If you want to snag a free and yummy treat in the next few days, consider heading over to your local Starbucks from 2PM-5PM today, March 10th through March 12th. To celebrate their 40th birthday, Starbucks is offering up one of their Petites for FREE when you buy any drink (limit one per drink). Choose from cake pop, sweet square or whoopie pie…perfectly sized sweets that are under 200 calories. Check out the video here for more information. Sounds good to me! πŸ˜€

* On a side note, be sure to head over here and sign up for the FREE My Starbucks Rewards Program. With My Starbucks Rewards, you’ll snag FREE drinks, personalized offers, coupons and more!

also….if you really want to score a free treat all together, take in one of thier home coffee bags…the one i have is the vanilla coffee, you can get at the grocery stores, on the sides of the bags it says…bring me in your local starbucks coffee house and turn me in for a free coffee! (or something like that!) but the bag will say it on the side if its a bag they will accept!!

Although bags expire 30 days after the “good until” date…

  2. kim

The links for My Rewards are saying that the offer has expired? Anyone else getting this?

    • Jaime

I am getting the same thing…bummer I was really looking forward to getting a free treat with my drink πŸ˜€

      • Amy

Yeah, I got the same thing. Wonder what’s up with that! I bet it’s still available somehow… Anyone know?

        • Collin

Sorry, guys! I had the wrong link in there… it should be working now! πŸ™‚

  3. Noelle

I thought you had to get a “handcrafted” drink in order the free samples?

  4. Kim

At my local Starbucks you don’t need the rewards program to get it, you just need to come in at the stated times and dates! Hopefully its that way for you all too. Good luck!

So this should be good on their smoothies as well right?

I was pleasantly surprised with this yesterday. I was out shopping with the hubs and we stopped for coffee. I used my $5 GC I scored from a deal on this site a while back. We each got a treat since we each bought a coffee (the lady said any beverage…one guy got a bottled water and it worked). Normally these treats cost $1.50 ea!
