My Walgreens never prints more than one RR per each brand ie it won’t print 2 $2 RR for one transaction.

    • Kathy

I just went and purchased 3 and it worked!!! Thanks!!!

      • luzv

what State are, because I son’t know if it will work for me New York

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine usually doesn’t either, but I just did it and it prints two. They don’t look the same though. One of them is the usual white/red RR and the other is a blue coupon that states the details of the RR.

  2. eg

Hi I looked at the weekly ad but could not find it. Is the coupon in the booklet?

    • Leslie

No coupon, just register rewards… “coupons” to use on your next order.

      • eg

i do not mean RR, but the “in ad coupon” she said in transaction process

    • toni62864

The coupon is on page 3 of this weeks ad.

      • eg

Bummer! it is regional I think. Only in ad on the weekly circular on page 3 is cottonelle and household cleaners. It wont be MM without in ad rite?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

hi were to find the page 3 of this weeks ad???

    • nccouponmom

I can’t remember, but I thought I saw it as a coupon in the circular. I didn’t keep it though since I wasn’t planning on shopping this week. I might have to for this though.

      • vee v

you can always get one in store 🙂

    • bradleykymom

Yes, the coupon is at the bottom of the weekly flyer/advertisement for Wal-greens. I just tried it & it worked. Good luck.

  3. dreamofsavings

I’m in one the the test cities with the card. These things never work here. Point Point Points,……. Anyone in the test area knows if it works for us?

    • katie

i’m in portland, or , test area and it works

      • dreamofsavings

        thanks so much

  4. Amy

hahaha Collin, I love how you test out the deals for us. 🙂 I’ll wait patiently for your return… 😉

  5. Bee

Thanks for going to check it out!

I have some RR to burn.

  6. Tia

They’re in the ad here in South Florida. We will be eating a lot of cereal if this deal works for Collin! lol

    • samantha

I hope this works! I really need to roll some RRs and free cereal is always a plus!

      • momtosix

Don’t forget Walmart takes them now

        • hilary

walmart takes RR? i thought, in their policy, it says that they will NOT take competitors coupons for dollars off. let us know if this is wrong — bring RR to walmart would be awesome!

          • Susan

Just tried in Thomasville, Ga. They will not. Only price match an ad or coupon stating specific price, such as 2liter Pepsi-89 cents. Will not take .75 off Pepsi, etc. Only on manufacture coupons off internet or papers, magazines. See post on http://www.afullcup.com

    • Tia

Never mind….we have Kelloggs & General Mills cups on page 3 for $.79.

      • samantha

what does the fine print say? Our add only has a picture of Kelloggs and GM but the print says it is for Post also.

      • blancaes69

The one in my ad is for Kelloggs, GM & Post =)

      • toni62864

Does the fine print not also say Post 2 or 2.1 oz. Mine does.

        • Tia

It does list the size so it’s the single cups only.

      • Jason

That coupon also says post on it for .79

  7. momtosix

I can’t wait either. The coupon says limit 3???

    • samantha

Most in ad coupons at walgreens have limits but they typically don’t enforce a limit. I think it just depends on your store.

    • Tia

Yeah, they say limit 3 but you can always just get more circulars. My walgreens never takes the coupon, they just scan it from the paper.

  8. Tammy

You have me so excited about the cereal. I can’t wait to hear back from you. My kids just love the single containers of cereal.

  9. Candace

It is on page 3 in my ad.

  10. Candice

It worked for me! I payed $4 something for 5 cups and got 2 $4 RR back! I had to [ay more than what she said because the coupon said limit of 3. Thanks!

  11. Rhonda

The ad says limit 3, so I guess it will depend on the cashier. Is this just for Fruity Pebbles or for Post cereals?

    • Roger

      Good question. Anybody?

  12. Julie Bryant

Will Wal-mart accept Target coupons and manufacture coupon on one item?

    • samantha

I was wondering the same thing. I haven’t tried it but I don’t think so. According to their coupon policy they only accept one coupon per item. It doesn’t say anything about manufactures/store coupons.

      • Kristy

From what I understand of walmart’s coupon policy, they will accept walgreens coupons like this $0.79 on single cereal cups, but not ones like a certain dollar amount or percentage off.

  13. eg

Congrats to those who are in the area with this deal! Well at least I got Always pad deal this week. I think regional RR deal is unfair though!

  14. Robin

I just ran and “tested” this and does in fact work. The only thing, it was only enough FP on the shelf to do the deal one time….. HURRY!!

    • Rachael

How many did you purchase? Did the coupon work for more than 3?

    • mommamm

      Can we do Cheerios also?

  15. lauren

Robin did you buy 3 or 5? And did it print out 2 seperate RR’s?

  16. Princessbooboo

I have two Walgreens in my area, but both of them aren’t good.
They rarely accept coupons and they give me baaaaaaaaaad attitude 🙁
Last week, I went to one of the Walgreen and the same thing happened again. I finally decided to just stop going to the Walgreens now.

  17. Derek

Sounds like a good deal! Do both of the RRs that print say the same thing or are they different deals that just happen to have the same value? I’ve never had one deal print out more than one RR at a time. TIA!

  18. Kelly P.

    This works on Cheerios, to!!!!

    • babyrn

You got the RR for buying cheerios too?

  19. randi

Does anyone happen to have an amazon baby code they don’t need? If so, please send it to me at randibd at gmail dot com

  20. Amy

I’m confused on how this is a money-maker. Is there are fruity pebbles coupon I’m missing here? Just looked through my breakfast coupons and did not see anything for this brand.

    • samantha

My walgreens circular for this week has a coupon on page 3. Post cereal 2-2.1 oz for .79 cents.

    • Tia

It’s in this week Walgreens Ad on page 3 at the bottom.

    • Jennifer
    • Latasha

Looks like there is an in ad coupon making each cup only $0.79.

  21. Jennifer
  22. Anna

Do I need more than one of the in-ad coupons? THX

    • Lpmousse

      Nope. Just the in-ad coupon.

  23. Melissa

So, all I need is the coupon from the FLYER?????

    • ANDREA

      yes

  24. Karen

Do you know if it only works on the fruity pebbles or can you get a different variety?

    • Lpmousse

Just on Fruity Pebbles. Consider donating them to charity if they’re not your favorite cereal. I’m sure some kids would love these!

  25. Lpmousse

So I just did the buy 5 deal, along with a Pedia care (using the $5 off coupon and the $1.50 coupon that’s been printing at the register for me). I got a $4 off my next transaction and a $4 RR. I’ll give these away to charity, as Fruity Pebbles is not my favorite cereal. 😉

  26. Amanda Preston

New Walmart policy adopted 3/2/11 states that they will take Catalinas (essentially a RR from Wags…I’ve taken a CVS ECB too) and also allow overage on coupons now too!

Below is the link to the new policy

    walmartstores.com/download/4730.pdf

    • J

HOw have you taken an ECB from CVS?? It doesn’t have a scannable barcode or a manufactue coupon marking or a remitt address????

    • Kiesha

CVS ECBs are not the same as RRs. They do not say man q on them, don’t have a remittance address on do not have the man q barcode. They do not follow the new policy in any way.

  27. Melissa

Is this only for fruity pebbles? My in ad coupon has other cereals on it, I wonder if the register rewards prints out for any other cereal?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

On the coupon that prints, it says Post Pebbles. Buy 3, Get $2; Buy 4, Get $3; Buy 5, Get $4

  28. Mandy

Thank you SO SO SO much for this. I just spent $8 on 10 of these & got $16 in RR back! The coupon does actually limit the special to 3 of the cereals though… regardless if they care about the limit or not.

  29. katie

Can anyone who has done this deal veify that the “.00 off our next shopping order”is actually a coupon?? It kind of looks those catalinas that come out to advertise an upcoming catalina deal. I just wanted to make sure. Anyways, worked for me in the Portland, OR area buying 5. Thanks for any input.

    • Mandy

They are both manufacturer coupons. They both start with the number 5

    • bradleykymom

I can. I bought 5 of the Fruit Pebbles bowls, as well as two of the Cottonelle to go wipes. Spent $5.05 (had $1.00/2 for wipes). Total was $5.05. Register printed out $1.50 RR, $4.00 RR from post, $4 RR from Walgreen’s. I turned right around to do the Cottonelle wipes again and bought some other regularly sized cereal. The clerk used the $4 RR from Post on that order.

      • katie

        Thank you!

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It must be regional. In Texas the GM cereals are on sale for .79. Not the Post cereals. 🙁

    • Andrea

I just bought them here in Houston, Texas and it worked beautifully!

    • Lizette

I just did the deal twice in Dallas, TX.

  31. brenda

Collin….when you test it out,and it don’t work do you still buy the cereal????

  32. Sarah

You have to do Cereal with Collin this Monday instead of Coffee with Collin! LOL

    • hsmom

      LOL! That’s hilarious!

  33. Erica

It worked for me as well!!!! bought 5 paid $3.95 got back (2) $4

  34. Cassie

Woo hoo! Worked for me in south Texas! Bought 5 and got 2 $4 RR. Plus I got the $1.50 RR for the 2 travel cottonelle wipes! Thanks Collin!

  35. Dee

    Woohoo – Got some thanks!

  36. Melissa

OK! So, I went the the first walgreens, bought 5, got back a $3 RR and a $3 Coupon on next shopping. THEN, went to the other walgreens, bought 6, got a $4 RR and a $4 coupon! AWESOME, although I’m not sure what the logic is behind that!! BUT WHATEVER! 🙂

  37. Michelle

How many times are you allowed to do this deal?

  38. mary

got a quick drive to walgreens, ive got the rr, thanks

  39. Lori

It worked for me! I bought 5 and two $4 RR came out they looked totally different.

    • Ann

Same for me. I did the deal twice and got 2 $4 RRs each time!

  40. Nicole

It worked for me in Elkhart, Indiana! I bought 5 for $3.95 and got two $4 register rewards.

  41. Jessica

    Didn’t work for me 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I’m sorry :(.

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got 18 cups of Pebbles cereal and 4 $4 RR and 4 $3 RR. I made 5 trips–1st Wags did not carry the Pebbles cereal, the 2nd only had 4, 3rd only had 4, 4th store had oodles of the cereal and so did the 5th one. I did not really read the posting about the deal. I decided to drive through town vs. the freeway because there are Wags stores on every corner. I saw one lady with 20 cereal cups in her basket. I got the last 4 but went onto other stores. There was an abundance but I did not take them all :). When I got home and finally read the posting thoroughly only did then I realize all the RR I came home with from the stores!!!!!!!!!

  43. monica

worked for me 🙂 I’m in northern CA

  44. Christy

Worked for me in NorCal! I turned my 2x $4RR into the Softsoap deal (2/$7, get $5 RR) and a filler then used the $5 RR from Softsoap on more cereal (and another filler).

Fruity Pebbles taste awesome on ice cream.

  45. Kiesha

My stores are out of stock, some fast couponers in my area! LOL

  46. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I scored these today! Woohoo! I had a $5 RR to roll from 2 weeks ago. So I went in and bought 5 fruity pebbles with ad coupon at .79 each for a cost of $3.95 and 2~.99 Oreo’s for a cost of $1.98 = $5.93-$5.00=.93! Then out printed $4 RR from POST and $4 on Next Grocery order!

    Next order at another store:
    5 FP cereal: $3.95
    2~Coffee~mate creamer B1G1 Free=$2.49/2= $6.44-$2.49 FREE creamer coupon from Facebook= $3.95~Got $8!
    So for
$4.88 total for both orders and got back $16 in RR!!!!!!!!!

  47. beth wolfe

In Northwest Indiana all the stores shelves are cleared. I called just to make sure, with gas prices so high I didn’t want to waste my gas just to find empty shelves. Disappointed but at least I saved money in gas. LOL
