my ace store does not accept manuf coupons…not sure if it’s all of them or just mine which is independently owned.
Yes, most Ace stores are independently owned and can choose whether or not to accept coupons. None of my local stores accept them.
I went to get the gardening gloves and miracle gro potting soil. The gloves were $4.99 and soil was $9.99. The rebates were a small discount if anything, but not really worth getting it if your store is overpriced like mine in Phoenix, AZ!
the sale doesn’t start until tomorrow….
It started today
I don’t see the gardening gloves on the rebate form.
I just spoke with my Ace and they say they do take MQs. I was also able to print off a $2/1 coupon from coupons.com this morning… cool… who doesn’t need bug spray for the summer AND make $1.51 !!!! Thanks Collin, you ROCK!
and the sale starts today at my store (in Michigan).
Where in Michigan are you?? I’m in Canton and wondering what store you went to??
I just noticed there is a $2.00 off cutter coupon on their Facebook page.
Thanks, Melissa!
THANKS for the tip!!! I just printed it out!
FYI–I had trouble printing this in IE, but it worked fine in Firefox.
I can’t find the gloves on the rebate form – am I overlooking them?
is it a check or can I use it @ACE stores only?
the last rebate I got was a check.
I am not seeing the rebate for the gloves.
The Ad that has the gloves is the May 2011 Ad (versus the Memorial Day ad)… I anticipate that there is a different rebate form because this form is clearly for the Memorial Day rebates…
I just updated the link for the rebate for the gloves. 😀
I’m not seeing the glove either??
I just got back from there. I spent $69 and will be getting back $55 in rebates!!! 🙂
I LOVE Summer Specials like this!!!
Hey Collin – Thanks for this list! – ‘Have a great holiday weekend!
Many of my magazines lately (Country Living, BHG, This Old House) have featured a $5 off $25 coupon for a purchase at Ace. Wonder if you could use this in conjunction with the other deals?
Mine had true value coupons, wish they were for ace instead.
Yes, you can use the $5/$25 with rebates! Yay! 🙂
Yes but ONLY on regular priced items. All of these are marked down sales items so you can’t use it on these items. I already tried today.
Money Maker today at Ace (seems funny to say that for a Hardware Store). My total with tax was $36.93, used a $5 off $20, free grill brush, and 2) $2 off Cutter products coupons, will receive a rebate check for $26.93, $2.30 profit. Happy Dance! All on products I need and use
Ace in Rockwell NC don’t accept mgf coupons but did spend $25 and will get that back in rebates
Does anyone know if we will still get the full amount of rebate if the purchase is paid for with a Groupon? I have a $20 Groupon (paid $10 for it) to a local Franchise ACE. I called them and they said they participate in the Memorial Day sale but not sure about the Groupon.
Yes I have used my groupon on the rebate deals a month ago and got the full rebate the other day.
can you submit all the rebates in one envelope… or do you have to stuff a whole bunch of envelopes with individual receipts?
Because everything is on one rebate form, it seems like they would prefer that it all be submitted in the same envelope.
At my Ace the Ortho was $9.99 not $5.99 and the Cutter was $6.99 not $4.99. I did get the Spectracide for $5.99. My store takes coupons but apparently doesnt participate in all the sale prices.
Are they electronic rebates??????
wish i would have known they wouldnt accept manufacter coupons.. that wouldnt even give me a reason why.
My Ace denied the coupons, I was told since it was already on sale. So I asked her if any item is on sale you don’t take coupons, and she said yes. Oh, well.
Okay, I am really confused. These rebates are for two different promotions and two different forms. There is a May rebate form and a Memorial Day rebate form. One is 11-47003 and the other is 11-47001. Both have the same POB for rebate submissions, however, so maybe it is okay to purchase everything on one receipt and submit the original receipt with the two forms together? Yes, we ran into a problem in using the Cutter coupons. They said it the item is on sale then you cannot use the coupon too. Still less than a $1 each for Cutter. There is an E-Rebate option but you have to had already gotten and used your Ace Rewards card at the time of purchase, otherwise you will need to just mail it in in paper form.. We signed up after the fact but should have our card for the next time around.
Just a FYI for any military out there, ACE gives a 10% discount on top of the seals.
