It does say at the bottom in fine print that Hawaii and Alaska are not included. Does it cost more to ship to these states?
Beverly, I feel for you…I have family in AK. Unforturnately, many offers are only good in the contiguous 48. If a product is sold in HI or AK, they should be able to participate…regardess whether or not if is costs a little more to mail–it’s called “cost of business”.
Exclusion from offers isn’t always because of the state in which you live, it can also be because you do not have a “standard street address”. Several times I’ve been excluded because they don’t accept PO Boxes, or RRs.
Ironically, my nephew, who is a Fish & Wildlife officer for AK was excluded from the Pemican “Outdoors” give away promo a while back. Funny, he’s actually an outdoorsman to the enth degree…he hangs out of helicopters tracking the movement of moose, caribo, polar bears, and monitors the salmon runs. In the summer, lives in a tent and bathes in the streams–sounds like an OUTDOORSMAN to me??? And because he never knows how long he’ll be gone, he has to have a PO Box. However, some promo specialist (who’s probably never been outside the city)…believes people with PO Boxes should be excluded. Ya just gota luv the stupitidy of some of these arrogant advertising execs!
