Kmart: Unlimited Double Coupon Event (Up to $0.99 – 6/19 Through 6/25!)
UPDATE: Sorry for the confusion! After contacting several participating stores, it seems that this event actually starts in most locations tomorrow, June 19th. You may want to contact your local store to verify that this is the case in your area as some readers have commented that this event starts today at their local Kmart. Can you say confusing?!
If you have a Kmart nearby, you may be excited to hear that now starting tomorrow 6/19 through 6/25 they’re having a Double Coupon Event for Shop Your Way Rewards members and will be doubling coupons up to $0.99 with absolutely NO limit! 🙂 Keep in mind that you’ll need to have a Shop Your Way Rewards card, but if you don’t have one you can go here to sign up for one or can sign up at your local store to get your rewards card immediately. Might make a trip a couple of towns over if I can figure out a scenario that makes sense and where I come out ahead. However, we are one of the lucky 6 towns in the US that has a Sears Essentials that is being converted BACK into a Kmart so if I do not hit this deal I certainly will be able to come the end of August when the remodel is complete. SOOOO excited. (Not a huge Kmart fan either but this will certainly make it worthwhile to go there.)

BY THE WAY!!!….I went to Kmart with my Husband last week, they had a TON of Crayola stuff clearanced really low as well as a Diego bike (with trainign wheels) that was marked down from $72.00 to $28.00—already a good deal since we were looking for one. Well, when I got to checkout, the bike rang up for $7.00 (YES, 7!!) dollars! I almost had a heart attack. Im going to see if there are some more today and buy one for my nephew.

i normally don’t shop at kmart but this is a great promo for them to increase their business. they have some decent sales but in the end the prices just never seem to compare to walmart… double coupons will be great, sure to find some great deals. have fun everybody!

you need to check your local k-mart store before heading out. i called one of our stroes in augusta, ga and they are not participating in this sale.
does anyone know if you have a coupon for more than .99 will they double the coupon for .99 or not? I have some coupons for $1.00 off and was wondering if they would just take .99 off??

the dollar coupons would be redeemed at face value, also if you have a 1.50 or 2.00 coupon, they would also be face value, but if you had a .75 coupon it would be redeemed as 1.50. hth

Of course our local Kmart is not participating in this event. The closest store that doubles anything is over 80 miles away. With the price of gas we would have to save over $30 just to break even. Arrrgghhh! Sometimes southern MN sucks.

I haven’t taken advantage of their double coupon days recently because it was so cumbersome when they first started and the cashiers were clueless on how it works. They used to have to scan the coupon and then match it on their computer display against the product that it applied to. This made for a time consuming check-out, and often the cashier matched the coupon against the wrong product. Does anyone know if this has changed, and if it’s like any other store where they scan the coupon and the computer automatically matches it against the correct product?

I called two Georgia stores (Doraville and Buford) and BOTH said they aren’t doing this. I can’t fine any info on this at kmart.com

I just called My Closest K-Mart in Mt Dora. They have no Idea what I am talking about, said this was not a K-mart sponsored website and they would not have unlimited doubles coupons, that they are looking into their e-mail and it will be ONLY up to 5 coupons you can double and your order has to be over $25.
WOW, they just called me back and said they were wrong! There is no limit and there is no spend amount!

I have been on the hunt for information. I called my local store, they know that they are participating, but they know NO details! I finally spoke to SOMEONE, don’t know who, who says that it starts tomorrow. I proceeded to ask about the purchase minimum and if there is a limit to the number of coupons that will be doubled. He told me that corporate hasn’t decided yet! WHAT IS THIS?!?!?! I’m so confused by this situation. I was told to call back around 1pm or 2pm to confirm. This seems VERY unorganized.
So, the coupon I use for ONE item can be up to .50 in order for it to be doubled, right? A .75/1 coupon won’t be doubled to $1.50 will it?
yes it will. Any coupon under .99 will double to the full amount.

I miss the old days of Kmart doubles up to $2 and no limits. I am still using Ziplocs and Chinet plates I got free there 2 years ago!

Yeah..I’m “scared” to try Kmart again…I’ve had problems EVERY time they have some sort of double coupon event…and I SWORE upon leaving Kmart the last time I would never set foot in there again…so …I think I’ll sit this one out and see what others say!! Good luck to all of you who do go and I hope it all works out..I used to get great deals there…but I just don’t feel like dealing w/the coupon issues they give out!
Agreed. Every time I had tried the double coupon thing, I have been given a hard time at Kmart. I have even complained to corporate and never a received response. I think they are overpriced and customer service is extreamly lacking, no wonder they are going out of business. I’m staying away, good luck to everyone who tries.
