didn’t do that. So $1.30 for 2; not a fabulous deal (but yummy! ;).

Also, if anyone plans to use the AirWick BOGO sale, that coupon has a max value of $1.39 on it, and they sell for $1.69 at our store. While $.30 for two AirWick sprays is still a GREAT deal, but I did want to point it out for anyone expecting to get it for free. 🙂

      • HeidiP

the king size minis WERE part of the BOGO sale at my stores!

        • Amber

and with the .50 vv coupon for any reese’s product they are FREE.

        • Amber

Hey everyone. If you want the Reese’s to be free, use the Reese’s .50 vv coupon. 🙂

  36. Bridgette

Does anyone have the Theraflu rebate form that they are not using? I would like to purchase this but would like to submit for the rebate but of course I did not clip that part of the paper. UGH

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i purchased 5 NYC products and only got 2 $1 up reward. when i asked the chasier sje said u get one per offer (as buy 1 get 50 % is one offer) ?????????? is that true???

    • Nicole F

      I bought 4 and got 4 UPS.

  38. Samantha Booker

My store only had 2 cans of the chunk light tuna and I only received one +Up. Tried with 2 cans at another store and still only got one +Up. Feeling bad, b/c I asked the mgr to order extra for next week, but I may change my mind if I am only getting half the +Ups I expected. Any advice???

Also, just a small rant (!)– my local stores are only getting a truck every 2 wks and it can be really difficult to get some of these deals especially when other couponers are waiting at the door first thing Sun. morning to stock up. I hate to ask them to write so many rainchecks, but maybe they will go back to weekly deliveries soon.

    • Jo-Ann

The same thing happened to me today when I bought 4 cans of chunk light. So the cashier checked the shelf and saw the $1 Up tag and spoke to the mgr. about it; the mgr. said $1 Up per transaction, even though the sale is buy 1 get 1 50% off. So the cashier wondered if I could return 2 and buy it again to get another Up, but the mgr. said that wouldn’t work–so I returned 2 cans. Odd thing is that at another RA earlier in the week, I bought 4 cans and received 4 Ups.

      • Samantha Booker

I just read on another blog that the monthly food +Up rewards are now limited to ONE per household for the entire month!!! Obviously, earlier in the week, this was not the case, but my understanding is now that I have gotten my $1 +Up that I will not receive any more on food items in March. Wow.

        • Jo-Ann

Thanks for clearing this up–not so sure I like the changes happening . . .

          • Samantha Booker

Sure. I do see where people buy a ton of things and wipe the stores out when the things were free after rewards to begin with. I agree with other comments I have read elsewhere that if they are going to impose limits that it would be better for everyone concerned if they could do this up front rather than changing the rules mid-week or so.

The program is relatively new, so hopefully they will get any kinks out and things will be more consistent in the future. I have loved the unlimited +Ups even though I have consideration for other customers, but I am also fine with a limit ( like CVS)…. it is just the back and forth that seems to cause so much confusion.

            • Kayla

We got a message yesterday telling us to remove the $1 up from the tuna and sardines. So they aren’t producings ups at all anymore.

            • Jo-Ann

I’m fine with whatever rules stores want to implement. Yes, I agree that clear rules instead of changing ones mid-week is leading to the confusion & frustration. Right now Rite Aid doesn’t seem to have a firm store reward concept, what with Video Values, SCR’s, Ups, survey coupons, etc.

  39. Amber

If you go to Rite Aid’s FB page people are commenting that they are putting a limit of 1 up on the monthly food ups!!! Has anyone been able to get more than one up per food item since yesterday? Sounds like it started yesterday.

  40. Amber

If you go to Rite Aid’s FB page people are commenting that they are putting a limit of 1 up on the monthly food ups!!! Has anyone been able to get more than one up per food item since yesterday?

    • nati

today I bought 10 sardines, and I got only one up reward! Annoying!

  41. Nicole F

Wanted to share the AMAZING deal I scored at Rite Aid today. I bought: 2 NYC Liquid Lip Shine $1.99 reg and 2 NYC Eye Duet Liners $1.99 reg for a $4.04 MM! The Liquid Lip Shine rang up for $0.49e instead of $1.99 & $0.99!!! I didn’t notice until I got home and was looking at my receipt. The eye liner rang up $1.99 and $0.99 as expected with the BOGO 50% off. And all four printed the $1 UPS! I did use the $1/1 NYC cosmetic coupons from the March All You. So I ended up with $0.04 in overage from the coupons. I am not sure that is “legal” but honestly didn’t know the lip gloss rang up at $0.49!
    So here’s the deal:
Buy 2 NYC Liquid Lip Gloss (Reg $1.99/ Rang up $0.49e) $0.98
Buy 2 NYC Duet Eye Liner (Reg $1.99, one rings up 1/2 off) $2.98
Use 2 $1/1 NYC Lip Product found in March All You (Or one? Or not at all?)
Use 2 $1/1 NYC Eye Product from March All You
    Total = $0.04 overage PLUS
    GET 4 $1 UPS
    = $4.04 MM

  42. Nicole F
  43. Veronica

With all the Nature Made Vitamins that most have purchased last week and this week, don’t forget to go to NatureMade’s website and put the codes in. You can score free stuff on the website. Just a FYI.

  44. ALJEWELS

Check out the 75% off clearenced makeup with buy 1 get 50% off with add’l up’s printing for the makeup.

  45. audrey

Any body hear bout the new policy I have read on some blogs regarding only 1 monthly deal per household?

  46. Joan Southwick(Jafra Lady!)

I got a great deal at Rite Aid today. I bought
    4 – Snackerz singles
1 – NO nonsense panty hose
1 – Thermacare back care product
    2 – Reese’s 8 pack eggs
    2 – Clyde sardines
I was able to use $14.49 in coupons, including the Thermacare $3.99 in the ad, wellness savings of $7.71,,, Total Out of Pocket was $1.19. $.53 of which was tax
I received another $3.00 in +Up rewards and my receipt had another $3.00/$15.00 survey attached. I think they paid me almost $6.00 to shop today!
Nothing like a bag of FREE!
I already did the toilet paper and paper towel deals yesterday when I got my prescriptions filled,, spent $20.00 yesterday, for about $40.00 worth of products. I qualified for the $3.00 survey and used that as a coupon today.

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Has anyone noticed how they changed the Dixie plate video from feb is now only $3 instead of $5 and it now expires 2/26 when the other feb videos expire march 26th. What is going on with rite aid lately? I can’t stand the new video site. Why would it let you print a video coupon that is expired? It’s like how they changed the fish oil video, stopped doing $5/$25 and now limit monthly food ups to 1 item/month. Really, rite aid? Way to push away the customers that rack up your sales week after week.

  48. Telisa

Heads up on major clearance items around TN! I found select Garnier shampoo+conditioner and Herbal Essence shampoo+conditioner on clearance for $1.12. After using $1/1 coupon they were $0.12 each! Veet shower hair removal systems were also on clearance for $4.49 so free + money maker after coupons.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

FYI just got back from Rite Aid to discover three of my UPS from the Betty Crockers deal actually expired on Feb 26. They were printed first on a really long receipt with a whole bunch of food item ups that didn’t expire until March 15,. So if you have ups from the Betty Crockers deal check your receipt . I had also checked but would only look on the bottom and those were a different date than the ones on top. I have never had that happen with ups before. Kinda a ripoff. First time mine expired and those Betty Crocker were hard won ones too. Bummer.

  49. Jenni

I’m getting a little annoyed with Rite Aid. Twice they have advertised a sale for specific products, but the two Rite Aids I go to have not carried the items. It happened with the L’oreal Youth code set and Veet. There was a Veet coupon in their ad and I had a ManQ to go with it. Has anyone else had this problem, or is it just my area? It’s like they don’t read their own ads.

  50. Cinna

I purchased the buy 1 Get 1 50% Off reading glasses but only got 1 $5 up I thought it was suppose to be 2. Do you think I should question this.

    • Kayla

This is a little late, but you were only supposed to get one.

The store should have pulled bad signage. The wording on the signs insinuates that you get two, but it means you get a $5 if you do the whole BOGO deal, not $5 each. I think it’s worded kind of correctly, but just super confusing. We were supposed to pull them.
