    This is AWESOME!

  2. Christina

Thanks Collin! I’m actually going shopping for some little tikes items today for my son’s birthday next month.

FYI: LIttle Tykes sandboxes are great items to pick up at garage sales. They are durable & last. YOu always see them at garage sales for cheap.

    • Carolyn

I was going to suggest yard sales/consignment sales, too… we got our Little Tikes playset for $25 at a yard sale 2 years ago and saw the same one in the store for $250! We hosed it off and it was good as new (and gets dirty again every year anyway)… they LAST.

Watch for ads before Easter will often have Little Tikes on sale or buy one get one. I just got a Target toy catalog with a $5 off $50 Target coupon attached. Combined with sale prices, the Tikes coupon and the Target Coupon I may be able to save on Easter gifts for the grands.

What are the expirations on these?

    • mel

usually 30 days from when you print, so if you print today, will prob exp 4/20. Although sometimes you get a coupon that has a longer exp date and others within 2 weeks.

    • Amy

I just printed it- expires on 4/3 (short life). Cannot be used for online purchases.

  6. Jen in FL

Most Targets accept expired coupons (mine do here). For instance, I printed the $5 off coupon to use for the travel size Hungry Hungry Hippos back in December, but they flew off Target’s shelves within the first hour. The expiration date was 12/19/2010. 2 weeks ago, I found the game, used the expired coupon, and scored it for free! 🙂

    • Maman A Droit

Target is definitely not supposed to take expired coupons (used to work there pre-baby!) That probably means the cashier just didn’t look at the expiration date.

    • Amy

Agreed. My husband used to be a manager at Target, and they definitely do not take expired coupons.

    • Bridgette

actually, if you go to veri-fi ebsite w(or whatever it says on the side of the coupon), you can check to see when the manufacturers expiration date really is. Even if it has an expiration date on the front, some are good for months afterward depending on the date on the website. All you do is enter in the code on the coupon to see. I have done this and they have been accepted because it is done through verifi so thats how it probably worked. if it dont beep, its valid basically. Disregard their comments below 🙂

You’re better off getting Little Tikes stuff at garage sales. I saw our sandbox (brown castle looking one) at KMart for $70. I got it for $4 at a garage sale.

  8. Rachelle R

we have that turtle sandbox that is pictured on the coupon. my neighbor put one out on the sidewalk with a sign that said “free”. it was in great condition and we just had to buy sand!

  9. Corrine

I got 2 of the Turtle sandboxes on clearance at Walmart last year right after summer for $3 each! It was quite exciting for me 🙂

Hi! I am looking for some Spring toys for my 1yr baby girl! I would like the 3 in 1 trike, basketball court for outside, coupe, nice swing set for outside, bike trailer, etc. Please let me know if you see any deals anywhere and it anyone in SJ are willing to sell any of the above. I am also looking on craiglist. Thanks in advance. My email is tracyrearick@comcast.net.

    • Jessica

the 3 in 1 trike was on sale for $65 on mamapedia a few days ago with free shipping…don’t know if you saw that…

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are better off using 2 save $5 coupons. You will still save $10, but will only have to purchase $60! Sometimes Toys R Us does buy one get one sales on Little Tikes.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You know you can’t use 2 manufacture coupons on the same item, right? you could do this if you bought 2 though.

    • Brianna

I was just going to post that! Great minds… 🙂

      • Jessie

The coupons are for $5 off of a $30 purchase. When you spend $60 on a 2 item purchase, you will get $10 off of that. $10 off of $60 is better than $10 off of $100. Or $10 off on a buy one get one offer is even better. This is what I think the original poster meant, not to use 2 coupons on one item.

Off subject -I have a $10 amazon coupon but really need a 20% to pair it with to get a great buy on some much needed diapers and was wondering if anyone has one that they’re not using and wouldn;t mind letting me have it? strap82@yahoo.com

    • Tracy

      Sending you a 20% off code… expires 3/31/2011

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Those of you who found the sandbox at garage sales are lucky. I searched all summer one year before breaking down and buying one new. I just could not find one at any garage sale.

  14. Cynthia

Toys R Us flyer in today’s local paper has Little Tikes at 25% off. This includes ride on coupes and trikes, houses and climbers, basketball sets. Plus a free little tikes bowling sett with $100 purchase. I agree with the yard sale idea…but good luck with that. Usually not easy to find. And these toys last SO long…Good gosh, if I still had them, my grandchildren would be playing with them!

  15. JenFish19

I have also been very lucky to find Little Tykes items at garage sales. I also had my mom look for them too. Not only have they been a great deal, I am getting ready to sell one of mine in a garage sale because my kids are getting too big for it. I will probably be able to sell it for what I paid. Very hip!

  16. Jenny

Off topic, but I have a 20% YT Amazon diaper code that I would love to trade for a $10 baby store code. If anyone is interested, please email me at jenn.anwar at yahoo.com Thanks!!

    • Sarah

      I sent you an email

  17. Chelsey

I agree with all of you who find your Little TIkes stuff at garage sales. I have bought a bunch of their stuff from yard sales over the last few years and it holds up great, even when it is stored outside in Minnesota winters!! Great coupons, though, for those who aren’t the garage sale type!

  18. Brianne

I’ve gotten tons of Little Tikes & Step2 stuff off craigslist for my boys and for great prices. No garage sale hopping in hopes of getting there before it sells, just looked online, found what I want and went & picked it up.

  19. Cathrin

Help! I am due to have my first baby in a month and I could reallllllly use to swap my Amazon Mom codes for a Walmart Gift Card. I have a $10 off any purchase code AND a 20% off Diapers code for Amazon mom. I also have a 20% off Gymboree code. They all expire 3/31. I am looking for a Walmart Gift Card to finish off some items on my registry there. If you are interested, PLEASE email me at cathrin.capela (at) gmail (dot) com. I will email you all three codes, and you can send me a $10 electronic gift card from Walmart’s website.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can’t you just use the $10 Amazon code to get something from your registry. Amazon has lots of items to choose from.

      • Cathrin

I found someone to swap with. I would do what you suggested, except I’m pooling some gift cards towards a larger purchase. 😉
