Chili's: Kids Eat FREE Tonight (March 22nd!)
Woo Hoo! This offer is back again this week! If you want to take the night off from cooking dinner and cleaning up, then consider heading on over to your local Chili’s. Print the coupon found here and kids ages 12 and under will eat FREE with any adult entree purchase. Keep in mind that there is a limit of 2 free kids meals per adult entree purchase; coupon only valid today, March 22nd.
And check out this email that I received from reader, Kim…
If you eat in the bar area (this includes the tables), they offer chips and salsa for FREE… It is even printed on the little triangle food display set up on each table. Our family always eats in the bar area and always score free chips and salsa. During the week, there are not many people in the bar area and I always get excellent service too 🙂 Just thought you would like to know.
* Finally, don’t forget to sign up for the Chili’s email club! Just for signing up, you’ll score a coupon valid for FREE Chips & Queso (cheese dip with seasoned beef, served with warm tostada chips and homemade salsa) with the purchase of any entree! Keep in mind that you will likely not be able to use both the free chips & queso coupon and the free kid’s meal coupon in one visit.
(Thanks, Who Said Nothing in Life is Free!)
I need to adopt another adult for tonight so my last 2 can eat free 😀 LOL!
me too. what about a grandparent? I might ask my mom if she would like to go. 🙂
Chips and salsa are free even if you dont start out at the bar.
So if my husband and I and our 4 kids go do they all eat free? Do I just need one coupon?
Yep…as long as you and your husband both order a separate entree, all 4 kids will eat free with just one coupon.
We went last week for this with a coupon, but the waitress said the coupon wasn’t needed. It did get super busy right at supper time, and it took quite a bit longer to get the kid’s their meals than usual but hey, it was free and the waitress was super nice 🙂
It states on the coupon that you can get up to 2 kids meals per adult entree. My husband and I usually share an entree and our 2 munchkins each get their own meal for free! Also, our loal Chili’s accepts the kid eat free coupon AND one other coupon (free queso, dessert, appetizer, etc.) so it might be worth a phone call to see if yours does.
We did the same thing! hubby and I split and entree, the waiter had no problem with it and split the salad entree for us.
Our Chili’s does not allow children in the bar area, but we do get free chips and salsa in the regular seating areas, with purchase of course.
Does this work for take-out also? I don’t see anything about it on the coupon. I’d rather pick up on my way home from work!
Yes it does work on take out! I did it last week! I called to make sure and they said I just had to have the coupon!
Yep, they told me the same thing! Woo-hoo, 6 meals for $13, can’t beat that deal!
I took my mother out for her birthday last time this deal was on. There was 6 of us – 2 adults and 4 kids. My mom and I got a “dinner for 2 for $20” when you get a choice of 2 entrees and an appetizer. We got waters to drink and I also ordered a dessert. I didn`t have a coupon (nor would they take it) but I just mentioned to the server it was my mom`s birthday. When the bill was brought it said $21! They treated my mom to a free dessert! So 6 people ate with an appetizer and a dessert to share for $21! Well $26 with a tip. Still not bad. I love Chili`s!
Please remind everyone to tip as if the bill was full price. Normally for six persons to eat at Chiles the bill be be at least $60 (and probably more) so the tip should have been $9 at the very, very minimum. Also, a table of four young children are going to require extra work for the servers. Even if your kids are really well behaved….someone will have to sweep or clean the floor before the next table can be seated. Think of how much YOU would like to be paid to wait on and clean up after a party of six. Tipping is a cost of eating out and should be planned for accordingly. I am not trying to be judgemental, just reasonable and fair for the servers who work hard for their tips.
That was well put, Mary S. Even if the bill was normally only $40.00, there were refills to be checked, (even if only water), and depending on the Service….extra napkins, running back to the kitchen for extra dressing/sauces, plates, etc…. I think that $7-$9 would have have been ideal. Plus when there’s a birthday, Chili Servers have to find at least 2 minimum, preferably more, who are not busy, to go and serve the dessert and sing Happy Birthday. That can be tough when you’re busy, and you need to go check back on your own tables, and take food out, to stop everything you’re doing to go sing Happy Birthday. I’m glad though that Rin had a happy experience and her Mom was treated.
She ordered a special for 2 which was 20. All of her kids are 20. The adults ordered waters. The dessert is a way of saying happy birthday so it was free. She would tip 6.00 for full price @15% or 7.20@18% or 8.00@ 20%. To say that she should tip 9.00 plus is over the top.
