  2. Behki

this is the cutest thing ever! where are they with the mini buggies??

    • Angi

I love that you just called these buggies. I call them that and all of my friends make fun of me!

      • Allison

Im not the only one either!!!! πŸ˜€ My husband is from up north and he picks on me ALL the time for calling it a buggy!

        • Beth

Alison thats too funny because I am from the North and call it a buggy, my husband is from the south and he is adamant about calling it a cart!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I say buggies too! My Harris Teeter has those little ones.

    • Bridget

They are buggies and bags are “sacks”!!

    • Cynthia

I’m from up North and they are buggies. My southern-born children call them buggies, too….and they’re 24-28yo…Raised them right!

    • Jennifer

I call it a buggy too and EVERYONE I know makes fun of me!

    • Jennifer

I call it a buggy too and EVERYONE I know makes fun of me!

      • Paige

I am a Georgia girl living for the last two years in NJ, and I call them buggies. Folks here call them carriages. I always think that they are talking about a baby carriage!

    • Liz

back home in Maryland we go to the market, shop with a buggy, and put our stuff in a market sack!

      • Behki

a market sack?? i gotta say thats a first!!! lol

        • Michelle

I’m from the north and we use carts, go to the store or grocery store, and use sacks.

      • jill

I’m curious to know what part of Maryland is back home for you. I’ve lived in Maryland my whole life — mostly Baltimore area but also some on the Eastern Shore. We say grocery store, store or market, cart or basket & bags. I hear folks say buggy every now and again but not carriage or market sack. So funny how different and the same we all can be!

  3. Lisa m

so cute, will have to coupon shop with all those cuties…..

  4. Kathryn

How stinkin’ cute!!!! Look at all those little darlings πŸ™‚ I remember going to Phillip’s Meat Market when I was a child and they had the little mini buggies, too! I loved it! <3 this pic!!

  5. vanessa

    Way too cute.

  6. Noelle

    Adorable!!!!

  7. wendy @ ramblings from the sunshine state

Cute, but there is NO way!

    • Christy G.

I COMPLETELY agree Wendy! They would be staying home w/Daddy while I shopped. Can’t imagine! πŸ™‚ Although they all look like they are on the same path. πŸ™‚ I love how the tall poles are attached so she can keep track of ’em too! Clever!!

      • NolaGirl

Maybe they’re shopping with Dad, and Mom’s relaxing at home.

    • Dana

LOL! I actually hate to shop without my kiddos – I get home without enough food since there wasn’t anyone with me saying, Let’s get this or that πŸ˜‰

      • Jennifer

        Dana,
I use the shopping as a learning experience for our children. Our 3 year old gets to help by finding the product on the coupon. She stays entertained and is learning the value of the dollar. My children also know that if we do not have a coupon for it, we are not getting it. πŸ™‚

        • dana

LOL! With 11 kids, if I only bought what we had a coupon for, we would practically starve! I love to coupon for fun, but I’m really a Costco-aholic πŸ˜‰
My little girls love to help, and I love the help; since we RV fulltime, and are always in a new grocery store, they often find items before I do! I couldn’t grocery shop without them!!! πŸ™‚

    • Dana

O.T., but Coke Rewards has $5 Macaroni Grill g.c. for 140 pts!

    • Ashley

I have 5. and I always have to take all of them with me. Dad works and i coupon. so I do the best I can do. But when there is a deal out the door all 6 of us go! Its not easy but you do what you have to do.
      And I HATE those buggies!!!!
My kids run all over my feet with those!
      LOL

  8. Doa

    Love it!

  9. jennifer

    Best picture ever!

  10. Christa K.

Awesome! My local Rite Aid has some of the kiddie carts like these & my daughter LOVES to help me shop with it!

  11. Suzanne

Our Kroger has carts like this but I’m too afraid my son would run into everything – maybe in a couple more years. How sweet to see all of those darling girls!!!

  12. Freebies

ya.. I don’t let my two daughters have 1 cart- it’s a hazard!! LOL

    jen

  13. Maggie

Such a CUTE photo! My kiddos love the mini carriages too!

  14. Samantha Booker

I was just thinking a few days ago that I hadn’t seen the little buggies in awhile. I will keep this pic in mind the next time my one and only is driving me crazy in the stores! πŸ˜€

  15. Diane

My husband says it’s a girls natural instinct to LOVE to shop from the time they are born…He just may be right on this….That photo is so cute!

  16. Lisa Edwards

Only thing that would make this photo ever more precious is if they all had a handful of coupons!

    • Melissa

      that’s what i was thinking!! πŸ™‚

  17. kim

Now they all just need a little binder and they’d be set. So cute.

  18. kim

Now they all just need a little binder and they’d be set. So cute.

  19. Shelly

OMG – I took my 21 mos old son to Lowes Foods last night… and tried to get him to cooperate while I shopped by giving him one of these carts… it was a nightmare! He ran around screaming and hitting things! Needless to say, I grabbed him and left my cart (only had a few non refrigerated items in it) and left. He was horrible! NEVER again! Whomever this brave person is, she definitely deserves a reward!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Once they get past a year, its no more “months old” ahhh!!!!
Hes a year and a half, almost 2!

      • Amanda

Seriously? Awww, I hope you really aren’t giving her a hard time for that? I have never heard that rule before, what is wrong with saying 21 months?

        • TaraLynn

I agree! I wish i could still count in months, my 7 year old might get mad tho πŸ˜‰

        • TaraLynn

I agree! I wish i could still count in months, my 7 year old might get mad though πŸ˜‰

        • Melody
      • Steff

Seriously? Then why does their clothing run not only in 2T, 3T, and 4T’s, but 18mo, 24mo, 36mo, and 48mo??? And why do the pediactricians still refer to their ‘year and a half’ appt as their 18 month check up?

I’ll never understand why people choose to critique each other on these posts. We are all here for the same reason: to find great deals, share great deals, and enjoy the company of fellow couponers! No one understands a couponer, better than a couponer!

        • Mari

Lol, my youngest babies are still 36 and 18 months old. πŸ˜€

        • Toni

Well said Steff! This isn’t the place to critique others, actually its no ones place to do so. Notice though the ones who do, do it anonymously.

      • Shelly

Thanks for your opinion Anonymous – and its just that – your opinion. Next week he will be 22 months old! YIKES. LOL

  20. Carol

    How my gosh, so cute!

  21. lilliesmommy

My daughter always have to get one of those when we go to Brookshires.

  22. CHRIS

Trader Joe’s has those too. The kids love them!

  23. leopardgirl8282

    That is so adorable

  24. Stephanie Werner

I’m so curious… are these triplets and two other sisters? Very cute!

  25. Jessica

I LOVE how they are all looking in different directions. Soo stinkin cute. Is this a reader’s actual photo? Are they all hers/his? I want a story behind it! πŸ™‚

    • Jennifer

      Me too, what’s the story.

    • le85

Me too!! these cant all be her little girls… Yikes

      • Noel

I want to know what the story behind the photo is too!!! I wonder if they are all hers, they are cute. Hope Collin gets us the story πŸ™‚

        • Shonda

I want a story too please!!! Thx! Adorable

    • jamie

i was wondering the same thing!

  26. Francoise

    Precious!

  27. Valarie

    So adorable!

  28. couponlovingmommy

    too cute!

  29. peever

Very cute, but I usually go shopping with just my 3 yr old when my oldest is in school and I have a hard enough time just trying to get groceries and make sure she doesn’t plow into a display or anyone else! I can’t imagine trying to contain 5 toddlers pushing shopping carts!

  30. Barbie

    omgosh! that is too cute!!!

  31. A

I call it a cart but in TX they say basket!

    • court

Tx girl here too. Depends on the day. They were buggies today, but they’ve also been baskets & carts.

    • NolaGirl

      Where’s that “like” button! πŸ™‚

  32. A

I call it a cart but in TX they say basket!

  33. dot

    Really cute picture!

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    That is way too cute!

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Cute…

  36. Tracy

One word…BRAVE, she is a very brave women to be able to take 5 kids out and each have their own personal buggie.

  37. Pat

Cute picture! Personally, those little carts make me crazy. It’s worse than men just stopping in the middle of the aisles and walking away from their carts to get something!

    • sar1

I have to agree. I definitely got a smile out of all those cuties in pink coats, but my very next thought was “thank goodness I wasn’t shopping in that store!”.

      • Mari

Aww, I would have loved to have been at that store, they’re so cute in the picture I bet they would have been adorable to see in person (LoL to the comment about people walking away and leaving their carts in the middle of the aisle to find things).

      • Anne

Same here, oh my gosh. Grocery shopping is enough of a chore without having to dodge 5 kids with their own shopping carts.

  38. Vinita

    SIMPLY ADORABLE!!!

Got an off topic Q here and would REALLY appreciate a response. A friend of mine was selected to host a house party. Her computer crashed and had to be fixed. She couldn’t invite friends or inform house party. Then there was a sudden death in the family. Meanwhile, she received her party pack and cannot host the party. Should she inform them? The package is way too heavy to ship back (unless at their expense), she cannot send in video or blogs. WHAT should she do in all good faith? PLEASE RESPOND SO I CAN LET HER KNOW.

    • Leah

Maybe you could give House Party a call on behalf of your friend and explain the situation. I”m sure they would be more than understanding. And from what I’ve read some people evey change the date of the party.

      • Vinita

TYSM Leah…I think I’ll contact house party for her. Neither one of us has ever done this before, which is why I’m posting so much!!!

COLLIN….SO SORRY TO DISRUPT THE THREAD HON. TY for understanding and allowing the posts. Really appreciate it!!!

    • Joan Southwick

It doesn’t have to be ON the day…. I was chosen for a coffee house party, and we had a BIG snowstorm,, No one came,, so I took all the goodies to the lake the following weekend, and shared with my friends there! and passed out the coupons later as I went along… I did let them know, and had some good pics of my goodies all set up…

      • Vinita

TYSM Joan for sharing your experience. We both appreciate it. So glad you could make the best of a bad situation!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this site for the caring and sharing and to COLLIN for making it all happen.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You could always co-host at a later date. It might be a break she needs to be around some friends. Have it at your house, a park or someplace else. I don’t know what the party is. Use the phone to invite people or make hand written invitations. They don’t have to be emailed. People can log on after the party to fill out any surveys. If she’s up for having the party she can always let them know the re-sceduled date. As long as the product is discussed and given out they are pretty good at working with you.

      • Vinita

TYSM hon….GREAT suggestions!!! Will definitely do when she’s up to it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

She should just give the items out in a way that they are distributed like the company would appreciate. I almost had to cancel one of my houseparties once and informed them but they had already shipped the stuff. So that was their official word. Just hand out the stuff to your friends when you can!

  39. missdeally

She can still host the party just do.it when she can.

    • Vinita

missd: does she have to inform house party? Will anybody be showing up at her house to “verify” she’s doing the party on the date she’s supposed to? Right now she’s too distraught to DO anything, but wants to “do the right thing”. Or should she just inform house party and have them take back the package? REALLY APPRECIATE your help hon.

      • Lori

No one came to my Capri Sun party to verify that I was having it. I also was not able to send in pics after my party and did notice that a lot of people don’t send pics either. As long as she still has her party sometime it should all be ok. Hope this helps.

        • Vinita

Awwww hon, I’m sorry no one showed up, but happy to hear there is no “verification”. TYSVM for taking the time to share and for the reassurance. Hip Readers are the VERY BEST!!!!

      • Laura

I’ve hosted 2 parties and there are always people saying that they moved the date. Just send them an email stating that there was a death in the family and that she still wants to have the party but has to move the date. From all of the changed dates I’ve seen from different parties I do not think they would have too big of a problem with it.

        • Vinita

TYSVM Lori and Laura for sharing your experiences and re-assurances. Greatly appreciated. Hip Readers are THE VERY BEST!!!

  40. Joy

So cute! I don’t even like to take grownups with me shopping, let alone 5 little ones.

  41. nikesmom

No one came to “verify” at my house party. She can still do the party just on a date that will work for her. Also, a lot of people don’t send in pics and stuff so that shouldn’t matter either.
    Hope this helps!!

    • Vinita

TYSM nikesmom for sharing. That really helps. She should feel so much better now. TY again!!!

  42. Cindy

Cute picture! Looks like maybe they are in a pet store.

  43. Emily

How adorable! My 14 year old is actually better @ coupon shopping than i am. xDD

  44. ella

    Oh, so cute πŸ™‚

  45. Christa

I have a 6 yo and three 4 yos but I haven’t found a store that has enough mini buggies for all of them!

  46. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    LOL! Very cute

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Tom Thumb and Brookshires in Tx have the mini shopping cart/buggies. Love your picture

  48. Steph

This picture made me smile–partially because the girls are soooooooooooooo cute and partially because they are shopping with somebody besides me! πŸ™‚

  49. AMBER BAILEY

    SOOOOO adorable! πŸ˜€

  50. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    so stinkin cute!
