I just returned from Target and Rimmel mascara was $2.99 at my store. I don’t have a smartphone, so I couldn’t use the Target mobile coupon, so I pd. $.99 each, using 2 manufacturer coupons for $2 off each one.
Keep in mind that each Target is different. I went in with a bunch of coupons for free things, but my Target didn’t have the things I wanted to get to qualify for the coupons. ;-( At least I got cheap mascara!
I did the exact same thing on Friday—got 2 mascaras for $.99 each! I was looking for the Halo Sleepsacks on clearance,but they didn’t have them at my store 🙂
Watch out when you use your mobile coupons. Today I tried to use it to get the $5 off denim and since the pants I bought were Merona it took the 20% off instead. The cashier and manager couldn’t figure out why it only took of $2.50 instead of the $5 and ended up just punching in another $2.50 off. When the receipt printed we could finally tell that the reason was because it took the 20% off instead of the $5.00 off.
ARGHGHGHGH…sometimes I feel like I’m the ONLY one without a cellphone – would love to be able to take advantage of these coupons! It’s not fair 🙁

you have to sign up for mobile texts. If you sign up today, you probably won’t get this weeks coupons. I signed up a few weeks ago and got my first set of coupons last Saturday.

Check your clearance bins in the makeup dept… I got Rimmel mascara for 1.58 yesterday and used the 2.00 coupon!
Also found clearance U by Kotex liners for .58 and used a 1.00 coupon.
Clearance bins rock at Target! I found Cover Girl foundation for $1.58- and used a $1/1 q! 😉
I have an iphone 3gs! My sister gave it to me when she upgraded to the iphone 4. I use to for music (ipod), and the wifi. Do you guys know if I can use the mobile coupons even though there is no service on it? Thank you for any help 🙂
you need internet service in order to receive the mobile coupons.
Target sends a text message with the link to the coupons. So you can’t get them if you don’t have service on the phone. Sorry. 🙁
Yes. You have to have wifi but the phone doesn’t have to be activated. You can download a read it later app and put the coupons there so when you go to the store you can use them.
It says if you sign up today that it will take 1-2 weeks to get your first coupons. Is there any way to get them today? I REALLY want the $5 denim one! I just bought a pair of jeans this week and they had TONS left- I KNOW I could get a free pair with the coupon! Also do you have to have a smart phone or just be able to receive text messages?
I got some of the jean coupons off of Ebay. I paid about $3 to have them shipped. I would look into it because I got 10 or 15 of them for that price…just bring someone with you and you can use 2 per person. 🙂 hope this helps..you have to have a smart phone too. i get their text messages and its so depressing to be told they expire when i cant even use them lol. they have to scan the barcode sent to your phone…good luck!
if they can’t scan the bar code, all they have to do is type in the numbers under it. I have a ‘smart’ phone, but they can never get the darn bar code to scan from my phone, so I call out the # while they type it in.
Mine doesn’t have numbers at the bottom. No picture either. Just text. I think you need a smart phone. Regular phones only have so many letters before it cuts off the message. Atleast mine does…
ahhh…ok. Mine has that square thingy when I open the text, underneath are the numbers.

Not familiar with Target Mobile Coupons?
Mobile coupons are Target Store Qs that can be sent to your phone to be used for in-store purchases. These coupons are meant to be used only once but can be stacked with MQs. The terms read “Limit one item or offer per coupon”. If you want to sign up to receive them you can do so HERE. You will need to have an internet-capable phone in order to retrieve the coupons. Keep in mind- text messaging & data charges will apply depending upon your phone’s plan.
i was going to target today for the purex 3 in one detergent and just when i parked i recieved the coupons on my cell, i price checked the purex and they were 3.48 so with the $3 off coupon just .48 cents i bought 6 , a pair of jeans and a seventh generation dish soap for $3.86!
So excited to have the $5.00 jeans! I scored 2 free last week and now get 1 more!! Thank you! !!!!!!!
I’m not sure how long this is going on, but my store had the new Dr. Pepper 10 soda in the 2-liter bottles on sale for $1. Many of them had hanging coupons for 55 cents off, making them only 45 cents for a 2 liter bottle. I haven’t tried it yet but for the price I’ll take it! I’m hoping they’re still on sale this coming week so I can check another store.

I get the coupons on my phone via text message so probably not.
I signed up for the mobile coupons awhile ago but there was never one I wanted to use until now. I get them as a text and then it had a link for where to go. I typed them into my computer (my phone doesn’t have internet) and a page came up with the coupons and a barcode. Does anyone know if I can just print that out and take that paper in or does it HAVE to be on your phone?

Diane- each link they send out is different and coded for the device it gets sent to. It all links to a single bar code and only allows one use of each coupon per link. So if Jessica were to send you her link, if she has already used any of the coupons, you wouldn’t be able to use those as well. (Example- she used the $5 denim one- it wouldn’t work again on another transaction)

Yes, you open up a browser window from the link they text you. They scan the barcode from your phone screen..like a picture.
