Redbox: 10 Days of Deals Reminder (Text Offers)
Just a reminder – Redbox is giving daily discounts on Redbox movie rentals! Just text the word DEALS to 727272 every day through 5/25 for a new discount code you can use at the Redbox kiosk that day. Your discount will be anywhere from $0.10 to $1.50! Keep in mind that standard text messaging rates will apply. Head on over here to find a Redbox kiosk near you.
*Daily deal codes expire at 11:59 PM on June 1, 2011 and are available while supplies last. Limit 1 code per day. 1 time use only. Valid for between a $.10 and $1.50 discount off the daily rental fee for the item rented at a participating kiosk for the first night of rental. Any discount left over from the first item rented may be applied to another item rented during the same transaction or it is lost. Code not valid for items reserved online or for prior rentals.

This is sort of on-topic…..
This week at Walgreens I noticed when i purchased 6 Skittles or Starburst (any combination of the 2 candies) I got a free Redbox rental Register Reward. I tried to replicate this with some of the other candy that’s on sale for $0.39, but it only worked with the Skittles/Starburst combination. I’m making goodie bags for my son’s baseball team and needed to buy candy so this worked out great for me!
My Wags had a sign that said if you bought 3 bags of skittles or packs of starburst, you would get a free redbox movie. I bought 1 skittles and 2 starburst and got a catalina for a free movie that expires 6/1. And the candy was 39 cents each.

I got a .25 one the first day, .10 the second day, and today I got a .50 one! Wish I had it last night as we rented “Country Strong” for date night. But the machine let me use the .25 cent one as they don’t expire until the beginning of June.

Make sure you’re reading/entering the code correctly. I used a $1.50 code on a regular $1 DVD rental and it worked perfectly.
