Does anyone know if I can use my money from my staples rewards to buy these deals? I wasn’t sure if there were restrictions with my rewards. I have $30 and this week seems like a great week to use it up : )

    • Hip2SaveReader

I was wondering the same thing. If anyone knows let me know. Thanks:)

      • Jenny

I would be careful about doing that. As a staples premier customer we had a problem with this at work. Ours deducted the rewards that we paid with evenly throughout the transaction and we got a rebate for the difference once the rewards we paid with were taken off. I called staples and they sent a check for the difference just this once since we werent aware. HTH!

    • amy

Yes. I asked the same question when I had reward money a couple months ago and did get the rebate. As long as nothing has changed since then, the answer was yes, you can use rewards to purchase an item and get the rebate. You would not be able to use rewards if the item you were purchasing offered Staples rewards as the offer, but the rebate is a cash back offer and will work! I plan to do it again today!!! Hope this helps! 🙂

    • Yolanda

Yes, the rewards can be spent like cash. I’m using my $20 check today

how do you do the easy rebates? do you buy the product for the full price first??

    • Karen

yes….they really are “easy”….just follow the instructions on your receipt and online. You need to be a Staples rewards member, which is free.

  3. MichelleM

Can someone please explain the Easy Rebate for me?? Is it an instant rebate you get at purchase or is it a rebate check (like store money check or a real check I can cash??)) Thanks in advance 🙂 I need some paper for my coupons, lol

    • Jenn

I just looked it up…. It’s equivalent to a mail in rebate, but you can submit it online, making it “easy”

      From stapleseasyrebates.com:
How will my rebate arrive? Either as a Rebate Visa Prepaid Card or a check, within 4-6 weeks of submitting your rebate request.

      • MichelleM

        Awesome, thanks 🙂

    • Lizzel

I just did their Easy Rebate online this past week. It is EASY! I was able to select payment to my PayPal account instead of a paper check (it will come quicker). I’m hoping Office Depot catches on and will start doing the same thing. I love Staples online rebate process (saves me a stamp and I get to keep the original paperwork, thus saving me time from having to scan my paperwork so I have a copy on hand too).

Even better! I have a $5 off $10 rebate from offermatic! Thanks to you Collin!

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I printed a $10/50 coupon from recyclebank, just got back from staples, things are going fast! After rebate it will be a $6mm, love staples!

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Wanted to add my scenario:
    1 pentel $2
    2 paperclips $4
    2 hp photopaper $17.98
    2 copy paper $11.98
    2 envelopes $10
$4 filler (i got duster for my comp.)
    =$50
    -10
    =$40
    Get back $45.96
    $5.96 mm!

    • Lizzel

      Sweet! That’s awesome!

      • Miriam

Thanks for the idea! I just joined recyclebank, got 60 points from a short video and dumb game. Then redeemed that Staples coupon for 50 points. (I had to call them though because it wanted 75 points although the main page showed it was going for 50 pts.) Thanks!

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Do you have to have a coupon for the highlighters and fine tip markers?? thank you

  8. Janice

Thanks for this list, I print it and highlight what I want – makes things so easy – thank you Collin!

  9. M

Does anyone know if I can use the $10 off $50 from RecycleBank AND my Staples Rewards?? Thanks!

    • Lizzel

Your Staples Rewards is like cash, yes, you can use the $10 off $50, then pay with your rewards.

  10. melissa

A while back they had a really good sale on water bottles… Have they done that since? I need 150 bottle for my sons school for March 18 any ideas on how to get a good deal???

  11. Mitch

I only use these security envelopes!
I am also waiting for an ink deal where the recycles go up to $5 when you buy a certain amount of ink
    I am saving my cartridges!
    thanks

There’s a recyclebank coupon for 10 off of 50- can I use that and still get the rebates?

  13. Shannon

Ugh! I wish we had staples here. Does anyone know any hot deals like these offered at OfficeMax?

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i went to my staples today to try and get the fine tip markers and highlighter deals and they said they are not offering any items like that on sale this week ? So is it only certain stores?

  15. Peach

My Staples honors the Office Depot coupons ($10 off $50) as a price match.
I’m not sure if there is one that hasn’t expired.

  16. Candice

Does anyone know if you can buy the products online and still get the easy rebate?

  17. Kiesha

The 50% off binder in ad coupon must be regional, it isn’t in my ad. Bummer, I need a new binder!

    • ROSE

I was just at our Staples and the cashier said the coupon was not in our ad but we can get in on-line.. going looking for it now.
