    Is this only online?

    • Nadine

      It is in store too!

  2. Angie

thats how they get you thought they pair all the cute outfits together and make you want them and you end up spending 100 on one outfit lol

  3. Crystal Stone

I will have to stick with Children’s Place or Old Navy, This all seems a little to expensive to me!

    • Cindi

wait for the red balloon sale. It happens twice a year – and it’s coming up im June. They clear out their stock room of all past season’s items for cheap. Gorgeous dresses and jeans for $3.99 for example. Plus, Gymborees quality is amazing. It’s always pre-shrunk and Ive had amazing results reselling the stuff at consignment when it’s outgrown. Can’t say the same for Old Navy or childrens place.

      • Amanda

How much do you get for your Gymboree outfits selling at a consignment store? I am getting rid of all my daughter’s stuff and I am trying to figure out the best way to sell it. I was considering Ebay, but I don’t know if I want to put that much time into it.

        • Carrie

I get much better resale on ebay. It is time consuming, but my local consignment store doesn’t give me nearly as much per item as some of you lucky ladies get! I ebay once my littlest is in bed 🙂

        • Cindi

Well, it depends. I’ve done the consignement shops where I only get 40% of the sale price, but they usually mark up the price alot because they know they can move gymboree. I’d say about $3 for a t-shirt or tank top, and maybe $5 for a pair of pants is what I come away with. I typicall break even this way. If you price your own at a consignment expo you can earn more like 80% of the sale. Ebay definitly will get your the best price, but it is more work. I love the fact that I just drop a bag of clothes off at the shop and leave the rest to them, so I’m willing to take the lower price.

What sizes do you have? I may b interested!

      • MommySpendsLess

What sizes do you usually find a good selection/great deals on? After reading about the RBS on blogs I was super excited to go to Gymboree last year but I ended up getting just one shirt for my daughter. There wasn’t a great selection in the baby section (if I remember, I was looking for 12mo – 2T) and with only a couple of exceptions, the cheapest items were still $6.99-$9.99. I think Gymboree’s stuff is cute but I’m used to getting Children’s Place or Jumping Beans for about $3/piece. I was wondering if I should try again when she’s in the regular girls department or maybe go to a different area/mall.

        • Cindi

My kiddos are only 2 so I haven’t purchased anything larger than that. All stores are different depending on what they have leftover in their stockroom. I have 3 Gymboree’s near me and I hit up each and every one because I find different things each place. Make sure you go day 1 of the sale if you can! Stuff moves fast at this sale. Also, you’ll find the best prices on the out of season clothes. Sometimes it’s tough buying shorts and tank tops in the winter but it ultimately pays off.

        • Cindi

Oh yeah, never shop without a 20% off coupon! They are always to be found in a magazine somewhere. Usually parents, parenting, disney family, pregnancy fitness, etc.

        • Cathy BB

I hope you don’t mind me chiming in with what might be bad news. =) In my experience the best deals are on the larger sizes, like 7-12. But I suppose it depends on your area and the kindness of the employees! I went with a (brave) friend once and she flat out asked if they had any more clearance in the sizes we were looking at and holy cow, the manager very happily brought out four HUGE boxes of dirt-cheap clearance for us to go through! I wish I’d known that several years ago!

Also, I only shop Gymboree when it’s time for the “Circle of Friends” or “Fill a Bag” sale (sign up for their emails and they’ll let you know when those are), and everything is 30% off, even clearance. They have always allowed me to add a 20% off coupon to that, too, so I end up choosing things that are marked $6.99 or under (which comes to less than $4), and walk out with tons of stuff at really acceptable prices. And we’ve had some are hilarious prices, too – my friend got her daughter a gorgeous silk jacket that was marked 99 cents… and then got the 30% and 20% off of that. It was a scream.

I also like that Gymboree lasts well for hand-me-downs to younger siblings or resale. I’ve made huge profits on ebay but it is a TON of work, so I prefer my Once Upon a Child store (which has locations around the nation). You just drop your stuff off, they do the work and you get a check! In my area, it’s usually $3-4 per outfit or dress, but with the clearance prices, I’m almost always breaking even anyway – and likely making some other consignment customer really happy when they buy that outfit at $10 rather than $50! =)

    • Melissa

Yes, very expensive…but the quality is amazing. And if you wait til they have their clearance sales, you can get some awesome good deals. I needed socks for my youngest…not basic plain socks (white, black, etc) but something fun and printed with grippers on the bottom. I couldn’t find anything I liked at the stores (Jc Penney, Old Navy, Target)
One day me and my sister were at the mall when I spotted the cutest outfit on a rolling rack for my niece. Sign said clearance was an additional 25% off. So we browse around and bingo! I found the cutest socks…now mind you they are regular $10 for a 2-pk, and something I would NEVER buy at retail price. Each pack was marked down to $3.99 + 25% off PLUS I could stack it with the 20% card that you find in baby magazines!! I paid $2.40 for each pack I bought (3) along with the outfit for my niece (came to around $9 after the discounts)

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

gymboree IS expensive, but the resale value is AMAZING! i’m a die hard gymbo fanatic and if you take good care of ur stuff (gymbo has the plus of being suuuper easy to get stains out of) you get such awesome resale out of it, that’s it about the same price as buying target 😉 plus my kids get to look super amazing!! smart shopping of a different kind, haha

  5. Dawn

Their clothes are some of the best quality, and at these prices I WISH I had some money to spend! I’m not kidding, my daughter has worn Gymboree underwear (same size 6) for over 2 years now, and they are not even beginning to wear down! 🙂 GREAT quality, compared to Old navy AND Children’s place, iMO.

  6. Leanne

You can use a 20% coupon on top of the sale if you have one, making the $12.99 items just $10.49 :o) This is for *everything* in the store, even the new line!

    • Angel

Is there a place to find a code for that coupon?

      • mamabug

Codes are individual, some magazines may have them. I’m not up on the ones that are out right now. There are no codes that will work for everyone though.

        • Carrie

Try Family Fun, Parents or Parenting magazines; they’re one of those inserts and are normally a bright orange color so they’re easy to find!

      • Amanda

If you want to buy online, you can usually find codes at retailmenot.com. If you want to buy in store, the coupons can be found in certain Parenting and Baby magazines.

        • Angel

if anyone has a code they are not going to use I would love to use it. If you wouldn’t mind emailing me. My email is astonemo@gmail.com. I have a couple things in my bag and I am afraid if I wait too long they will sell out before I can run out and get one of the magazines for a code. I really appreciate it if anyone can help.

This time last year I was so addicted to Gymbo. Now I can’t find a single thing I want for my kids. How sad is that? The prices are great, I just don’t care for the lines out right now. Bummer!

    • Mary

I agree mamabug~I love Gymboree, but don’t like the lines right now either! I also agree with Cindi and TaraLynn that Gymboree is high quality and they have lasted with both of my girls! I only buy items on the sales racks with a coupon 🙂

      • Kristen

I agree the lines out right now aren’t the cutest. It saves me money though. The ones early this spring were my downfall:-) I spent way to much but my daughter looks adorable.

  8. Carrie

I just used the 20% off coupon with the “Everything’s an Additional 25% Off Sale”. I shop clearance mostly, but this time got a new-line adorable applique octopus shirt and matching bucket hat for my little guy and it’s too cute! I did end up buying enough other items (clearance) to get up to $50 after the additional discount so I could get the $25/$50 Gymbuck, and I ended up buying 10 items (including the new octopus shirt and hat) for $50! Not bad! Plus I resell on ebay, so I know I’ll make it back next year 🙂

PS – the octopus shirt is in the Baby Boy section and is not nearly as cute online as it is in person – really nice detailing 🙂

  9. Jennifer

For some reason I am not seeing dates as to when the sale starts and ends. Can anyone help me out? Does it start today in stores????? They have a Pelican sweatshirt that I really want for my little baby boy due in Sept. but have been unwilling to pay $25 for! Thanks!

  10. Leanne

The sale started today but there is no end date as of yet.

As for waiting for the RBS sale, that is always hit or miss (you find a top you like but no matching bottoms or vice-versa and/or not in the size you need) and the sale in June is for last year’s Fall and Winter lines. Not all that helpful if you’re looking to buy Summer.

  11. sophie

Does anyone have a code there not using?? They came this month in the Lucky Kids magazine….please email me if ya have one your not gonna use!!!
    sophia.mayfield(at)yahoo.com THANKS!

    • Kristen

I have 2 20% off coupons and 2 $15 off a $60 purchase coupon. I’ll email the codes to the first people that email me at. cataruper08(at) yahoo.com please tell me which code you would like in the email.

      • Angel

        I emailed you!! Crossing fingers.

      • Brittany

        Emailed you. Thanks

      • Kristen

        I’m all out.

        • Kristen

To all the ladies that emailed me enjoy:-) I’m glad someone could use them.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just a heads up- Crazy8 is a lower priced brand from the same company as Gymboree, and they are having a similar sale right now, but instead everything is $10.99 or less.
    https://www.crazy8.com

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep! I just bought a pair of bermuda shorts and a shirt for my DD9 from Gymboree online… then went right over to Crazy8 online to pick up their $2.99 shirts/tanks to go with the bermuda shorts:) Plus DD can mix and match with what she has now.

A lot of big kid boy short sleeve shirts to pick from Crazy8 online, too. Picked out quite a few $2.99 s/s shirts for DS 10.

  13. Mackenzie

Does anyone remember which magazines in the last two months or so the Gymboree 20% coupon was in? I know I’ve seen them but I can’t remember. I’ve signed up for so many free magazines lately I’m actually at the point where I don’t have time to read them all 🙁

  14. JULIE

Thanks Kristen for the code!!! How nice of you!
Does anyone know where to find a Crazy 8 coupon? Are they available like Gymboree’s or much more limited? I can never get my hands on them
