No prints left on the Dove Deodorant 🙁

    • Lindsey

Do you think that the sale price of Dove will go into effect tonight? And does anyone know what time if it does?

      • Diane

The sale starts at 6:00 on Saturday night at my store.

      • Margie

My store starts at 9am Saturday for sale prices on Sunday. 🙂 So your store varies.

      • melissa

it depends on when your store activates the Sunday ad. Each store is different, so you can either call and ask, or stop in and scan something. Usually, the girls/guys are putting up the sales tags in the afternoon. My store I can shop anytime after 4pm and get tomorrows prices/ecbs. The only ECB that won’t print are special 2 or 3 day sales, those don’t get activated until after midnight.

      • Lori

The manager at my store told me that they will not start Sunday’s ad on Saturdey till 4 pm and that they are going to do this only for a short time and that all CVS’s Sunday ads will only be activated on Sunday’s…no more early activations in the near future :o(… Oh well…althought I’m not real sure I believe everything she has to say cause last month she said the Rite aid’s wont be for much longer because CVS is buying them out…??? go figure.

    • Collin

Thanks for the heads up, Amanda! I just updated the post.

  2. anna

I printed the coupon for the Dove yesterday (same link from different blog) but the coupon is for bodywash?

    • Princessbooboo

When I printed last week, 2 coupons were printed by clicking that page. 1 for deodorant and 1 for body wash!

  3. Megan

I am relatively new to couponing, so forgive me if I did not get a good sale (hah). They had Duncan Hines brownie mixes on sale for 12/$10. I bought two (each $0.83), and had two $.50 coupons that I printed from I believe here… so I got two brownie mixes for each $.33

PS- the sale signs are already up for tomorrow so they gave me the price 🙂

    • Collin

Great deal! Thanks Megan – I will definitely add that! 🙂

  4. Brianna

Thanks! Quite early today, lovin’ it!

  5. Kris

What zip code did you use for the Arm and Hammer? I don’t show that coupon for my zip.
    Kris

    • Collin

Hmm, Kris. Looks like its gone? 🙁 But I forgot about the $3/2 coupon that you should be able to use for an even better deal! I updated the post.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What are the zip codes that some of you mention that need to be used? I’ve never been asked to supply one, and wonder f I am missing out on something. Thanks and Happy Easter!

      • micaela

        was the $3/2 regional?

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

went to the link to the arm & hammer laundry detergent coupon and there is only 1 coupon for laundry detergent and its $1/2 so they would cost around 1.75 each not 1.35

  7. Amy

off topic—-does anyone know if there are supposed to be any coupon inserts in the paper this weekend?

    Thanks!

    • Sarah

      nada this week

    • Collin

Nope…no inserts due to Easter! A great time to spend with your family and friends! 🙂

  8. Nycra

A few weeks ago I did the nexxus deal, I still have my 10.00 ECB, does anyone know if I can use this ECB towards the purchase of the Nexxus & get the 10.00 ECB again? I just had a new CVS open down the street from me & they sent me a 10.00 off 20.00 so I thought this with the 10.00 ECB would be great to get more nexxus. Thanks in advance.

    • Krystal

Yes, CVS is not like Walgreens. You can use the EB from that deal the other week on the deal this week.

    • Collin

      Hi Nycra!
Yes, it is a new sale so you can use the previous $10 Ecb on this new sale. It sounds like this could be a very sweet deal for you! You could do the following –
Buy 2 Nexxus Therappe Luxury Moisturizing Shampoo 13.5 oz $9.99 (based on online price)
Buy 1 Nexxus Thermal Volume Volumizing Heat Protection Mousse 8 oz $10.99 (based on online price)
      Total $30.97
Use the $10 off $20 home mailer coupon
Use 3 $3/1 Nexxus product coupons from previous home mailers or sample requests (if you have them)
      Use your previous $10 Ecb
      Pay $11.97
      Get back a $10 Ecb
Final cost $1.97 for all 3! Awesome! 🙂

      • Nycra

SWEET! Thank you both. Unfortunately I used all of my 3.00 nexxus coupons to get the last nexxus 10.00 lol. That’s ok though, I think I have 14.00 in ECB with that 10.00 off 20.00. I love nexxus but hate the price tag, so this will work great as my ECB’s expire 4/28. Thanks so much again. Michelle

  9. Kris

    Thank you very much 🙂

the Nair hair remover print coupon ( save $3 of 2)

    • Collin

      Thanks Alli…updated the post.

  11. lisa

I WAS IN CVS THIS MORNING, SALE ALREADY STARTED, THIS IS IN NORTHERN OHIO.

  12. DP

Just a heads up – My CVS mananger told me they are not allowed to post the sale signs until after 4 on Saturdays now, and anyone that got caught doing so would be terminated. An email from Corporate, Now whether this means the actual sale can’t start, I don’t know.

    • Krystal

Same policy in the area I’m in…they are not allowed to activate the sale or put up the sale signs until after 4pm. My stores used to activate it at 7am when the store opened, but the manufacturers/companies were complaining and so corporate enacted that policy to the stores.

      • DP

Are you in FL Krystal? I wonder why the company would care?

        • Krystal

No I’m in VA. Apparently by activating and put up the new ad and taking down the old ad, the manufacturers/companies sponsering the sales are feeling like they’re getting jipped because the stuff they’re paying for isn’t being promoted as long as it should.

          • DP

Oh , that makes sense. Thanks! 🙂

          • Alessandra Meadows

            Hi Krystal,
What part of VA? I’m in Williamsburg…..

            Alessandra

            • Krystal

              Virginia Beach

  13. Betsy

    Nycra,

Yes, unlike Walgreens, you can use your CVS Extrabucks on the same item. You can basically use your EB’s for anyting you want but prescriptions, gift cards, stamps, lottery tickets, alcohol, money orders, pre-paid cards. I think I got all the exceptions.

    • Krystal

      and tobacco

  14. Angela Holland-Borens

Here is a link for the dove deordorant. I found out that many website have coupons direclty on their site.
    https://dove.us/mencare/Products.aspx

    p.s. its a brick coupon

    • Collin

Hmm…I think the deodorant coupon is still gone 🙁 . It printed a coupon for $1 on any Dove Men+Care body wash 13.5 oz+, body and face bar 6-pack or larger, or Active Clean shower tool coupon for me? 🙁

      • Angela Holland-Borens

Sorry about that when I printed it, it said men care body wash I don’t like when you print coupon and it changes that happen few times to me.

        • Angela Holland-Borens

Sorry about that, it said mens care deodorant but when I printed it, it said body wash. I don’t like when that happens.

  15. Juanita

I just love that you put some easy scenarios for new couponers. Thank you Colin. Have a wonderful Easter.

    • Collin

You’re Welcome! Happy Easter to you too! 🙂

  16. xtophq

Keep an eye out for $4 Blink Tears peelies also!! I have seen a lot at CVS and Rite Aid! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up, I look at my CVS and they had a whole bunch on almost all the boxes.

    • Ree

thanks for this post. I wasn’t going to do this deal but because of your post i checked it out while I was there and found a box with the $4 q on it. I was so excited to not only get the deodarants, but to make $4!!! Thanks again!

  17. Betsy

Shouldn’t the Wonka Exceptionals bars be $1 each with the coupon?

    • Collin

      Hehe…oops! You’re right!

  18. Jess

Thanks for the dove coupon link, but the coupon is for dove b/w, soap bars, or shower gels. Not for the deodorants on sale 🙁

  19. Wendy

I love the way you have this matched up and I love your page!! 😀

  20. Dana

Does anyone know if cvs can accept expired EB’s? I have one that expired on 4/17 that I completely for got to use! and it’s $10!!!

    • Kelly

My store will take expired ECB’s. I think most will especially if it is within a week or two.

    • melissa

YMMV. Some stores will take them, other won’t. Call or talk to your manager. Sometimes they will as a ‘one time thing’.

    • TammyB

Dana one of the clerks here @ my CVS told me that they would accept expired ECBs. I hate to not use them and have thrown expired ones away before. Hope this helps.

    • Diane

My CVS accepts EB’s that are expired up to one week.

      • Julie

Mine accepts them for up to a year, so YMMV depending on the store. Good luck!

    • Dawn

I guess it depends. I had some that expired 4/12 and some that expired 4/21. I mistakenly thought they all were 4/21, but the store I went to accepted all of them. Although he did say that they were only supposed to accept them for one week past the date.

      • Betty

I wasted $45 in ECBs in Feb, I had to go home to Canada and wasnt back for 2 months so they are super expired. Does anyone know whether it would be worth contacting corporate and explain what happened, since its so much, its so hard to swallow losing that much but I wonder if they can do anything or if I would just sound silly trying to get something after so long… any opinions or experiences?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s worth a try. Also, my CVS in Ohio takes all expired CVS coupons & ECB’s period. I’ve used some of the magic coupon machine’s coupons up to 2 years old. It’s wonderful. My daughter living in Maryland was sick and unable to get to her CVS. She saved her expired coupons and used them at our local CVS when she came home for a visit. That specific CVS get’s a majority of my business due to this manager’s policy.

        • Heather

After I had an emergency C section and complications I contacted my store and they GLADLY accepted all my expired ECB! It never hurts to ask!

    • joy

My CVS will take ECB and CVS Coupons up to 30 days after the expiration date 🙂

  21. Brandi

I got a free glade product coupon in the mail this week. Does anyone know if the amount of the item will count toward the glade product total toward earning the ecbs?

    • Krystal

It should count towards the product total toward earning the ExtraBucks.

    • DP

As long as it is a spring scent, which is what the coupon is for.

      • Jen

I haven’t seen any of the spring scents in my CVS.

  22. Suzanne

Does anyone use the Arm & Hammer laundry detergent? I would love to try it, but hesitant. I have a daughter with mild sensitive skin.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just picked up Arm & Hammer for the first time this past week & love the smell of it. I bought a smaller bottle to just try it out. It was the Fresh Scent w/ Oxi Clean. Going to get more thru the Walgreens deal.

      • Suzanne

Do you think it works as well as Tide (what I usually use)?

      • Virginia

I have very sensitive skin and only used Tide for years. I switched to Arm & Hammer several years ago and love it. Works great and a much better price.

    • Emily

Yes Arm and Hammer works as well as tide, it is one of my favorite brands!

  23. jmbrown4681

Does CVS have a limit to how many of one same coupon you can use? I can’t find there coupon policy??

  24. brooke

The scenario about Clean & Clear suggests buying 4 body washes, and using 2 BOGO free coupons as well as 2 $2/1. Is that right? I would have assumed that you would need to buy 6 body washes to use all of those, since you’re covering all 4 body washes with just the 2 BOGO coupons. You can use an additional manufacturer coupon on the coupon item you’re getting free? Hope my question makes sense.

    • leah

You can use a bogo coupon with an amount off coupon. The $2 off will come off the product you are buying, and the second one you will get free. 🙂

      • brooke

Awesome! I have never done that before because I always assumed it was breaking the rules. Thanks for the info!

        • muser

It’s definitely a YMMV scenario that will depend on what store you’re at. I have not been able to do that at any store I’ve tried, CVS, Target, Kroger, or Meijer, but everyone on this blog seems to be able to do it.

  25. Ceri

Yay! I got a free glade coupon today for up to $3.99. That should fit in nicely with the $10 requirements in order to get the EBC. 🙂

    • DP

As long as you get a spring scent.

  26. ashley

On the glade stuff…if you use a coupon to get something free on one of the items does that count towards the $10 to get the ECB?

    • ashley

oops nevermind – i see someone else already asked.

  27. Dania

Looks like some nice deals this week 🙂 Happy Easter everyone. Hope you enjoy time with family and friends.

    • Collin

      Happy Easter! 🙂

General ?: How comes I never have half the coupons from the SS or RP that you post? Does different states get different coupons in their papers?

    • MommySpendsLess

Coupons are regional, they vary not just by state but by city as well. The papers for the larger metros usually have better coupons than the small town papers.

  29. amber

General ?: How comes I never have half the coupons from the SS or RP that you post? Does different states get different coupons in their papers?

    • Collin

Unfortunately, the coupons in the Sunday paper are regional and they do vary from city/state 🙁

  30. jmartcougar

just got another dove coupon in the mail so I have 4 dove coupons for deodorant yay!

  31. shay

i called my cvs to see when the deal started and she told me today (saturday) so i went there to get the deal for the dove deodorant and they were still marked as 4.67 so i asked the worker if they were on sale maybe they didnt mark them he told me he didnt know was no help at all i was upset

    • MommySpendsLess

You can price check items on the magic coupon machine – that way you’re not dependent on an undertrained employee.

      • Danielle

So nice to know!! I am always bugging the cashiers on Saturdays when I go in & I always felt bad – now I won’t have to 🙂

  32. casey

RE: Time new sale n effect / Expired EB’s
1). Mgr. stated that ALL CVS’s are now programed to give the customer the better price starting at 4p.m. Previously she said they could do it at noon but No more.
2). The register w/ automatically give u Sunday’s deal if better than Saturdays, or if not on sale previous week will ring at sale price after 4pm.
    3) She did say that they have on some items had problems the day before (Saturday) getting EB’s to print.

EXPIRED EBs she said the following:
1). They can accept them no problem if w/in one week b/c corporate w/ not know when they accepted them (or even expired q’s) because they don’t send them (q’s) n but once a week.

2). Beyond that w/ the EB’s she said she w/ only take them for the one week but that ymwv depending on store.

    • MissyLIz

I work for cvs and the email we received from corporate stated that non-24hr stores may start the sales at 4pm on Sat, but no earlier. The 24hr locations are not permitted to start the sale until 9pm.

  33. Kathy

My CVS will accept expired ECB or the $5 off $25 etc as long as it’s CVS coupons. My daughter found some in a purse the other day back from August and they accepted them. She just told them she had forgot about them and the manager said….no problem! I still try to use mine before they expire, bt sometimes I don’t use the dollars off a purchase that I get in my emails until a week or two later. They always beep, but the sales person over rides it and gives it to me anyway! LOVE IT!

  34. Wendy

Just a heads up on the Centrum Silver the $2 coupon thats printing is stating that it is for the 150 ct. not the 110

    • Collin

Oh bummer 🙁 …thanks, Wendy! I’ll update the post.

  35. Mitch

This is my first vacation since following you, it is a little wierd for this shopaholic not to be able to print coupons and do my shopping lists from your posts!
Thankfully I have a laptop so at least I can check out the site daily!
Thanks for all you do and Happy Easter to you and your family!
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

  36. Trish

My store starts their sale on Saturday also. In my store the Clean and Clear Body Wash was $5.99 not $4.99. I also snagged a great deal on pantyliners. I got a CVS q for $1 off any carefree body shape panty liner. Combine that with the $0.50/1 final price $0.07! Love me my CVS!!

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone have the Physicians formula coupons that could be e-mailed to rhw982000@yahoo.com

  38. Selene

There is a blinkie at the candy aisle in my store that gives out “buy 1 get 1 free” on snickers caramel. Could possibly be paired with the B2G1 free Mars single deal. But the net result is the same as the B2G1 free coupon anyway.

The magic coupon machine printed a $1 off any Godiva Gems bag, and select flavors (the Milk Chocolate Gems in my store) are on clearance – retail $5.99, supposedly 25% off at $4.34 (on the tag) but scanned to be $2.89 at the register, so I got a bag for only $1.89!

  39. Kelly

Anyone know if the $5 Physicians Formula coupon would apply to the make up brushes? It says any full size PF product so I wasn’t sure. Thanks!

  40. Kris

Just got home from shopping, I found the Blink with a $4 coupon attached to it! $3 profit for me!!!!

  42. Erica

My CVS would not accept my dove deo coupon because it said “redeem at walmart” on it. Anyone else have that problem??

  43. Nancy

The dove coupon that I printed a couple of days ago says ‘(Redeem at Walmart)’ on it. Can i use this at CVS? Does anybody know?

    • Krystal

See and the thing is it says its a manufactuere’s coupon as well as it is coded as a manufacturers coupon. You can argue that, and say that it doesn’t say “redeem ONLY at walmart”…redeeming at walmart is a suggestion in walmart…walmart wants you to shop there. Just like in the inserts when they advertise the coupon pairing with a sale at kmart for instance…doesn’t mean that you cant use it somewhere else. My personal opinion, but it’s up to the manager.

      • Erica

I tried to explain that without any luck 🙁

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The sweet N low is not in the ad, so. cali. Which page, I also price checked it is ringing up as 3.29 Any idea?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

When I go on their website, the Sweet N Low deal is on the second page.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Not seeing it.

      • Collin

It’s on page 2 for me. But that is so odd, I just typed in the zip 93257 at CVS.com to look at the online ad and noticed it was not listed in that zip’s ad!? So weird…bummer! 🙁

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you Collin, appreciate your help.

  45. Tina in East Texas

Thanks for all the great deals you post, Collin! I went to CVS Sat. afternoon and got that Rimmel matte foundation deal, as well as some of the new week’s deals that were already going into effect cause of it being Sat. afternoon. My total was $46, after coupons and ECB it was only $5, and I got $6 in ECB! So… it was like getting paid $1 to take all that stuff! HURRAY!

P.S. I love how your blog is decorated for Easter! Hop2Save! 🙂

  46. angela fabian

my cvs was out of dove deo, BUT i went to WALMART and they had tons. Their policy to honor the competitor ads went great, got 4 deo’s for free!

  47. brittney

none of the cvs’ in my area (grand rapids) has the duncan hines brownies 🙁 my boys were sad.

  48. Jan

I just went to CVS and she wouldn’t take the dove coupon because it was 1.00 and the deoderant was 99 cents. I also had to argue with them about the buy two get one free candy coupons. Maybe I will go try another CVS, my luck they won’t have any. Bad thing is the coupon expired 2 days ago so I can’t price match at Walmart.

Yay! A different CVS took my dove coupons no problem. Bought three, cost me .26 cents. The lady behind me said she wants to go shopping with me lol.

  50. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have a raincheck for 40% off Physician Formula makeup from last weeks sale. So if I go in and use my raincheck and coupons will I get ECB???
