In this article Walmart is basically stating that “it is ready to roll up its sleeves to win the lowest-price battle with its rivals”. Walmart said store managers will check competitors’ prices more frequently and the company will press suppliers to lower their costs and will simplify its “ad match” policy… read more here! This week my Sunday paper had a coupon “save 3.00 off any 2 arm and hammer dryer sheets” I looked at one Wal-mart near my house and did not see them there.
I was at a high priced local grocery store and they were 1.99 there so 2 boxes for 1.00 with the coupon. (not bad but if they are 1.99 there some store should have them for like 1.50 each or less for the 40 Ct.)
Does any one know who else carries these in the small boxes and for what price? Target maybee??
    Anybody elses Wal-mart.???
I am suprised none of the other blogs mentioned this coupon
Was I the only one who got it?
The problem is I can hold the coupon and when I am already at another store or in the area I can check, but to be honest with gas at 3.79 a gallon it has really cut back on all the deal shopping and hopping around that I used to do because it just used too much gas to stop and start the car and that takes away all the savings I am trying so hard to reach
    Thanks for listenng all!

  5. couponmickey

I couldn’t find the Revlon coupon. Did I miss it? I found Oral-B Advantage toothbrushes for $1.97. Use the $2/1 coupon fron P&G 4/3.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is the 1.97 before coupons or after?

      • couponmickey

The $1.97 is before, so $0.03 overage.

    • Collin

hmmm… I am not seeing the coupon anymore! 🙁 I will update the post.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

On the kens dressing why wouldn’t you use the buy one get one free coupon making them .69 each?

        • Amanda

Just a heads up. The carefree deal is limit 1. You would need to do 13 seperate transactions.

  7. Amber R.

Thank you so much for the Walmart Deals!!! I really appreciate it and Im sure many others do as well! 😀

  8. lily2614

I believe wanting to be competitive now with prices. I had preordered some movies online at walmart.com. It was movies that just came out. I had received them last week and I received an email today, I had been given a refund of $2.17 on each movie. It said competitor price adjust. I thought it was amazing, I didn’t even have to do anything. I think they are really watching that stuff now.

  9. Betty

I scored today on the Operation games AND they had the pizza peelies right there. I did however have difficulty with the cashier/manager as they said I could only use 1 per transaction. I said fine then I’ll do separate transactions with which they replied “only this time” and put them all through.. grr.

    • candace

I get that at Target sometimes too! And when I tell them…Fine I go thru over and over and over again, they give in and say that…ok just this one time :o)

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone in Utah know if Walmart carries Great Day All Natural Eggs? I’ve looked every time I go to Walmart and never find them, I’m assuming Utah doesn’t get them? Anyone know?

    • judy

The Wm around here carry them.

      • Cassie

    Happy Day!

  21. Lauren30

    Thanks so much Collin!

Does anyone know if the coupons that cause overages beep? I’m thinking of using the “self-checkout” to avoid hassling a cashier, but I don’t want to do it if the coupons are going to beep each time I use one that’s more than the price of the item. Thanks 🙂

    • Sheila

Yes, they do beep. I do all of my shopping at Walmart, and every time I use a coupon that gives overage, it beeps and a message pops up saying “valid coupon amount?” and the cashier has to push “yes.”

  22. kraftymomma2

The Cuponk game is cheaper at Target on sale for $8 use the $3 coupon and get it for $5.

  23. judy

If you are lucky enough to have the Revlon beauty tool $2 coupon, use it at Target. they have nail clippers for around $2 and the Catalina machine spits out a $5/2 and another $2/1 Revlon tools. When I used those coupons I got a nail clipper, toe nail clipper and a set of emery boards for just a few cents.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up! 🙂 iooooooooojjhuigttsewadfg;lkojhgfda

    • Christy H.

FYI, my Target in Carrollton, GA would not accept the Revlon coupon on the nail clippers or tweezers. Not sure why the register beeped, but customer service told me if the computer won’t take it then they can’t take it.

  24. mmn7303

I have a questions since I am new with coupons, The $3 off the operation game I printed says only for item shown. It doesn’t show the toy story one. Has anyone used this one on the toy story game? Is there another one for saving the $3 out there if this one doesn’t work? The same one is similar with the connect 4 (good only for item shown). Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    • Cayla

It actually says “Good only for items indicated,” which is the text on the coupon: “one Sorry!, Monopoly, Connect 4, Guess Who?, or Operation game.” HTH!

      • mmn7303

Thanks for responding. I do have that one, but I also have another $3 off one where it just shows the original game. I was hoping to use both. The cashiers at my Walmart usually sigh when I hand in coupons (maybe 5 at a time) so it makes me nervous every time I shop there.

  25. m_turnerhakes

I found more deals to go along with the Hasbro game coupons!! Our Wal-Mart (Janesville, WI) has tear offs for a free tombstone pizza (via mail in form) with the purchase of ANY Hasbro game, they are located next to the games!! You can do this offer 5 times per household!!! Stock up on some games for birthdays and/or Christmas and get some free pizza for a family game night now!!!

    • Amber

Hey!!! Janesville WI here also! Was the operation game for $5 there?

      • m_turnerhakes

        Yes it was!!!

        • Amber

Sweet! I picked up two of the Operation and two of the connect 4! I soo wanted to play operation tonight but my son’s bday is next month. 🙂

  26. Tammy P

I just got the deal at my Walmart! Thanks for sharing-saving this present for Christmas if I can wait that long!

    • mmn7303

Did you get the toy story operation game and connect 4 game with the coupons printed off the internet? I just want to know if this works before I try it tonight. Thanks!

      • s_montank

I did, but the machine beeped on the operation game coupon, and they wouldn’t let me use it. It looks like others might be having luck with it, though, so it doesn’t hurt to try 🙂 Plus, there was a tombstone pizza mail-in coupon to go with it.

        • Christy H.

My cashier scanned the coupons and they did not beep, but as I was leaving the store I realized they did not come off. I bought two Toy Story Operation games and two Candy Land games. So, I went back to her and she and I agreed that she scanned all of them. I went to customer service and the CSM read all the fine print and decided that the coupons were valid, so they gave me the money back. Not sure if this will work at all stores though. My store is in Bremen, GA.

  27. Shelley

I can’t find the Similac 1 qt (of any type) for less than $5.49 now at Walmart. Is anyone else getting it for less? It was $3.48 for a while but I think they raised the prices back up. I have three coupons I have been waiting to use. I have even had them price checked just to be sure. Has anyone seen them on sale anywhere else? thanks!

    • Sarah

My Walmart only has the Sensitive Spit-up formula priced at $3.84. All the rest have gone up in price too.

  28. Agnes

    Hi Collin,
I want to thank you for everything you do, your a BIG help!
But, I do have some bad news…My Wal Mart in Michigan is no longer doubling coupons 🙁 The cashier said that corporate told them to stop doubling coupons, but they can still do the coupon overage and price comparisons. I’m so bummed! That’s where I get the Newman’s own salad dressing the cheapest.

  29. Mary Jo

Speaking of the price match stuff…a couple of the Walmarts in my area (there are 3 within 20 miles of each other) will just price match stuff for you WITHOUT the ad. For example, if a local grocery store has their brand of milk on sale for $1.98, then the cashier will just tell you that they are PM’ing that stores milk deal for you. I LOVE IT!
I believe they even have a copy of the competing ads at the registers to keep track of.
It really helps because they are doing the work for you! 🙂

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t think anyone else has said this yet but I had a 1.50/1 coupon for the Philadelphia cooking creme and saw at Shaw’s this week they had a $1 off their normal price with your rewards card. Their normal price around here is $2.49 -$1(Reward savings) = $1.49 so your product ends up being FREE! I did this yesterday!

  31. Lpmousse

Oh my goodness. So I bought 3 bottles of Similac with the $5 coupons, and 2 one serving envelopes of Tide. I got up to the cash register, and the guy rang me up, and then claimed that he couldn’t give me the $1 off, but rather only $.97 on the Tide envelopes. It wasn’t worth arguing over $.06, so I said fine. Then it came up that he owed me $3.14. He didn’t know what to do, so he called over a supervisor, and then she took my order, did it correctly, and gave me my $3.20. But that was after 20 minutes of talking to her supervisors, and making a rude comment to me about how long this was all taking. If they are claiming that they give us money back, they should be prepared to do just that. Oh well- I got my $3.20. 🙂

  32. Gracie

A heads up on the Oscar Myer Hot dogs… I just got back from Walmart and was happy to see that they have the “select” which is what the coupon states its for, now has nitrate free hotdogs! AND turkey dogs that are nitrate free.. and the price is still $1.98. Just ate one and they are yummy!
I LOVE hotdogs but really backed off eating them a few years ago due to the nitrates. I had colon cancer 3 yrs ago and they have linked nitrates to colon cancer. I ate hotdogs all the time growing up. That said my cancer was actually a genetic cancer so all the hotdogs didn’t cause it… but they could have contributed to it, who knows. So you might want to consider getting the nitrate free for your kiddos! 🙂

Also, has anyone every shut a self check register down before? The craziest thing happened today.. while scanning my coupons the reg. froze.up.. the checker came over and fooled with it and after 10 mins. said we’re going to just have to re ring everything! GEEZ… I had a buggy load with a lot of coupons ;/ She was sweet though and made sure I got all my coupons off of my order. A real pain in the butt.. but it was nice to have a checker that never once complained or seem aggravated. 🙂

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

what zip code are you using for your w/mart links… sometimes I can’t find them at all….??? like the Tetley tea?????

  34. Gail

I just wanted to point out the Purex 3 in 1 laundry sheets are great for dusting after you’re done with them in the washer & dryer- better than regular dryer sheets which I’ve also used in the past.

  35. lori

    WHAT DO I DO?
So I was super excited about this game deal as my husband works for a children’s clinic. At Christmas they collect toys for kiddos. Anyway – printed several of these coupons – found the right games – checked out. Super nice girl. Quick. When coupon didn’t scan for her on the first try, she immediately hand-entered the coupon. All was good, so I thought. Got to my car and noticed why my bill was so cheap. She had hand-entered one of the coupons for $30.00 instead of $3. So I go back in. It is definitely the right thing to do.
I go back in. Cashier sent me to manager. Manager took me to customer service. (It is about 7:30 at night.) No one has a clue as what to do. They can’t figure out how to take the $27 I owe them. So she tells me to just come back tomorrow when the right person is there. I told her that I don’t live near this Walmart and don’t usually shop here as it is across town. She says, there is nothing she can do – that I will have to come back tomorrow. UGGHHH! I then tried to very kindly ask “Do you mean, that I will have to drive across town tomorrow to give you $27 because there was a cashier mistake?” In a totally condesending tone she replied – “Yes… that’s just the way life is sometimes. There is no other way I can help you.”
Obviously, I want to pay them. But this is SOOOO aggravating. Any suggestions???

    • Amanda

I personally wouldn’t go back if they were that rude about it.

      • Eryn

Go spend the extra money for your husband’s children clinic!!

    • Dianne

I commend you on your honesty and making the effort to do the right thing. If you are like me, you’ve certainly been overcharged for an item or not given credit for a coupon many times before, so I would consider it payback. I certainly would not use my time and my gas money to give them yet another chance to correct this mistake.

      • Lori

$27 seems like a bit if an excessive payback! I think I will just take the receipt to my wlmart next time I go. In the mean time I will try to contact corporate to make them aware of the situation
        Thanks.

    • Carrie C.

Wow! I know how tempting that must be. I would, definitely, go back and get it fixed. You will be rewarded, I’m sure. They may even tell you to not worry about it after you explain what you’ve gone through to get it fixed. But I would call first to see who you need to talk to at the store. That in itself may save you the trip. Also, you don’t have to go today, you CAN wait until your next outing. As far as the rude comment, just mention it to whoever you will be dealing with. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

      • lori

        Update –
I called the store manager. Very kind and helpful. After explaining – he immediately told me to just keep the difference for my trouble. He didn’t want me to have to spend any more time to fix the mistake. He then asked for the ladies name and said he would train her on the proper way to handle the situation.
Always pays to do the right thing on our end! Thanks for the input ladies!

  36. Toni

Thank you, thank you for the walmart deals!!!! We only have a walmart in our little town and the biggest town is still an hour and 15 minutes away!!! It helps us without the conveniences all of the other stores still enjoy the fun and save some money!!

    Thanks for all you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  37. Kristin

Cuponk and Connect 4 (regular size) are both on sale at Target this week for $8! Use the coupons to get them for $5 each!

  38. AKB

There is also a Monopoly Card game $5 which would pair well with the $3 off coupon. Select Character Memory Games are on sale for $5 – any coupons? Still a good deal. We got a Dora version.

  39. Rachelle

I thought I had posted this earlier but it looks like it didn’t go through. The Philadelphia Cooking Creme I got at Shaw’s Supermarkets. Their original price is $2.49 but they have an instant store savings of $1 off when you use your store rewards card and then you can use your $1.50 off coupon and it ends up being free 🙂

I’m not sure how close anyone else is to a Shaw’s but I figured it was worth telling if at least one person could get the deal!

  40. Casey

Like Collin says, BRING YOUR PRINTED OUT COUPON POLICY. I wanted to kick myself this morning! I had 2 coupons for $1 Hillshire Farms deli meat and for Oscar Meyer Selects. I had 2 of each product. The cashier said only 1 per transaction. I explained calmly it is one per item. She went to “ask someone” who also said 1 per transaction. I tried to explain that they were incorrect. The line was backing up and people were staring, so I left and called the manager. I wish I could have told them to take the items back! From now on I will have my policy in my coupon organizer. So frustrating!!

  41. Stacey

I’m new to this site and don’t understand when something says, ” See the 3/27 RP”…I assume 3/27 means the date, but what does RP or SS or PG mean?
    Thanks!

  42. Renee

I got a great deal today at my Walmart. I used my Little pet Shop coupon with the Blythe doll and pet. This just happened to be marked down to $5 – but was on the shelf for full price the coupon was for $5 so I got her for free. I pickef up the Operation game, and Cuponk! Great trip!

  43. Brandy

Did anyone else use the Similac $5 off coupon on the condensed can…I think all are under $5 dollars. At my wal-mart the reg can is $4.17 and they gave me the overage =)

  44. runfromreality

does anyone know if Target will price match Walmarts rollback prices? My Walmart is out of the toy story operation game!!
