Rite Aid: Slide Lighters $0.49 (after +Up Reward)
Here’s another great deal for all you Rite Aid shoppers! If you’re planning to head to Rite Aid to stock up on the *HOT* Duracell batteries deal, then you may want to snatch up a couple of lighters as well. Currently, when you purchase any Slide Lighter priced at $1.49, you’ll snag a $1 +Up Reward making your final cost only $0.49! There does not seem to be any limit on the number of +Up Rewards that you can receive so you may want to snatch up a couple of these lighters. Also keep in mind that if you have reached Gold Member status with your Wellness card, then you’ll pay only $1.19 for this lighter so ONLY $0.19 after the $1 +Up Reward.
On a side note, I found these lighters in the checkout aisle.

What store did you find the lighter at? I’ve been to a couple stores, but can’t find them.
I think it’s for any BIC pocket lighter item. I used mine to purchase a pack of 5 BIC Classics at Walmart that was retailing for $3.22.
I found the 2 packs of the newer designs at CVS. They were on an end cap by the groceries. HTH!

gahhhh my brother JUST paid $2 yes $2 for one lighter at rite aid on sunday!? and he lost it after 2 ciggaretts!? (can’t spell, i don’t smoke lol) (i made him take me sunday shopping, i’m only 15 lol) 😉
well you must be an awsome 15 yr old if you are already wise enough to be getting into couponing! Thats awsome! .maybe you can find these, stock up a bit and use them as payment for taking you shopping! LOL

They did have these lighters on clearance at my rite aid for $0.74. If the qualified for the $1 +UP Reward they would be FREE + $0.26 MM!
I just grabbed three of these and with my 10% discount, they were $1.34 a piece with $1 UP back making three of them $1.02 🙂 Using the Wellness $1 coupon from VV and they were free.
I did have to ask where they were because they were on the counter right next to the register, but something was covering them up.
Over bought on the batteries now I’m going to return some and grabbed some lighters. My husband is constantly losing them.

I did this this morning, but it did not apply my Gold discount to them. It applied it to everything else, but not these because it is considered a tobacco product. I also couldn’t use an UP I earned toward the purchase of a new one.
Weird. My 10% discount applied, no problem.
Maybe it depends on your state or county laws?
UPs have an ^ which states can not be used on tobacco, alcohol, stamps, etc. It is listed at the bottom of receipt with UPs print. I would assume that’s why you could not use UPs to purchase “tobacco” product even if you only want to light candles.
I didn’t get my Gold discount either… I wonder why. I did get the +Up though! I’m in Atlanta, GA.
In TN the discount didn’t apply either 🙁 They said no discount on tobacco products. Still a good deal @ .49! My free Breathe Right strip coupon scanned for 5.99 and they were only 4.39 w/discount!!! Also the manual proglide razor was 8.79 w/ discount so .21 MM after UP rewards!! At least that covered some of the tax!!!
My Gold discount worked just fine in Ohio.
Hee! Hee! I don’t smoke so when I saw the picture and read the words, I thought it was a highlighter that lit up! Duh! A highlighter that lights up when I am using it, but I don’t need a lighter for cigarettes!

How is this considered a tobacco product? Did the cashier tell you this?
The register even prompted the cashier to ask for my birthday, Here you cannot buy any tobacco related products if you are under 18.
I got the discount….the lighters were 1.19 each then $1 I got the $1 up reward…..so 19 cents

didn’t work here in ga either no discount no up’s…. got a few batteries that had just came in. otherwise the shelve clearer got there ahead of me… did any body else get the free socks??? they were priced .75 and used the coupon from the balloon (charity donation).
OMG! I just went to riteaid and these lighters were on clearance 25% off making them 1.11. I asked the lady at the counter if i would get my plus up because they were clearanced and the +up wasnt advertiesed on them and she said no. I told her about the site and that they should have been 1.49 with 1.00 +up so she just rang them up at .49 ea. I grabbed 6 of them and it turned out that the +up was still valid so i got PAID .51 ea to take them outta the store. 6 lighters at .49 ea and got 6 dollers back! WHAT A STEAL!
Seemed to be unlimited at my store in southern Ohio. $1.19 minus $1 Ups. Got about 20 (2 at a time) for only $.19 each. ROLL THOSE UPS!

i bought the batteries at rite aid today for $2.24 and used my P&G coupon $1 off. also got no nonsense socks for $.75 minus $1 coupon from donation balloon. and john frieda foam hair coloring was $11.99 and i used $5 off rite aid coupon plus $5 coupon from newspaper a few weeks ago and $2 off $10 beauty video values coupon from april so it was free. plus bought vitamins b1g1 free and used newspaper coupon, $3 off $15 purchase and $1 wellness video values coupon.

I went to my right aid this am and they have reprogramed the computers at our to price the batteries back up to $8.99, so bummed!
No single slider lighters here in VA — and there is no UP reward. Bummer.
Also tried the Duracell batteries, 10 pack — no good deals here.
Got this deal here!! I stocked up!! Batteries didn’t work, but that ok. I bought enough to use my 3$ of $15, got them even cheaper. We have the 20% off!
