Has anyone figured out a loophole if you don’t have a smart phone? I hate the idea of missing out on a summer’s worth of free popcorn just b/c of my phone. 🙁
i believe it is only for smart phone people. but it’s not a summers worth of free popcorn either. it is one small free popcorn.

I tried to do this today but it wouldn’t work with my smartphone (htc EVO – Sprint). My friend who was with me got it to work using her iphone from AT&T. I got a message that said I needed a GPS enabled smartphone, but mine is GPS enabled so I don’t know why it wouldn’t work.
Me too. I have an Evo, but why do i hav to enable the gps. Seems suspicous to me. I think think they are gathering more info than they are tell us about. I think i may pass on this one.
Well, can you “check in” somewhere without having your gps on? When I check in somewhere on my iphone it looks for places close to where I am.
Yeah you need GPS to check in, so I don’t think they’re “tracking” you.
You can use it multiple times, it says to text popcorn to the number each time you want to use it!
Can I just walk in and get the popcorn or do I have to watch a movie 🙂
You have to have a GPS locator on your phone so it knows that you are at a participating theater- just one more way for “THEM” to keep track of us, LOL.
