Can someone please tell me where do I get the in ad coupon? I’m so confused! I thought it was the little coupon book… I can’t seem to find it!!! Thank you girlssss

    • Nicole

You can find it in the Walgreens circular that comes out in the weekend paper. They have them in the store, so you can just grab a copy and find it in there. 🙂

      • Faye

        Ohhh thank you so much!!!!!!

        • Lpmousse

Page 13. I looked last week for it in the booklet too.

    • Maria T.

It is on the bottom of page 13 of the weekly circular. If you don’t have access to the printed weekly ad you can either print the coupon from the online weekly circular or ask your cashier to just hand key in the coupon code of 1424. 🙂

      • Faye

I knew that I could count on you girls!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! 😉

  2. Melissa Guy

Awesome!!! Thanks! Got some cheap with the $3/2 yesterday! Now I can score a couple for free!

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you! Just posted this and linked back… =)

  4. Amanda

Just have a quick coupon question. If I have a coupon that is printed out at Walgreens can it be stacked with a manufacture’s coupon or not? The coupon I found in ad was in their salespaper, not the coupon booklet.

    • bellabimba

Yes you can stack manufacture coupon with in ad coupon 😀

  5. Laura B

Speaking from experience on this deal, you may wanna bring a copy of that coupon policy with you! I bought 2 bottles priced at $5.99 and used the circular and the $3/2 and had BIG problems trying to get them to accept my coupons. The manager at my store said he had never seen a coupon policy and insisted that they could not adjust a coupon down…

    • jareds_butterfly

Wow, a mgr who has never seen their own coupon policy? That’s been out for 6 months now! They might want to get on the ball.

      • Laura B

He also kept telling me that “the store paid for that pediacare and I could not just leave with it for free” LOL! Obviously he is not a hip2save reader!

        • Yolanda

try and buy other things with the transaction, that way if there is an overage it goes to the other things that you are buying. And always give the magnufacturer coupon first and then the in ad or walgreens coupon and then rr’s. That’s what I do and when I need a filler I usually buy the ramen noodles because one time I tried to buy an item with the in ad coupon the register did not wanted to take my rr so I always buy things that I don’t need an in ad for a filler!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

By the way, in San Francisco, the coupon for this deal does not exist. I suggest folks to grab an ad from a Walgreens outside of the city. Also, none of the stores I’ve been to so far (I went to a couple) were willing to adjust the coupon (aka it couldn’t be free).

    • Ashley

Wow That Manager needs to learn his job. He dosnt need that job if he thinks we cant take it out for free!!! lol I hate it when a cashier looks at me and says that, I will not leave to store until I do!!! lol

      • Rachael

I had the same thing happen to me, and the manager told me he has never read their coupon policy.

    • Emily

I did that same deal today and didnt have any problems. I was pleasantly surprised. I used the walgreens coupon first, which took of $10 then did the manufacturer coupon…not sure if this made a difference.

    • lisa

Yes, I too had a problem yesterday. Bought 2 pedia care infant, 6.29 used 2 2.00 off,
plus stacked with the $ 5 off in ad, (took off 10.00) and the mgr said I couldnt use both of the mani coupons, because it was coupon fraud. So I didn’t get any. I had done the deal at a different Wags the on Sunday with no problem. Weird.

  6. debra

Wow, I can’t believe they released another one! I’ve got 12 bottles of this stuff. I guess I will be picking up 4 more! Plan on throwing some in baby shower baskets and sharing with friends. My store has a ton of it Sunday. Shocking, I know. lol

  7. kim

well my store has the child kind for 9.99 and the infant kind at 7.49. still cheap but not free.

    • Corina

Isn’t it amazing how these items can be priced differently in the same stores? When I can’t find the sales item in my closest Walgreen’s store, I usually try another one, but I have found out that the second store has items priced much higher, so a lot of deals I read where you can get it free with coupons, just won’t work.

    • Lpmousse

That may be for the 1 oz. size, not the 1/2 oz. size. I made that mistake earlier today, and knew that I had made a mistake, because I had to pay money for it. Hahahah! I returned them, and bought the 1/2 oz. sizes.

I’m going to put some in baby shower baskets too, and give some to a busy mom friend who doesn’t usually have time to get out and coupon.

  8. bellabimba

I bought 4 today! I paid $0.49 each and I’m gonna pick up some more. 😀 thanks for the head ups!!!

  9. Jenny

I bought 2 today, using the $5 coupon from the circular flyer, and the $3 off 2 manufacturer coupon. The cashier looks at them and says “you have a $5 off *AND* a $3 off”. I simply said “yes”. She kinda shakes her head and says….”well how am I gonna do this?”. She didn’t argue with me, and she finally did it….but she wasn’t happy about it! I’ve never had problems at my Walgreens before….but I’ve never gotten anything this close to free either (0.49 each)

    • Bev

When is Walgreen’s going to install those “self-checkouts” so we don’t have to deal with difficult cashiers?!!

      • Sarah

        LIKE!

      • Rebekah

I lived in Chicago until about 2 months ago and a few of the stores in the city actually had self checkouts!!!! However they seemed to hate coupons as they would always freeze up and someone would have to come over and void the transaction and take me to the counter. So they do exist in some walgreens but they aren’t much help 🙂

        • cathy

Walgreens in the Chicago land area are big store. The one by my mother has three aisles of camera and photo supplies. it’s own six aisle liqier store with two large frigs units. four aisles of food with two freezers and two large frigs. It’s three times the size of any of the stores where I’m at in Michigan.

      • Corrine

My Walgreens in WI has self Checkouts!

  10. Amy

My store had PediaCare Infants’ Fever Reducer / Pain Reliever Drops With Acetaminophen .5 ounce for $5.99…making it 99 cents after $5 off coupon. So using the printable coupons makes them better than free.

Just a heads up…make sure you choose the .5 oz instead of the 1 oz size which is closer to around $9.99…the packages look almost exactly the same except for the size written on it. I accidentally picked the more expensive one and will be returning it for cheaper smaller size.

    • Rebekah

i did the same darn thing tonight 🙂 picked up a .5 oz and the one behind it assuming they were the same…..nope 🙂

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        me too! Argh!

  11. Mitch

Is there any way to print the in-ad coupon from the Internet?
I don’t go to page 13 in my NYC Walgreen’s brochure.
    thanks
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

  12. Stacey

We dont get in ad Q’s they get deducted by using my card but it says limit 3? does that mean per trans? or all week? Thanks in advance

    • zinkemomx2

that should be limit 3 per transaction

    • Annette

Stacy- I live in a rewards card test area and I didn’t even see the limit today when I bought 4 of them. The 5.00 came off all 4 of them without issues, I didn’t realize they put a limit, but the register didn’t have any problems with buying more.

  13. chosenvero

I dont have kids, but I was able to get them for free to give to a new mom I know!

  14. amanda

I bought 3 bottles of the infant for 5.99 and only paid 3 dollars for the whole thing and it printed me out a 1.50 off any 1 pediacare. So am going in tomarrow and getting 3 more for only 50 cents!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got the same coupon and got 3 more bottles for free! 🙂

  15. Priscilla

I just got back from using my $3/2 coupon… $1.11 total with tax for 2 ordinate childrens products… Gonna have to go back tomorrow with the $2/1 coupons 🙂

  16. Joy

question? If I use these new $2/1 coupons and buy 2 products and use the in-ad coupon will it take $10 off ($5 each) in the same transaction? I’m new to Walgreens.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

correct! The in-ad coupon will deduct $5 for each one you buy. Awesome deal 🙂

    • Bee

      It should.

I definitely think that if these transactions are going to create overage, throw in another item to avoid a headache, LOL.

    • Julie

Yes! 1 in-ad coupon at Walgreens applies to all/most of their items. The in-ad coupon is printed as limit of 3, but it has worked for 4 items for me yesterday and today!

      • Joy

        Thanks!

    • Joy

Thanks momof3divas and Bee!!! Couponers are so nice and helpful!

  17. Vie

i’m still wondering about this…on the manufacturer’s coupon, they say limit one coupon per item purchased, does it mean I can’t use the walgreens one for the same item? Sorry I’m new to coupons and still afraid of difficult cashiers…

    • Janine

At walgreens you can use a manufactures coupon with a walgreen in-ad coupon.

    • mel

yes you can b/c walgreens in-ad coupons are like getting sale prices at stores that have loyalty cards, like CVS & Rite Aid.
one coupon per item purchased just means that you can’t go through the ck out lane with 4 items and have the cashier scan 1 coupon 4 times, you would need 4 individual coupons.

    • cathy

what the manufactures is saying in the statement is that you can’t use six of their $1 of coupons to buy one product.

  18. Stefany

I got the pedia care at my Wags yesterday for $6.99 each and used the in ad coupon with the $3 off 2 coupon. In the end I paid $1 for 2 of them… $0.98 to be exact. Not as good as free, but I was still happy with it! 🙂

  19. Vie

Thank you! I have one more question. We just can print out the limitation of 2 coupons for the same item from coupons.com?

    • fran

      Yes, correct 🙂

    • Anonymous

Yes, 2 per computer/pc for this coupons and most of the coupon. Very rarely the print limit will be on. But if you have additional pc/computer in your home…you can 2 on each!

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Thanks!!!!!!

  21. Maria R.

I work for Walgreens and I wanted you all to know the $5 in Ad coupon also works on the Infant Gas Relief Drops.

    • Joy

      Great! Thanks!!

    • cara

Thanks, I read the Walgreens coupon and didn’t see the gas drops listed so I was sad! But, now I might have to head on back!

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have a couple of amazon codes if anyone wants them. 🙂 I know this isn’t the place but I don’t know where else to put it.

    • Amanda

I would love some codes if you would email them to me- ask081906 at gmail dot com
      Thanks!

    • debra

If you still have an amazon code I could really use it. debra32@yahoo(dot)com. Thanks

    • Summer

I would LOVE one if you have one to share!

      TIA!

      srpp76@gmail.com

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’d love one…I’m down to my last box of diapers and I can’t find the magazines with the Qs anywhere in my town!! Thanks for offering! jenmarin04 (at) hotmail.com

  23. Crystal

Off topic, I have a $10 off amazon code I would like to trade for one or two 20 percent off codes. Email me, cmmj_1984@live.com

  24. Jennifer

Does anyone know if Wags is out of the Pediacare can I get a raincheck on this kind of “sale” with the $5 off in-ad coupon?? Didn’t know how that worked…I’ve gotten rainchecks when the ad just said something was on sale for $XX. Thanks!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have before and they attached the in-ad coupon to my rain check. HTH!!!

    • Miriam

Yes, the raincheck will actually give you the price you want. Just make sure that the sale price is $5 less than retail. The downside is that they will really limit you to 3 in that case when you could have otherwise gotten a few more. Walgreens is the worst of the three drugstores for Rainchecks but that’s because they do nothing to figure the RR into the rainchecks.

    • cathy

Ask the manager when their next truck is coming in and see if he will hold some for you.

  25. Holly

I got my Pediacare tonight for free! My Wags also had Burt’s Bees products on clearance cheap! 1.99 for body wash. I also found Olay face wash for 1.99 and I had a “buy a face wash get a body wash free” coupon! Woohoo! I got about $120 retail for less than $10 oop! I’m new to “modern day couponing” so I’m loving this! When I get home I squeal and do a little dance. Thanks for helping me Collin!

    • Lpmousse

Congratulations! I also love to save money, and get things for free or almost free. Keep up the good work!

  26. april

super off topic but my mom did the prilosec rebate deal and did not read the FINE print to send in the actual UPC symbols from the boxes of 42 priolosec so even with the receipt they are declining her rebate BUT if we can get two UPC codes from the boxes by the 31st of this month we can resubmitt…does anyone have two UPC codes from 42 count prilosec boxes they would be willing to mail me…we would REALLY appreciate it!!

  27. Abby

having those small bottles of aceteminophen are great for your purse and diaper bag. More than once I’ve been out and one of my kids started feeling a little too warm or have injured themselves and it’s great to have on hand.

An FYI to those out there without children who may be taking advantage of this deal for a gift … the “Cold”, “Cold and Cough” and allergy stuff (like benedryl) are for 4 & 6+ yrs kids, so stick with the infant drops which are just baby tylenol, that can be given to most babies.

  28. Christie

I bought two Pediacare infant drops at $5.99 each today. I used a $3/2 coupon first, and then I used the $5/1 in-ad coupon from Walgreens. It didn’t create any problem at the register. It did give me approximately $1 overage that I used towards other items in that one “purchase”.

  29. babyrn

Where are the infant drop located in the store? Are they in the baby section? I totally forgot to check and I have a 1 and 3 year old, so these will come in very handy! I just looked at the pedicare for kids and it was priced at 7.99 and is for older kids, so I didn’t want to stock up and have it expire! Also, is everyone finding the infant drops for 5.99 or does the price vary? TIA!

    • Joy

I found these in the Cold Section NOT the children’s section. At the 2 stores I went to they were $5.99, but make sure the package says .5 ozs.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I paid 5.99 at one store and 6.29 at another store for the same 0.5 oz Infant drops. They were still free with the stacked coupons. And, the expiration date is 8/2013, so plenty of time to use them! Good Luck!!

      • babyrn
      • babyrn

Thanks very much for the info. I appreciate it! 🙂 Now, hopefully I can find some!

    • Dash

Mine were 5.99 and in the ‘pain relief’ section.

  30. Emily

If anyone has Amazon codes that they’re not using may I have them? It would help me out greatly. If you want to try to trade something or if you just don’t have a need for them and don’t mind letting me have them email me at strap82@yahoo.com

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They cost $7.99 each at my Wags. So no “Free” deal.

  32. debra

There is also a $1 off any pediacare coupon (bricks) at pediacare(dot)com. This would still make the infant drops free.

  33. Summer

BTW, I tried the Banana Boat/Schick deal and only one RR printed (just the $3), not the $5 as well…..bummer

  34. Lesli

only worked on the Cherry Flavor for me. Grape did not work with in ad coupon

    • debra

That is so strange as it worked on both for me. I bought 2 of each flavor with no problem. Sorry you had an issue. I don’t understand the differences in the stores. It should be the same across the board but thats just my opinion.

  35. Dawnbi

If I have 4 of the $2 off Pediacare MC and I use the $5 WGC, would that mean that I would have $4 overage? Do they accept overage as long as I use my MC first and then my WGC? I am planning two transactions this time and am counting on the overage to help lower my OOP. I am still trying to figure out Walgreens and CVS. It seems that every time I think I understand it, I hit a snag at the checkout and wind up trying to change my plan on the spot. Thanks!

    • Felicia

I’m in the same boat! I stopped going to walgreens for a month because everytime I was supposed to get a RR it didn’t print, or it only worked at certian stores.CVS doesn’t seem to have as many good deals where I am at, but our Rite Aid is awesome and I keep earning extra rewards for doing little things like watching videos.

  37. Melissa

Hi I need to trade a YT code for YJ codes please email me ASAP if you want to trade. 4kiddos08@livedotcom.

  38. Sarah

I am new to couponing and wanted to share my experiences from shopping at Walgreens yesterday. I love this site and was able to score some great deals. I purchased the pediacare, $10 worth of febreeze, softsoap, dawn, ajax, toothpaste, toothbrush, broadway nails, pads, Etc. I had about $60-70 worth of merchandise. The first time I checked out some of my coupons did not scan, I knew something was off b/c my OOP was higher than I expected. I asked the cashier and she said they all scanned. Well when I got my receipt and checked there was $7 worth of coupons that had not scanned. I went back to the register and she pulled out all of my coupons from the drawer and checked them all off my receipt and I was right. She refunded my purchase and rerang it. After coupons and RR from last week, I paid $8.43 for $60-70 worth of stuff. Plus I have $12 in new RR for next week. So that was the good part of my day!!!! Now for the bad. After shopping at Walgreens, I ran into Wal-mart to use the last of my $3/1 Gain coupons. I came back out to find that everything I had purchased at Walgreens had been stolen from my van. I am 38 weeks pregnant and had my 2YO daughter with me…so in my rush/pregnancy induced forgetfulness I did not lock my doors. I was only in Wal-mart for 15-20 minutes. I called the police and filled out a report, but was told there was not much they could do b/c the cameras outside of this particular Wal-mart only record the first 7-8 rows of parking spaces. Anything farther than that is to blurry. So I got some great deals and didn’t even get to enjoy them. I just don’t understand people, Who steals out of a minivan with car seats strapped into it. I hope they really needed the stuff, but I’m sure they just returned the stuff to a store somewhere for the cash. And if they did they will get back full price instead of what I actually paid for it. GRRR! that is what really makes me mad. They are gonna get paid for all the time and effort I put into gathering the coupons, planning my purchases, and then making sure the cashier rang them all up right. Anyways sorry this was so long, but I had to vent!!!! Thanks for listening!

    • rae

I am so sorry that happened to you – what a bummer. I’ve learned that thieves don’t care about car seats – I had someone steal my bike seat while I had a baby seat strapped to the handlebars!! Maybe a silver lining is that you and your daughter weren’t in the van because no amount of toothpaste is worth getting hurt! And at least you didn’t leave your purse or anything (that’s my bad habit). Sending you prayers for the two (three!) of you.

    • babyrn

I am very sorry that happened. You have taught me a valuable lesson to double check that my doors are locked and to NEVER leave anything of value in my car.

    • Kim C.

Sorry to hear about the break-in…but the good thing is, you weren’t hurt, they didn’t steal your van, and hey, you only spent $8.43 and some time for the stuff that was stolen. It’s still a bummer, but could have been worse. I really hope today was much better for you!

  39. Parveen

I went to Walgreens last night to buy the pedicare and was told they don’t accept internet coupons – and I KNOW they accept them, so I was very frustrated but I didn’t react. I just told the cashier that I don’t want any of the stuff. (Even the manager came over and told me that). Is this a new policy?

  40. Samantha Booker

I was able to get 4 of the .5 oz infant drops for free using two of the $2 coupons. Reg 5.99, handed over the $8 in MQs first, then had the cashier scan the in ad coupon which took off $20. =)

Side note and I would REALLY appreciate help on this: Does anyone know HOW the cashiers are to adjust a coupon amount??? The manager at one of my local stores messed with the computer forever once I showed him ( nicely) the policy saying that they will adjust a coupon if the value exceeds the price of the item. I asked him afterward what he did and he was vague but I think that he marked the price of the item UP instead of the coupon DOWN. I would love to just be able to tell them how to punch it in!

    • Christine

^^ They literally touch a button to push it thru, and depending on who you get, and their willingness to do it. It’s frustrating when they won’t… it’s not like it’s the *Big RED Button* or anything.

      • Samantha Booker

HA! I wish it was a big red button. =) I have an email out to corporate so maybe they will clue me ( and the managers) in.

  41. brandyhill

I just left my walgreens here in TN, and I’m very upset! The cashier was so rude. I tried to use 2 of the $2 off 1 Pediacare with the $5 in ad coupon and bought 2. She said it wouldn’t take the second one. Does anyone know if I did something wrong?

    • Felicia

I had the same problem, I bought the infant drops that were 5.99. After the walgreens coupon I owed 1.98 and I had to demand to see the manager and have him modify the amount the coupon would cover, so I could only use one coupon, and it was modified to $1.98. The awesome news is I didn’t pay a cent and got a 1$ RR. I think if you but a lot of stuff they might apply the overage of the second coupon to your purchace, but I haven’t been doing this long enough to know. The trick for that second coupon is that they have to adjust the cost of it.
I’ve never fought for a coupon before today, but it was worth it. When the cashier says no, ask to speak to the manager and tell them that all the coupon blogs have explained it and no one seems to have a problem getting the deal, then ask them to adjust the second coupon. If they fight, ask if they have read their store coupon policy. I haven’t needed to have it on hand yet, butI could see how it could be helpful when dealing with rude cashiers.

  42. Nikki

My cashier told me today that she couldn’t take the Pediacare manufacturer’s coupon because the final total after the $5 Walgreens coupon applied was less than the amount of the manuf. coupon. I said couldn’t she just price adjust down and she told me that they couldn’t do that. I did give her the manufacturer coupon first, but she rang up the Walgreens one first instead. Not sure if that matters or not, but that kinda sucked.

    • Christine

They tried doing that to me today as well (and also told me that they couldn’t dumb down the coupon), so I had to purchase a *filler*. Then after all that, they still had to push it thru. So now I have a 6 pack of Top Ramen I didn’t need. lol.

  43. C Blair

I know this is off topic, but if anyone has any amazon codes they are not using, you would be helping a mama out to send them to me! I’ll even take expired codes because I hear they’re still working! chrisdahly(@)hotmail(.)com. TIA!

  44. cathy

I got three of the infant pedicare for 5.99. I gave the clerk my manufactor $2 off coupons first, then the walgreens coupon. They didn’t need to adjust anything that way and I got a $1.00 money maker. Well, it won’t be a money maker for me once I ship them to my niece.

BTW: speaking of Walgreens. Does everyone know that the 3 off tide stain release coupons work with the tide stain 20 oz bottle on sale $3.99. I got five bottles today plus I got a three rr for spending 15 on the tide. So, the first three bottles of tide were free. I could have broke my tide purchase into two transactions, gotten an airfresher and another $3 rr. But I’m a one transaction person.

    • Anon

It might “work”, but that coupon is not intended for that size of Tide…

      • cathy

In english the coupon says 30oz but in spanish it says 15oz. So, who knows which language has the misprint.
However on the other hand the BOGO coupon says 15oz on both english and spanish if you use it the tide stain release is only $1.66 a bottle. Which is a great deal also.

  45. cathy

I got five bottles today plus I got a three rr for spending 15 on the tide. So, the first three bottles of tide were free. I could have broke my tide purchase into two transactions, gotten an airfresher and another $3 rr. But I’m a one transaction person.

I went and bought 2 childrens pediacare for 7.49 a piece and used 2 of the 2 dollar maufacture coupons and 2 of the 5 dollar off walgreens coupon plus got the 15% off for military. My question is that if your useing the 15% military discount does it then inturn take away 15% from the walgreens coupon? Because on my receipt it only took off 8.50 for the walgreens coupon and not 10. Either way still a good deal ! But just curious as to why it only took off 8.50 and not 10
    Thanks!

Yes, you’re right. I too am military so I always shop on Tuesdays to get the 15% discount (and I found out a couple weeks ago that you actually get 20% off Wags brand items–a great deal especially since their diapers will be BOGO again next week plus you can use the $2/1 Wags coupon from the Infant Care Booklet). Anyway, I’ve discovered that the in-ad coupons adjust accordingly to the 15% discount but the monthly coupons booklets do not. Confusing, I know. But that’s Walgreens for ya! 🙂

I purchased the Pediacare Allergy med @ $7.99 and the Childrens pain reliever/fever reducer @ $7.49. Used the $5 off wags coupon and 2 $2 off pedicare. So my total was $1.49. The kicker is I got 2 catalina’s for $1.50 off 1 pediacare product. I guess I’ll be going back for more. I really need the allergy medicine for my son.

When I bought this today at Walgreens for $5.99, it actually printed a $1.50 off catalina coupon right after the cashier rang it up. She scanned it and used the other two coupons as well, so it ended up being a $2.50 moneymaker for me.
