Off Topic – but I keep getting Hip2Save twitter updates for a giveaway where “5 Readers Each Win $50 Target.com Gift Cards + FREE Credit for Baby Clothing Network” but the link never works and today it says log-in is required. I’ve seen this update three or four times now and am really confused on what’s going on with it.

    • Collin

Thanks for letting me know about this Alea. I am working on fixing this issue right now. 😀

  2. Emilytwinmom

Seems a bit pricey… I have always recycled my old nail polish as my center says to – leave it open, dry it out, toss it into the trash! However, I have never tried Zoya polish… shipping kills the price of it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I agree

    • Mary

I agree that the shipping is too much,

    • Jessey

yeah especially $4 per bottle JUST for shipping. I’ll have to pass on this deal.

      • Tia

I’m passing too. I can’t pay $4 for a bottle of nail polish AND it says minimum 6.

        • mouni

I agree! Ecotools did something similar a few months ago and that was genuine. I sent them 1 empty lotion bottle and one old makeup brush and they sent me 2 coupons for two free ecotools products. that was a great deal. The shipping for those 2 items I sent cost me like a 1.50 only. 🙂

          • mouni

Collin, there is no way to edit anymore. 🙁
I also wanted to say that Zoya didn’t honor 2 facebook offers that I participated in before. 🙁

    • S

I don’t think its pricey at ALL! Their polishes are normally $8 plus shipping, and these are only $4 TOTAL. Thats awesome- their polishes are the best I’ve ever tried too. I just ordered 7 bottles 🙂 Can’t wait to get them!

  3. lana2201

I love the idea, but $4 shipping per bottle seems a little high. I don’t think I’ve paid $4 for the actual polish (with qpns)! 🙂

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

A little too much work for “Free Polish” that cost 2x what I normally pay.

  5. Ashley

i’m going to try out the deal, i’ve always wanted to try zoya and i have old nail polish to get rid of. If you think about it it’s 50% off the reg price because one bottle is normally $8.00!

    • Jessey

rimmel has some very pretty nail polish at walmart (it’s like $3.42 something) then use the rimmel $2 off coupon, it’s $142!!!!!…..my fav is the lava red, gorgeous dark color.

      • Jessey

        LOL I mean $1.42

  6. Lisa

I’m way too cheap to even spend $4 on a bottle of polish. Good deal though for those who are loyal to Zoya.

    • Stacey

      I have to agree!

    • Hollie

I’m with you on this one!!! I’ve been using the NYC coupons that have been out lately and got quite a few colors at Target for free or close to it. I really like the Sinful Colors that walgreens has but I always wait until they run them on sale for $1 before I buy any. LOL

  7. Jamie S.

I would pay 4 bulks for one but making me have to exchange a min. of 6 is the killer

    • Sarah

Same here. I’d be willing to try one bottle, but I don’t need six bottles of nail polish and I am certainly not going to pay $24 for it.

    • S

You don’t have to exchange if you don’t want to- go look at their facebook posts and the promo details on their website.

  8. Renee

I purchased the Zoya spring collection with their last promotion and it is extremely good polish, the colors are great and it applies better and lasts longer than any other polish brand I’ve tried. $4 for a bottle (including shipping) is a very good price for salon quality polish. I agree with the comment above, it’s the six bottle minimum that makes this promo a bit out of my price range right now, but if your looking for quality nail polish Zoya makes great stuff.

  9. Jess

I got 3 bottles back when they had their promo. I think I paid $7 shipping for all 3 bottles. The 6 bottle minimum is what makes this deal undoable for me. I’d happily purchase one bottle for $4. It’s high quality nail polish and worth $4 since I think it’s about 10 times better than the NYC that I’ve been getting for $0.72.

  10. Kathi

Am I totally missing this…Do I need to pay $4 per bottle that I send in (making it $24 minimum)?!!! Please tell me I’m reading it incorrectly. Even if it is just the $4 for the bottle they send me…guess Zoya is really nice nail polish.

    • Colleen

I’m confused in the same way! Did you ever figure it out?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think you have to pay $4 per bottle that they send you! With a min of 6, that $24! Ouch! Then you still have to pay to ship 6 bottles of your old stuff back to them. Should be around $1.50. Too much in my opinion!

  11. Bee

This would be a great deal for a nail salon. Kind of costly especially with the added cost of shipping back the old polish.

I know this isn’t salon quality polish but I have a bottle of Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro that I “purchased” for free with coupons.

I wash dishes and clean constantly. I am also washing my hands all the time. No nail polish has been able to stand up to this. This polish not only resisted coming off after spending time in dish water, etc., when it finally does wear off it does it in a very neat line, not chunks the way other polish would. I would say it lasted about six days before I even had to do a minor touch-up. I can only imagine how it would have lasted with a topcoat.

  12. Jean

Maybe you can go in on it with some friends if you don’t want to buy so many bottles?

I love this nail polish. I am too cheap to pay $4 for a bottle of nail polish too normally, but this is formaldehyde and camphor free. My daughter just turned 4 and before this I had never painted her toe of fingernails. I took advantage of the last promotion they had and was very pleased w/ the quality of the polish (comparable to OPI, but without the yucky stuff). Now I feel comfortable letting her paint her nails and can’t wait to have a “girls day out” at the salon :)!

  13. Miriam

I hate the idea of buying polish without seeing it in person. I’m really bad at imagining what it’ll look like under it’s on my fingernail.

  14. Amyt

I absolutely LOVE this polish. I got three bottles earlier this year with the Facebook deal. I agree that $4 is steep for couponers, but this polish is worth every penny. I painted my toenails (2 coats color, no topcoat) and 3 weeks later there wasn’t a chip or even a white line at the end of my nail! I have never even had a salon pedicure last like that. It goes on easy and doesn’t smell terrible. I like that it is earth friendly too. I’m in with my mom for 6 bottles! Thanks Hip2Save!

    • Jean

Same here! 2 coats, no top coat. 3 weeks later it’s still on! ALL on. I love it!

  15. Janet

    Great Polish!!!
This of wonderful gift for your girl friends. Tie up a couple bottle in a pretty ribbon and you had a wonderful gift of QUALITY and without all the chemicals in the cheap stuff!!
    FREE SHIPPING!!!

  16. Brandi

It would be a good deal if the $4 included you shipping the old polish back! I am not paying $24 and then also paying whatever the cost is to ship it back. I would love new polish bc I have two little girls and my 2 year old loves having her nails painted. I guess Ill watch for a better promo.

    • Snow

Their nailpolish reg. price is $8 + shipping… This way you are paying half price for each polish and no shipping, thats what it basically comes out to. Also they do not require you to mail your old polishes. You can donate them or give them away to someone, they said that if they don’t get any polishes back they wont penalize anyone, they just want you to do something good with your useless polishes.

  17. Mary

Love Zoya nailpolish and I’m kinda a green freak too, so this is a great deal. I have 4 girls in my house so 6 bottles are no problem. I might just save them for Xmas cuz I’m always thinking ahead.

  18. Blair

Thank you… I think this is a great way to “do your part”. I pay eight dollars for OPI, and this is good for the Earth, so I gave this a try! Thanks again. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Agreed! I am a cosmotologist and pay a lot for my polishes. Might have to try this brand out.

  19. Natalie

I love Zoya. I will be dong this for sure!:)

  20. Joy

I’m guessing even if it only saves me one pedicure this summer then this has paid for itself! I absolutely love the great idea behind it also. I’m glad to pay a little extra for quality and to support a company that supports the environment.

  21. M

you have to pay $4 PER bottle and a minimum of 6 bottles!! So you have to pay AT LEAST $24!!

  22. Marie

I think $4 for a nail polish is way too much. Ladies, you should go to ULTA for a good deal. They have a $5 off $10 coupon on their website. And they have Ulta nail polishes buy 2 get 2 free. And they are $5 a piece, so you will pay $5 for 4 nail polishes.

    • Kelley

Can you link to the $5 coupon? I can only find one for 3.50.

    • S

Their nail polish kinda sucks though. I have a couple bottles of it and it doesn’t last very long on my nails.

      • Marie

I think it really depends on the nails. I’ve had really cheap nail polish that was much better quality than expensive ones. For example, I spent $8 on an OPI and it didn’t last one day on my nails. And a lot of people love OPI and have no problems with it. So I guess whatever works for one might not work for somebody else.

  23. Maria B

I took advantage of this deal…even though I have no polish to ship back. I read all the fine print including the line that said this deal was not contignent on shipping the polish back to them. If I had old polish to ship back I would but since I don’t….

  24. Katie Ellen

I went through a lot of trouble several months ago (when Zoya was having their free samples promotion) to pick out shades to try. I never got any. I know they were free, but, I think if I spend half an hour on your site picking out shades and you promise me something, I should get it. I won’t be patronizing this company.

    • Kristin

Come to think of it, I never got mine either. I had forgotten about them!

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Too much for me to waste on polish! Gotta buy diapers instead..lol!

  26. diane

I tried these nail polishes for the first time a few months ago with the facebook offer and got 3 polishes and have to say they are worth the price. I don’t splurge on much, but this polish is worth every penny as it goes on great and stays on much better than other polishes, dries quickly and has no odors like most polishes. My polish used to come off in a day and this really lasts much longer.

  27. olymama

I just typed up a long comment and my internet crapped out so it disappeared. Soooo annoying! Anyway, I did this deal last year and I really like this polish. I switched so I could have healthier polish for my daughter (who is 3 now) and I to wear. I researched what colors to buy. There are so many blogs where people “model” the polish and describe it (you can literally find anything on the internet!). I got a variety of colors that both of us like. My favorites are Freja (a lovely gray) and Isla (beautiful red). I also really like Moxie (dark pink), Mimi (glittery purple), Ivanka (glittery green), Kalista (brownish), and Astra (glittery pinkish). It’s nice that this year you do not have to mail the polish back as I was surprised at how much that cost last year. Those glass bottles get heavy!

  28. MommySpendsLess

Great timing as always Collin. I painted my 21 month old daughter’s toe nails for the first time last week but I had no idea that most brands contain so many potentially harmful chemicals. I’ll probably keep using the cheap kinds for myself but I think the next time we do her nail it will be with Piggy Paints or something similar. I would snag this deal for her but We don’t need 6 bottles.

  29. jill

So glad to hear the positive comments. It is a splurge for me but just the prompting I needed. I’m trying to move towards less & better (in this case fewer chemicals) in baby steps. I freecycled 24+ bottles of nail polish and kept 6 of the smallest to mail back to zoya. I think with the flat rate mail options it shouldn’t be any more than $4.95 to mail them back.

I know that not every deal is for every person but 95% of them are for me and usually I know someone who would like those other 5%. Thanks Collin for all that you do!

  30. Mandy

I myself am a big couponer and really get most of my groceries/non food items for rock bottom. However, I am a makeup junkie & $4 for Zoya polish is suchhhh a good deal. I understand people may want to buy NYC with the Qs because of the low price but Zoya polish blows drugstore brands out of the water.

    • S

Yep, same here! I spend all of my food/toiletry savings on beauty products and shoes. LOL
