I need some help with something too…
At my walgreens when there is a promo (like spending so much $ on a brand…then get so much $ in RR) when I use coupons they take that off of the amount towards the brand.
Does that make sense? How do I get around this?
the only way the amount spent would be reduced is if it was a WAGS Q. MQ will not affect a RR printing based on spend X/ get Y. There is no way getting around the wags q reduction.
went to walgreens today to get the 4 cans of pringles deal, gave the cashier my $1 off 3 cans coupon and then a $1 RR from a previouse week, thought I could use 4 coupons/RR since I bought 4 items but the cashier and register would only take 2 coupons ( the $1/3 and $1 RR) when did 1 coupon for 3 items = 3 coupons? Am I wrong here?
In my experience when the coupons that are $ off multiple items, then the coupon attaches to all those items. $1 off 2 items attaches to 2 items. $1 off 3 items attaches to 3 items. So you would need a filler item if you wanted to use a rr to pay for them.
Stacey Rachel is RIGHT. any time you have a coupon for an amount of multiples it attaches to the number of products so even though the # of coupons is less, it actually acts as if you are using multiples. There is one exception with BOGO coupons but even those sometimes are coded to attach to both items. Always be prepared with a filler. I often will try without to see if it will fly, (ie not coded to attach to all items) but if it does not work, I just throw in a cheap filler I brought with me. If I do not end up needing it, I just tell them I don’t need it and they will put it away. HTH

At this point your item count vs. mnfc coupon count is fine & you can still use one more mnfc if you want.
IF you used a Walgreens coupon now it should get scanned one time and multiply by the # of that item you are purchasing. So, if the Walgreen’s coupon is for 0.50 it would take off 1.50. This Walgreens coupon (even though it’s adding three of them to your transaction) will not put you over your item vs mnfc coupon limit.
ps. the only time a B1G1 is an issue is when you’re trying to use a dollar off coupon in conjunction with it. This is an issue at MANY stores and from what I’ve heard depends on how the coupon is coded (those whose barcodes end in “14” attach to both items preventing you (getting the BEEP) from using like a $1/1 on the non-free item you’re buying. This has nothing to do with Walgreens specifically.
i came across this too. walgreens USED to count only the number of actual coupons and always allowed one physical coupon per physical item, but now it’s more like a ratio of one coupon discount per item- therefore your $1/3 coupon will give you a discount on 3 items and counts as 3 coupons, even though you only have one physical piece of paper. sorry. I was disappointed too when I first ran across this back in november (I think). Technically they are correct, but it’s still a bit of a bummer for me. There is on off chance that you might find some exceptions to the rule and get away with it, but I wouldn’t count on it. I’ve given up on trying to use the old rules, but I suppose you could do as others suggested and try it- just bring along some fillers in case it doesn’t work.

The INFANT CARE COUPON BOOKLET is manufacturer coupons. It says it in the fine print on the coupon. So it should not be used with another manufacture coupon.
But still a good deal with the Platex coupons.
i think even though it says mfs cpn it is still a store coupon. they accepted it at mine. i dont know though. i could have just been lucky.
it may be a MQ that is ONLY good at WAgs, in which case you can use both. However some stores will fight you on this. as long as they both do not start with a 5 or 9, you can use both. HTH

My twizzler copon is $1 off 3 – I feel cheated. Since Walgreens ad’s that are 2/$$ don’t give you the sale price on a single purchase I would have to buy either 3 or 6 and if I bought 6 I bet I would only get one register reward

I just went to my local walgreens and she told me that I was not going to get $6 RR back after buying 3 packs of Dove face bars because i was using 3 $4 coupons. She told me that I needed to buy a minimum of 5 packs! Is that right? I just started with the coupons and i’m not sure if that’s true or not.

I just went to my local Walgreens (in Little Rock, AR) and got a 150 ct. Wal-Zyr (Walgreens brand Zyrtec) for $19.99–regularly $35! I’m not sure if this is a nationwide thing, but it’s worth a look!

I just bought the Hawaiian Tropics BOGO free. I chose one that was $12.99. When I checked my receipt the BOGO free credited was only $10.99! Any thoughts on that? Maybe it didn’t want to credit me since I used the $2 off from the Summer Beauty Guide??? Do you think I should take my receipt back and argue it?
