I do the same thing, but I keep a sheet of notebook paper in the front of my binder and write the movie names and UPCs down. Just in case there’s contests or stuff like this 😉

Last time I went to best buy with a coupon, they could not get it to work no matter what they tried and finally said sorry, they couldn’t do it. I guess I’ll try again and hope for a different outcome.
I know! Everytime I use a MQ at Best Buy they can’t do it! Luckily I worked there for 3 years and politely instruct the cashier on how to take it!

You need to log in to disneymovierewards.com. Enter those UPCs someone put above where you enter the codes and it will let you print the coupons.
No this is not a rebate. You do the mydisneyrewards and they you do the code (at the bottom of the page) and you enter the “special code” (which is listed under a comment here on this thread)…. then it will send u to a page to print your coupon. You print an $8 coupon and a $10 coupon AND Best buy automatically will take $10 off for doing it together –
Then inside each box is 1 movie ticket to the Cars new release (from my understanding its 1 in each box vs. just 1 in cars movie?)

No this is an “instant savings” promotion offered at Best Buy only for buying both DVD combo packs in one transaction. Inside each movie pack, there will be a code that you’ll need to enter online in order (will state how on the package) to redeem the free Cars 2 codes (most likely through Fandango or similar site).

Thanks, I think I will stick with the Target deal for just Cars 2. They have the gift pack with two cars included and one movie ticket $24.95 minus the $8 mfx coupon = $16.99. My little boy will like that better than incredibles anyway.

I am sure they will have plenty in stock. Also, think about how many people don’t know about the good deal you can get using coupons and will shrug off paying $40 for two movies they may already have.

I was the first one in the Boynton Beach, FL store and they only have 4 Cars movies, and about 10 of the Incredibles…. maybe they will re-stock during the week. They took my coupons without a problem.
I went to the WPB, Wellington, and called the PBG Best Buys and you were right, no one had Cars… they got 5 total. I asked if they were getting them later in week and if they would have the ticket deals on them, they didnt know. Told the PBG store had it and started driving up there…so did the guy behind us. They called us enroute and said sorry, they dont have it!! Grrrr…

My closest Best Buy is like 20 mins away, so it would cost me more than it is worth to drive there for the deal. The second best deal which is only a mile away is at toys r us.
the Incredibles 29.99 Cars 24.99 when you buy both additional $10 off, then the $8 coupon and $10 coupon equals $26.98. Still a pretty good deal, only $5 more.

this is an awesome deal. I normally go to target for these deals.. but after all the discounts (and selling off my dvds) this is a MM in my book… I’m willing to drive across town!
Take a Target flyer, or a printout if you don’t have one, of the $22.99 Target offer for Cars and see if Best Buy will match it. Mine works well with me on coupons and price matching, and such.
I had no idea this was being re-released or I would have reserved at Movie Stop, since they guarantee the lowest price (compared to local, retail competition) of any release (with reservation). They sold the 4-disc of Tron: Legacy for $18.87 and incorporated the combo pack coupon in their price and gave the price to everyone! In addition, those that reserved got a free Tron: Legacy t-shirt and free full sized movie poster. What a deal!

Target won’t do that, in my experience, but Best Buy might. Target will only take the actual weekly flyer ad, (or in newsprint ad).
My Target would not price match the extra $10 off when you buy both. They told me they would only price match the price printed in the ad & no extra bundle pricing so I didn’t buy them there.
Worked for me. Just got back and the receipt adjusts the movies down to $19.99 on The Incredibles and took an extra $2 off from the price match down to $17.99 on Cars. This includes the $10 off for buying both at the same time. Then they applied the two coupons for another $18 off. So for two movies, with 8% sales tax, I paid $23.02 – $17 towards movie tickets = $6.02 or $3.01/movie. Just make sure the register doesn’t apply the $2 price match from Target to what should be $5 off the movie, because the register will do that. Again, your receipt should read $19.99 for Incredibles, and $17.99 for Cars, before the coupons but after the promo discount. Finally, this must also all be done at the customer service desk for the entire transaction, not at the regular registers. Good luck!

Best Buy WILL do both the coupons and the in store deal. You just cannot combine two coupons from Disney for the same movie, or two in store deals. If the person at the register gives you any guff, call Best Buy at 1-888-Best-Buy and customer support will set them straight (I had this problem a few months ago with a similar Disney promotion).
this is what I’m concerned about. When I was printing off the coupons I noticed that it said that they couldn’t be combined with any other offer. I hope that when I go to Best Buy that I don’t have any issues!

This worked great for me this morning at Best Buy. I go the last copy of Cars on the shelf (may have been more in back) but there were plenty of copies of Incredibles on the shelf. The cashier didn’t give me any problems about using both coupons and giving me the $10 off for the promotion. My total was $24.38 after tax!
My deal was even sweeter with my best buy rewards of $10. Total with tax 14 something. I don’t even own a blue ray. With the free movie tickets (we were planning on seeing it anyway) the dvd/blueray were more free!
I had a $10 rewards card certificate too, so my total was $14.60 after all discounts, coupons, rewards and tax.
Tried this promo this morning at our Best Buy. They would not allow me to use an in store promotion with the coupon. They said that the coupon stated that you could not combined it with any other offer. Tried to explain to the BOZO manager that they mean that I couldn’t use it with another manu. coupon of the same product. Called 800 number. Not much help. Wasn’t worth arguing about. Got both for 24.00 which wasn’t bad for 2 Blue rays and movie tickets. Wish they would get on the same page as every other Best Buy!
I called first to be sure they had some left. They said they had more than 20 of the incredibles but less than 10 of cars. She said she could get 1 of each and put them on hold for me until the end of the day! Hopefully the coupons just work!

The person at the register saw the coupons right away and said, “sorry we cant use them with the promo offer cause of the coupon language”. I asked for the Manager, two of them answered the call, one said no they werent allowed, the other said it was fine, but he had to manually change the prices on the computer as it wasnt accepting the coupons. Just a heads up for everyone.

Are only certain stores getting the copies of the blu-ray packs with the movie tickets in them? I was wondering if Walmart would have the same movies?
The movie tickets are from Disney Movie Rewards and automatically come up with you type in your Disney Movie Rewards code. They give you instructions on how to print it. I purchased the movies at Walmart and they price matched with Best Buy without any problems.
A no go for me as well at Best Buy! When she tried to scans the coupons, it said invalid coupon for both.

My best Buy had 10 copies of Cars and 20 copies of the Incredibles. I was 3rd in line to get in the store upon opening. Everyone walked in and started grabbing for the few copies available. I had my hands on the Incredibles and reached for the last copy of cars right next to it. I had it in my hands when someone behind me reached in the crowd and ripped the copy of Cars from my hand!!! After much searching for another copy of cars I left Incredibles there and went and price matched at Walmart…
Guess Best Buy should have stocked more! They lost out on my business. And seriously.. Who takes stuff from other peoples hands! Geez people be civil.
OMG that’s horrible…and embarrassing for the person who grabbed it out of your hand!!! I didn’t even think of going to Best Buy. I purchased both DVDs at Target. I don’t know if Best Buy will do the same, but Target is always very helpful- if there are no more items left on the floor, they do a search on their handheld scanner to see if they’re in the back. They were out of The Incredibles, so one of the guys called another local Target and had one of their employees hold it at Guest Services for me. They’re always so nice and willing to help. 🙂

If you have a Target near you, check there. And if you cannot get your copies before the MQs expire, most Targets accept expired MQs. Good luck!

I can’t figure out how to redeem the 2nd Cars2 movie ticket. When I go to the disneymovierewards.com/cars2movie link, it brings up the confirmation code for when I submitted the other code for the first ticket.
Do I have to do it under a different rewards account?

I didn’t have a problem. I actually just logged into my rewards account and entered the code on the home screen like I would any other code. On the left of the screen it popped up that I unlocked the digital copy and below that, a link to the movie ticket confirmation code. I printed the code from the first one, went back to the home screen and did it again and if gave me a different code. I went and activated my movie money and I’m ready to go.
Also, if you click on “MY DMR” next to “How it Works”, then “Unlocked Offers” on the “My Points” tab. It lists a link “Free* Movie Addmission to Cars 2.” I have two separate links.

Online and best buys in riverside county had not one single copy of cars!!! Way to advertise a movie you don’t have in stock best buy.
Went to Best Buy in Clackamas, OR about an hour ago and they had quite a few copies of Incredibles and about 8-10 copies of Cars left. The Incredibles had the sticker for the free movie ticket but Cars did not. I’m hoping there’s a code inside when I get it home even though it wasn’t marked. I had a $5 RZ certificate so I only paid $16.98. If there’s another movie ticket code, it’ll be like they were free.
TAKE IT BACK!!! You have the wrong one. The coupon sticker should be on the front packaging. I almost made the same mistake. You have the first version that was released.
They didn’t have any more with that sticker. I checked all of them and asked and they said if they had any they were already sold.
Update – unmarked package worked for movie ticket as well. I got two. Yay!
How did you get the unmarked Cars package to work to get the movie ticket?? Do you just enter in a UPC code or something? I just bought an unmarked Cars package and I’m afraid to open it (Once it’s opened, I can’t take it back).The Incredibles Blu-Ray is marked with the sticker though.
