Saw people posting “Hip2save sent me” on the M&D wall last week when I originally entered their contest, but I didn’t know why…..so now I know and I posted it as well. Interesting….looks like companies are starting to see that those participating in blogs of this nature might be a good resource to tap into….so they are testing out the most active blogs by doing this. Marketing at its best….

I do not consider this to be “free” PR. First of all, Melissa & Doug has offered to provide a great set of beach toys for each 200 Hip2Savers who “like” their page. Second, they have been gracious enough to donate a whopping 10 sets of sand toy sets to the Hip2Help tour (that’s $500 worth of toys!). And personally, I love Melissa & Doug toys so I am more than happy to promote them as I believe in the quality of their toys. 😀
