Recyclebank: New Green Your Vacation Contest (Earn Up To 70 New Points + More!)
Starting today through July 31st, Recyclebank is launching a new “Green Your Vacation contest” (similar to the previous Green your Home contest) where you can earn Recyclebank points just by learning ways to “green your summer vacation”! If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is!? RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.

I’m confused how does it know it’s you there is no were to sign in and when I did it i clicked on get my points but didn’t see that i recieved them any were? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated thanks hipsters!!!!
I clicked on a moving object and did what it wanted me to do..check a box on a question they asked..or just click “pledge” if it asks. Then it says “Get my 10 points” or whatever the object was worth. Click on get my points and a small Recycle Bank log-in box will appear. Once you sign in, it will switch to a box that says “Thank You (your name) you got X points. Hope this helps! 🙂
I didn’t realize at first my pop ups were blocked, but after I accepted, I signed in to my account and points were credited.

I am trying to figure out how to do it as well. How do you adjust your pop up blockers?
i have never had a problem with this before.
At the very top of your screen, click “Tools”……then click on “Internet Options” or “Options”. On the new box, it should be under “Content”. Un-check “Block Pop-up Windows” to turn it off and OK/Apply out. Hope this helps!

Having the same problem —will not add in my points —I did change to allowing pop-ups but it still will not work for me either.

Do you guys do the recycling at your home too? Do you earn enough to make up for the curbside pickup fee? It’s $10 here and seems like you’d have to recycle ALOT to get your moneys worth.
I have home recycling. Here our pickup fee is included with garbage there is not a seprate fee for recycling. I earn about 100 points every 2 weeks(our recycling is picked up byweekly) They figure it based on weight. My garbage company is 2.5 points per pound I think. I’m sure evey company is different though.
I see. Our city has free recycling but if you want to do recyclebank, it’s $10. Many people say they are able to make it worth the money by the rewards and it pays for itself. I did the math and because they give us 2.75 points/pound, I’d have to recycle 909 pounds to get 2500 points ($10 gift card). That is insane!
Don’t forget to click on the rain clouds. When you do, they will rain and you take the pledge for 10 points.

okay, figured it out…on the green car it asks a question and I got it wrong…so it only awarded me 5 points instead of the 10 it was worth. If I had got it right I would of had the 70 Collin posted.
I got the answer correct and was only awarded 5 pts. My total was 65 too, then thanks to Midmagic, I clicked on the train again to answer another question so I got all 70 points.
I clicked on the train a second time and and got 5 more points for a total of 70!
You get the other 5 points for clicking on the baggage being pulled on the train for a total of 70. When I used my Chrome browser and allowed pop ups for that site, it worked. It would not work with my Internet Explorer browser.

Not working for me. Nothing happens when I click get my points.
Not sure why it won’t work for some. I guess a few suggestions are make sure your pop up blocker is turned off so the log-in box can appear, or maybe even going to recycle banks website and log-in there and play the game there as its right on their homepage. hope ya’ll can get it! 🙂
It is not showing up on my homepage. Log-in and it’s not a option on the earn rewards page. Maybe that’s why it won’t give me my points. Possibly some people are getting this option earlier than others? May have to wait until it shows up for you on the earn page. Very confusing.
humm very strange…when I type in their website its the very first thing I see on their page. The box on the screen changes to 4 different things but the first one is all about this game. Must be a delay.

ugh, I just did the Friskies coupon yesterday too for 125 pts.
It wouldn’t give me my points either when I was using IE but when I changed browsers and turned off the pop up blocker it worked.

I got 50 of the points. The plane wouldnt work for me even when I chose to save the file.
I can get to the link hip 2 save gives – log in on another link – shows me logged in – lets me play the game, but gives me no points. I don’t get it – and other blogs have the same link. very weird.
