Yeah, I went to one local store and the kids toothpaste scanned at 3.49. Ill have to check the website and see if i have another store closeby that is participating. This cashier didnt know anything about a mid week sale either. 🙁
There’s a better deal with the Stove Top Stuffing. It’s .88 at CVS and with my .50 coupon it was .38/box. Of course they only had the chicken variety but all Stove Top tastes the same to me. 🙂
Today I was able to get the turkey variety at my CVS using the coupon.

all coupons are regional, theres just no way to know which areas will get certain coupons.

Walgreens coupons do not count against your item to coupon ratio. Make sure you hand over the RRs before the Store Coupons.
Or check for Clearance items…sometimes they are located where they would normally be and not on an end cap. I think Wet N Wild costmetics is on sale for $0.69 as well.
I got the training toothpaste for free. MIne was on sale for $1.29 though.
However, the stove top stuffing and the chinet plates were not B1G1 free at my store. Bummer.
I got the Chinet B1G1 but the training toothpaste was $2.48. Not much higher but I only had a 75 cent coupon so it would be 73 cents after coupon and my kids are too old for training toothpaste so I’m not paying that much for toothpaste that will just get donated. I didn’t look for the stuffing. Our store has very little in the way of food and it is terribly organized and the Easter Bunny was there for pictures and people were crowding that aisle waiting in line so I didn’t bother.
I live in NW MI and no one in our district will be getting these deals. I talked to a district manager and was told that corporate did not send them this mid-week ad. Sad, was hoping to score on the Aquafresh kids deal!!

Used 2 .75 c toothpaste coupons, 2 $1.00 captain crunch, and 1 $ .50 captain crunch, and got 5 boxes captain crunch and 2 tubes of toothpaste today for $3.18 🙂
Is there any way to find out WHERE the mid week ad is available? I just got back from my Walgreens and asked and they looked at me like I had two heads. The Aquafresh was $3.49–not on sale.

Snagged free kids Aquafresh toothpaste at CVS today, it was on sale for $1 and I used the 1/1 coupon to get it for free. I am in OHIO.
I’m new to couponing at Walgreens and wanted to ask a question to those of you who have been doing this longer. I tried to get the Aquafresh toothpaste today. I had the coupon from the April Walgreens booklet and the coupon I printed out. I was told they are both manufacturer’s coupons so I could only use 1. It does say on the booklet coupon something about being a manufacturers coupon that can only be used at Walgreens. Does everyone’s say this? How are you all getting the paste for free? thanks in advance for any help.
I have been doing this for some time and just yesterday ran into your same issue. I called corporate customer service and they confirmed for me that you cannot stack the April. Savings Booklet Coupons with other Manf coups because they are both Manufacture. All the coups in my booklet say ‘Manf.’ I am so bummed.
Good news: since it is a manf coup, you should technically be able to use them at ANY store. I haven’t tried this yet. I sent my story/concern to Collin, waiting for her advice….
Nicole, thanks for your response. At least I know I was doing it right if they hadn’t changed the coupon book to man. coupons. Hopefully they will go back to regular Walgreens coupons. I’d be interested to see if Collin has any info on this.
I really don’t get what is up with my Walgreens! I went today and had 4 of the Aquafresh 75 cent off coupons and the ones for the April booklet and they told me I couldn’t do it! The manager came up and said that the coupons from those booklets are also manufacturer coupons. Then I realized she scanned the April booklet coups before the manufacturer coups and I asked her if she would void it and do the coups the other way around and she said it wouldn’t make a difference. So I just ended up getting one since my son needed it and I payed $1.11 for one when I should have paid 24 cents if they would have taken my coups. I am starting to give up on Walgreens. CVS never gives me issues!!

I don’t know! I went yesterday to Walgreens again to get the splenda deal that was $2.99 and I had 3 $3 coupons and they would only take 2. So i went to another Walgreens to do the 3rd one and they wouldn’t do it because the coupon was 1 cent more then the cost of the product!!!!!!!!!!! Every Walgreens has different rules and some cashiers take your coupons and some don’t! No one in that store knows their coupon policy and most cashiers there are very nasty. I ALWAYS have problems with Walgreens and none of the deal scenarios ever work for me 🙁 CVS always takes my coupons and never gives me a problem. I did the Dove men care deodorant deal at CVS yesterday and had 3 $1 coupons for the 99 cent sale and the lady just adjusted the coupon 1 cent each and I was on my way. Don’t think I’ll be doing Walgreens anymore!

Today I went into wlagreens to purchase a couple items. I had a $4/1 on any depends product. I found a package for $3.75 in the clearance section. When I went to check out the register beeped and the cashier did not know what to do. She called the manager and he told her to price modify the package to $4.00 instead of $3.75 like it was marked. At first I thought ok I’m still getting it free but then I realized that I would be paying sales tax on a $4 item instead of the $3.75. This did not sit well with me. Now I know it’s only a couple of cents difference in tax and that’s not a major loss by no means. But they will send in the coupon and get the full $4.00 returned to them and I’m going to pay more tax then I should. I also had the cashier tell me with attitude “it’s not like your paying for it. It’s free.” I don’t know maybe I’m being petty but this just seems wrong. I even showed the manager the coupon policy but that did nothing. He commented ” what it says and what really happens are two different things.” WHAT??? Anyone else see a problem with this?
I feel your pain about the tax, tonight I had so much overage at Walmart that I ended up paying .76 cents in tax on a .36 cent total bill lol 😉
WG was so wrong with me today 🙁 The cashier ask me to get something extra because I got four items and used 4 coupons. One MC went through and the 2nd one wouldn’t go through but the SC would go through. Cashier didn’t notice what the problem was and look at the item, got the manager and told me that i should get another item…ugh I didn’t wanted but i had no choice. after that cashier just manually enter in the coupon by hand. I wasn’t satisfy with my purchase b/c they told me to get something else. Then when i got back i remember that they were suppose to do a little adjustment to the coupon because the item (aquafresh toothpaste was a cent more than the sale price). as a customer, cashier, and manager I think its important to remember that the cashier should adjust the coupon when its on sale for a cent more. I do blame on them a little for not adjusting the coupon but i guess they to didn’t knew what was going on.
I went yesterday for the Splenda deal and got 3 with 3 $3 coupons and they wouldn’t do it either because the coupon was for 1 penny more then the price of the item! I asked them if they could adjust the coupon to 2.99 and they said they can’t do that! I just think they don’t know how to do that! So they made me buy something else too! It wasn’t too bad because I still got $15 worth of Splenda and only paid 22 cents instead of 0 but it is still annoying because you still are spending 22 cents for something you wouldn’t have bought otherwise without the coupons and the deal. WG is always nasty to me and rejecting my coupons! I’m going to stick to CVS where I NEVER have a problem!
