I have not received my coupon for a free box of john freida yet. Has anyone received it yet?????

    • Katie

      Nope!

    • Geri

I qualified for the free box coupon twice but havent received a coupon at all. Also, I have received two samples from JF and both were missing the coupon that says is on the package

    • Francoise

Me neither! But I know from experience, these sorts of things can take a looooong time to arrive.

    • Ronni

      I haven’t received it yet.

    • Janice H

I have 5 coupons for John Freida Precision Foam hair colour -try me free up to 12.99, that the lady was giving out at the Walgreens yesterday in the beauty section. She gave me 3 and my brother got 2 , so he gave me his! expires 4/30/11…It says good only at Walgreens, but is also manufacturer’s coupon too.I won’t be using these so if you would like to have them, the first person to send me a e-mail and leave your address so I can send them to you.I can mail them. tomorrow. I am in Central, Alabama….janatberry@yahoo.com………..

coupons have been taken … Michelle- you were first one to e-mail me

  2. Steven

You can use the $5 adperk coupon for the John Freida to make $7 on this deal

    • Francoise

      Thanks Steven!

      • Emily

You can’t use the $5 coupon along with the free coupon, it is against Rite Aid coupon policy. They don’t allow overage. 🙂

  3. Lori

Yesterday I went into Rite Aid……….. they honored the next day sale even though it was saturday. They forced for the 2 free packs of elastics and my reward card gave me $4 back!! Now I can go again today and get 2 free packs of elastics!!

  4. mouni

Yep, not only I didn’t get the extra 2 ups for the scunci but I didn’t get any ups for the other scuncis I bought. I bought a total of four but only got 2X1.99 ups. I love Rite Aid but they need to get their act together with the monthly deals and the limits . The scunci was also part of the monthly deal so I should’ve at least gotten an extra 2 X2 ups for the other two i bought. 🙁

    • katie

There is a limit of 2 per card on the 1.99 UP. The 2.00 extra UP was not actually a monthly UP as everyone said, it was a weekly UP that ended on 4/2.

      • mouni

I thought I read somewhere that the 2 +ups was supposed to end on 4-16 and Rite Aid just decided to pull the plug early. They have done this before with the monthly food ups.

        • Christa K.

I had hoped it was a monthly deal too. However, I went back & looked and I have a copy of the Wellness+ email advertising the deal. The email is dated 3/27 and states at the bottom “This week’s specials valid from 3/27 – 4/2 unless otherwise noted.” No special note on the Scunci deal that I see in the email unfortunately. So no MM but at least we can get a couple of the elastic bands free with the 1.99+up this week. 🙂

          • mouni

Oh well it was still a great deal as some people said. I hope Rite Aid keeps the great deals coming.

    • where's the deal

It wasn’t a monthly deal, and the limit was stated on the Ad this morning for the $1.99 ups – says limit 2.

      • Freebies

        where’s the deal:

The $2 up was in addition to the $1.99.

        • where's the deal

Again, the deal had an end date of 4/2. The e-mail that mapped out the deal said that it was good from 3/27 – 4/2. There should not be any calling of Customer service. The overlap for the Southern California people I think sometimes gets confusing.

    • hlmh

tell them at the time you buy – my store will give the up rewards or have even refunded me money – open your mouth people

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There is a $2 coupon in each of the Biore Pore Strip box, if you have box laying around. It’ll make this even a sweeter deal.

    • coralie

thanks. last week i bought 3 strips and 3 towelettes with the b1g1 coupon. my regular price was $8.49 less 20% took it to 6.79. i have a bunch of the b1g1 coupons (LOVE newspaper recycling bins) and planned to buy more. thanks for just putting $6 into my pocket!

  6. erin

I havn’t recived mine either…anyother deal ideas to make this one work???

  7. mouni

By the way, Collin (and Girls), If you have those 2 off any two carefree, listerine or stayfree (it was on smartsource last week). You could get 4 free carefree liners.
Buy 4 18 to 22 count for $5 use the 2 of the coupons mentioned above and get 1 up reward, so 4 for free. 🙂 It beeps but my cashier pushed it though when she saw I had the right products.

    • lu

      doesn’t it exclude 18-22ct carefree?

      • mouni

OOps I have one coupon left that I just checked and it does have really tiny print that says ”not valid on 20 to 22 count.” Grrr I need to read my coupons more carefully as I don’t want to use coupons the wrong way.
Thanks, Lu. I’ll edit my other post.

  8. Angela

It was too bad the Scunci deal isn’t as good as it was supposed to be, but I still got two double packs free after +UP rewards, which beat 3.99 for a single pack any day! I’m going back for the Gilette razor deal tomorrow. I didn’t have my coupons cut yet when I went this morning, and DH loves those power razors.

    • AshATL

I got two twin packs, too! That was a nice find on an endcap!

  9. Stacey

anyone know how much the John Frieda Shamp or Cond is?

    • Carissa

      $6.99 at my store 😀

      • Stacey

        THANK YOU

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i have $2 off of $10 (cleaning bonus, green bonus, hair care bonus, beauty bonus) video values coupons.
can i useing the any purchase over $10 or only products applicable to show up on the coupon list as mentioned.
my store manager did’nt accept this coupon.(he said” only products applicable to show up on the coupon list as mentioned.).

    • where's the deal

Only for the items listed on the coupuon.

    • Jennifer

I cannot definitely prove this, but I think that you can use the coupon for $2 off if you make a $10 purchase that includes at least one of the items mentioned on the coupon. You don’t have to buy $10 of the items to use the coupon. I have used this twice now (first time by accident – it turned out that I was just under $10 on the specific items but my total purchase was more – and second time to test it). Has this been anyone else’s experience?

      • Brandi

So I was curious about the Video Bonuses too. Can you combine them with the coupon earned for a specific item in that category? What about the additional $1 qs received for watching the Wellness+ videos? I’m new to this so I’m not sure and I want to make sure so I can stand up for myself if they give me flack.

      • where's the deal

Here is the wording on the coupon:

        $2 off $10*

        * Purchase of participating video values beauty products – that’s pretty clear to me. The products listed are:

Veet, Diamond Dazzle Stick, Halle Berry Reveal Fragrances, Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Items, Mabelline One by One Mascara, Maybelline Fit Me Brand Make Up, Crayola Hair Flair, Rimmel Glam Eyes Day-2-Nigh Mascara, Sally Hansen Make up.

Now – if you were to ‘try it’ anyway and use it on other items, or without have $10 it may scan, but we couponers know that we must adhere to the wording and intent of the coupons in order to make sure we continue to have these coupons available. It’s just the right thing to do – we enjoy such great deals, let’s make sure they continue for all of us and help RA out! HTH!!!

  11. Lynn

How do the +up rewards work? Do you get a gift card or does it get applied to your purchase right then and there?
    Thanks!

    • Rebecca

      Hi Lynn
If you have the rite aid Wellness + card, the UP rewards print at the end of your receipt and are valid on your next purchase. They usually are valid for 2 weeks from the end of the sale on that item.

  12. Stacey

Is there a limit on the buy $20 get 10+up?

    • coralie

i got 2 last week. hoping to get more this week. no limit is mentioned on endcap signage.

  13. Shannon

Just tried the Scunci promo and I bought 2 got two $1.99 UPs, which is still great for me! It also generated another $3/$15 for completing a survey.
    😉

  14. Teri JO

I received my up rewards this morning for the 2 I bought… making them free in Ohio.

  15. Christa K.

Gillette Fusion ProGlide razors are ringing up $9.03 for me with the 20% discount. So after $5 coupon from the P&G coupon book that came this week with the 5+up, it’s a money maker!

    • Krista S.

My Gillette razors rang up to $8.79 with my 20% discount!!

      • Renee

How do you get the 20% discount?

        • Julie S.

When you spend $1000 and reach “Gold status” you get 20%off; $500=10%off.

          • Evelyn

So if you spend $1000 you get upgraded to gold status? Is there a time limit to accumulate to spend $1000, as in spending that much within 1 year? Also, do you get 20% off of everything even on sale items? Is it automatically taken off or does it print a coupon like the UPs. Sorry for all the questions but I find this very interesting. Thanks.

            • Jaime

I believe the time limit for earning wellness points is by the end of the year. You would receive 20% off all regular priced items. If an item is on sale you get the better % off. For example on BOGO 50%, you would not receive 20% off either item because the 50% one item exceeds the discount of 20% off. So it isn’t ever combined, you just get the better of the discounts. The discount is automatically taken off when you scan your wellness card.

  16. Kaleena

Will the Biore/John Frieda deal that you posted last week work this week?

  17. Trish @TheOldPostRoad

It worked for me! (in Georgia)
I bought two scunci’s at $1.99 each and got two $1.99 up rewards.
    -Trish

  18. Anna

The Scunci elastics–18 count only–were free for me at 8:30 am in Baltimore, MD. I bought 2 got two $1.99 UPs and got a $3/$15 for completing a survey. Also got a bag of goodies since my Rite Aid was having a grand reopening. Got my mom to do the Scunci deal on her wellness card and it worked for her, too.

  19. Freebies

I think is is still giving the $1.99 up for the 2 packages. Prior to this it was printing an additional $2 up, even after the 2 maximum purchase.

  20. Bonnie

If any of you are interested i just went to RiteAid an bought the Hershey deal spend$20.00 and get a $10.00 Up Reward.I bought the candy that was on sale 2/4.88 that is include with the Hershey deal and i also got the $1.00 up reward for that deal also

  21. Katie

Does anyone know if there is a limit of one per card on the Biore/John Frieda deal? Thanks

    • Stefanie

It doesn’t appear so – it is tracking on the bottom of the receipt. I did one transaction yesterday with 4 biore and got reward and my receipt shows $8.76 towards next deal!
      2 – Biore Cleansers – $7.19 ea (after 10% discount)($14.38)
      2 – Biore Pore Strips – $7.19 ea (after 10% discount)($14.38)
      Coupons
2 – FREE Biore Cleansers WYB Strips
1 – $1 Biore Strips (In a package I already had..I got one more with another one!)
      1 – $3/$15 Survey
      1 – $1 Video Value Bonus
Pay: $9.38 get $10 +up 🙂 (You will have $8.76 towards the next $20 – since this is a month long deal if you get your John Frieda FREE coupon you can use it – buy just that and get another $10! 🙂

      • Katie

        Thanks, that is helpful.

      • coralie

i do believe there is no limit to this deal. i got 2 deals last week. however, i do not think that we can believe the tracking at the bottom always means we can get another deal (in general). i say that because the week of the cleaning deal (clorox, etc. buy $10, get $3) there was a limit of one. when i purchased more than $10 worth, it tracked the extra that i spent; however, i could not get another ups. it would be great if (like cvs) it would say when limit was reached in the tracking section. hope this makes sense.

  22. Leah

Anyone know what counts toward your wellness points that accumulate and show up on your receipt? Is it actual out of pocket paid, amount after coupons, or something else? I don’t see a clear explanation on the RA website and can’t quite figure it out from looking at the receipts. Anyone know? Thanks!!

    • Melissa

I believe your man. coupons count, but ra coupons and ups do not.

    • Christa K.

You’re right – there isn’t a very clear explanation on their website of how points accumulate. I emailed corporate to ask that question. It seems it is a little more strict this calendar year than it was last year. This year you accrue points for final total, out of pocket, cash-over-counter dollars spent only.

      • mouni

That’s what they say but coupons actually DO count. I can tell you that for sure because I rarely have any out of pocket other than tax and maybe a couple of $$. I only had a few instances this year where I had to spend from 10 to 15 bucks but my total points for this year is over 500 $ I reached gold last year with coupons mostly lol. Rite Aid is known for saying/deciding one thing then changing their mind to keep costomers happy. 🙂 .

  23. Kathy

I went to Rite Aid today and talked to manager. ….I didn’t receive my ups in the past when I used coupons because they said the coupons lowered the amount but because in the past they didn’t know this they wrote me out a rain check. He said that they had a meeting on this with a powerpoint with my manager this week. He said that is why I wasn’t getting the ups was the coupons lowered the deal and I didn’t reach my $20.00 amount to get
$10.00 ups for a buying $20.00 worth of items. All blogs I read everyone is using coupons and lowering the total and still getting their ups. Can anyone figure this out or explain what is happening. I didn’t get my $5.00 ups for the allergy this week. I met my $25.00 quota and used coupons with it and didn’t get my $5.00 ups. (I bought 2 Zicam B1G1 and used two $3.00 coupons. Zicam was 12.99 each) Can anyone help? The deal on the Biore was the same way because I used the B1G1 coupon lowered the amount and I didn’t get my 10.00 ups like everyone said they were getting theirs. Please explain this to me if anyone can.

    • andrea

For the zicam the B1G1 amount does not count towards the $25. Here was my deal: 2 zicam (12.99 total with B1G1), 1 breathe right (4.99), 2 halls (2/$3), neilmed nasadock ($6). Total 26.98 coupons used 2($3 zicam), $2 vv zicam, $1.50 breathe right, $1 vv breathe right, 2(.50 halls), .50 vv halls, $3 off $15. Paid 13.08 (includes tax) Ups received: $1 breathe right, $1 halls, $6 neilmed nasadock, $5 for spending$ 25. So total after Ups $.08 hope this helps!

    • where's the deal

When items are B1G1 you don’t get credit for the free one. It rings up as zero dollars. You’d need to buy 4.

  24. Kathy

    Thank you!
