I highly recommend NOT doing this. I had thought that Omega3 Gummies were the answer we needed for our eczema ridden toddler who suddenly stopped taking flavored fish oil. I bought a bottle at Walgreens and almost gagged (totally serious) when i opened the package…they smell horrible and taste even worse. i told my two year old, it was candy…she spit it out! i tried another time but she could smell it coming a mile away. seriously GROSS!
if you need omega 3’s and can’t swallow a pill, i’d recommend the flavored liquids or flax seed oil cause its much easier to disguise in drinks/foods. maybe other brands have a decent tasting gummy(i know shaklee has one i haven’t tried yet) but this one is NOT GOOD!

I had the EXACT same experience!!!! Used for my child b/c of eczema as well…but I bought the HUGE container at Costco!!! Thankfully they took it back bc I told them my child wouldn’t even eat 1…they smell horrific!!! 🙁

        yep, i returned them too.

did you find a better option? my daughter loves chewables and gummies of all kinds but i can’t get her to take anything on a spoon(she used to beg for Twinlab brand cherry cod liver oil) We’re lucky she’s still young & gullible enough that we can sneak flax seed oil into her sippy cup but soon, we’ll need another option.

I think they’re gross too, but all my kids care about is that they actually get to eat “candy” everyday. Apparently, my kids are such sugar freaks that it doesn’t even matter to them if their candy tastes like fish!

Same here. I threw away the whole bottle. They smelled so bad and tasted even worse. There was no chance that my kids would eat these.

My toddler has eczema. We started drinking raw milk and it cleared up in less than a week! It was amazing… just had to pass that on.

I know this isn’t a q comment but I have treated my autistic son biomedicaly and I know about nutrition. I use Barleans Total Omega 3-6-9 Pomegranate-Blueberry flavor. It is a liquid and my son who used to be very sensory disordered had no problem with flavor. It is important to take a synergistic 3-6-9 oil combo to have it work right. I also love the Little Critters multi-vit because no gluten, dairy, soy and many other things. Barleans cost around $19 at most health food stores, found in the refrigerated section.
