  I’ve never had a problem, I’ve always been told ( and I use to work for Wags too) that it can not be the RR from the same promotion. But I’d check with the manager just to make sure.

  You can use the rewards on the purchase, but it won’t print out new rewards. I used a P&G RR from two weeks previous on a P&G purchase w/RR, so it didn’t print out the new RR…we had to void the xaction and do it over.

  I had to share this. My husband just got back from our 24 hour Walgreens. He purchased (3) 6 packs of soap for $18, used the coupons mentioned above, he not only got the $6 RR, he got the $5 RR as well!! I know it wasn’t because of other items purchased, (2 pks of panty liners [free] and 2 boxes of envelopes [$.69/ea]). I wasn’t even expecting the $5!! Love that!

  I believe, YES!! I have had luck with rolling the RR for the same brand BUT the amount just can NOT be the same. So, an example.. the Gillette stuff the other week spend $30 and get back $10. I paid with a $5 RR from Gilette from my razor purchase and got the $10 RR fine. I have done this often, but each deal is different so you never know! Good Luck!

  Michelle 735 IS the Only one who is RIGHT here. You can use same manuf. RR of differing amounts and still receive an additional RR. The only exception to this is IF there is a promotion running say, buy 2 get$x RR, buy 3 get $y RR or buy 4 get $z RR. If you received a RR from the company in any of the amounts (x, y or z) even though you plan on getting back a different amount, it will NOT work. For example say you bought a P&G product and received a $2 RR. And then you are trying to buy a different P&G product running a promo that states buy 1 get a $2 RR, buy 2 get a $3 RR or buy 4 and get a $5 RR, and you plan on buying 4 to get the largest RR but you want to apply the $2 RR you had from a previous deal (doesn’t matter from that week or not), you will NOT get a new RR in any amount, because the $2 RR you used will be coded the same as the one being offered as part of the current deal and the register will read it as you already bought the products and received the reward. this will also happen with MQ’s that you receive in the paper or whereever. If they offer a multiple RR deal and your MQ is the same amount as any of the Reward amounts being offered, it will NOT print a new RR. HTH somebody and makes sense to you.

  If you look on their website they have recently started a way of putting the receipt online to redeem and get your rebate by mail… quicker and save the stamp. Being this the case I would go with separate transactions to get a different number for each, just to be safe.

  I found some interesting info by the way:
  “When submitting a paperless rebate, can I submit more than one rebate at the same time?
  Yes, there is no limit on how many rebates you can submit at one time, as long all of the items you are submitting for were purchased on the same receipt. After you select the offer code you are submitting for, you will then enter the item number(s) for the individual offer(s).”

  I totally had no idea this website even existed. Thank you so much, this will make it a lot easier for me to submit all my rebates I get from Walgreens. I hope it works as good as the SCR from Rite Aid does, because Rite Aid (in my eyes, is 1000% better with rebates than Walgreens.

  It looks like that website is only good for the rebates listed at the back of the monthly savings book. For ex., July book is only good for heart rate watch, advil/centrum/caltrate, or blue rhino propane.

  I tried this Hawaiian Tropic BYGO sale a few weeks ago & the fine print on the WAGS Summer Beauty Q states: “Limit one coupon per customer per offer.” So the register only took 1 $2 WAGS Q off the total. I inquired with the manager as to why I could not get the $4 WAGS savings and she pointed me to the fine print. Bummer. But still makes for a very good deal on HT sunscreen. My store had a bunch of HT & Banana Boat products with peelies on them for $2 off Manuf. Q’s so be on the look-out, will make the deal even sweeter + save on ink, if you can find these.

  Some people get the Red Plum in the mail. Here in Utah County we have to wait till Sunday to get it in our papers 🙁 I know that Salt Lake County get them in the mail, how about the other counties? I am not for sure on the rest.

   Does wags post their monthly RR deals anywhere. I would like to be able to keep up with them. Also I have had a lot of trouble with the monthly deals ie RR not printing out and the store manager has no idea what i am talking about. I had that issue with the reach toothbrushes a few weeks ago and now the Oscar Myer shaved lunch meat. Any suggestions on how to get the RR without a big hassle?

  I had that problem with the Reach, also. The manager checked her book that lists all the monthly deals. If the deal is listed and the reward doesn’t print, then you have to mail away for the RR. The weird thing for me was that the Reach deal wasn’t listed with the monthly deals, although I read about it on so many blogs! Maybe things are regional.

  have never had trouble with this kind of things until last week when I shopped at a different location. They said corporate is trying to crack-down on the stacking of coupons. I did the Huggies wipes deal, they let me use the infant care coupon and the Huggies coupon, BUT they tore out and kept my infant care coupon so I can’t do the wipes deal anymore. 🙁 I hope there’s a h2s reader that’s a WAGS employee that can enlighten us as to what is going on.

  Hi Lisa and to all H2S readers. I am a WAGS employee (an assistant manager and I love my job) and fellow couponer. Here’s the deal: although the coupons from the Infant Care Guide say “MF coupon good at Walgreens”, it’s still a “store coupon” If you notice, coupons from our weekly ad, IVC booklets, infant care guide, summer beauty guide, etc., all have a four digit number under the bar code. All those coupons are store coupons. True manufacture coupons have an 11 digit number under the bar code (ie. sunday paper coupons, internet coupons, Register Rewards). These are the coupons we have to keep to get reimbursed from the manufacture. Sometimes we will run true manufacture coupons in our weekly ads and I know there are some in our summer beauty guide, so we have to keep those as well. Store coupons you are allowed to ask for back, because we just throw them away. Tip: when stacking one of our store coupons with a manufacture coupon, give the cashier all your manufacture coupons first, then use the store coupons. I’m sorry our company is not more in sync with our coupon policy. I work in Virginia Beach, VA. so if any of you are in the area,feel free to come to my location. We welcome couponers with open arms.   I would encourage you to print the Walgreens corporate coupon policy and keep it with you every time you shop at Walgreens…

  In the policy, it states:

  I had a problem with the infant care playtex coupon last week too. It wasn’t that they didn’t want me to combine them, it was that the computer beeped or completely didn’t recognize the code from the infant care coupon at all. (Part of the problem was that they didn’t even have the Cars cups in their system yet.) Finally the manager told the cashier to just manually override the price and adjust it to $2.99 each. The cashier wanted to take my infant care coupon after that, but I finally managed to convince her to let me keep it since it was so hard for me to get the booklet in the first place.

    Several of my local Walgreens have the Disney Playtex sippy cups marked 2/$6. I went to use my coupons today because this deal is even better than it appears they have advertised for next week and the cashier would not accept the 3 coupons you have mentioned. I do not completely understand why. It went from the Walgreens coupon is really a manufacturer’s coupon, to my coupons cover more than the balance, to the cups are not infant cups as the coupons indicate they have to be. Now I am at fault for not having their policy with me but am I missing why they won’t accept this senario? Shouldn’t I be able to walk out of the store with 2 cups for free after coupons? Also should mention the cups did not scan in the system so the price had to be keyed in and the Walgreens coupon would not scan when it was the first one applied just to give everyone a heads up.

  I had the same problem with the cups not being in the system and then the infant care coupon not scanning. I don’t know anything about 3 coupons, just the $2/2 coupon from the Infant Care Booklet and the $2/1 coupon from the Playtex website (or the $1/1 coupon from the 5/22 SS). So as far as I know, the cups should cost you either $0.99 or $1.99, but not free…..

  I got a similar deal at my Wags and the infant care coupon would not scan so the manager had the cashier change the price of the cups. He did try to say maybe they weren’t infant cups, but I showed him the picture on the coupon and the cups I was buying were very similar so he said okay. He said he wishes the coupons would be more specific so they wouldn’t run into problems with them, but he was very nice to me.

    Just FYI, I went to Walmart (in Utah County where it’s really oversaturated with couponers :-)) and the Dial trial size lotions, etc. were out. I went to see what deals they had for Dial lotion. They had these lotions that were bigger than the trial size, but not a full size for only $2. I was able to get 6 for free! Not sure if you posted this deal or not, but hey, worth letting you know about since the coupons are expiring soon…

    Thank you Collin and everyone else for addressing my question concerning the Playtex escenario with the cups. I ended up buying them in a different Walgreens (after visiting a couple while running other errands, I felt so guilty my small children were already playing with their cups… 🙁 but guess what? The Wags coupon beeped! First the cashier was like: ohhhh, its because it says baby item and the cups are toddler items (which is NOT true)…I was ready to chop her head off (or start crying) when she suddenly said: its ok, I will give it to you… 🙂

  My Wags in NE absolutely would not take the infant care coupon for the playtex cups. I first gave her the code and it didn’t work, whe asked, ” where are you getting these codes?” in a less than pleasant way. Then she found the coupon in the booklet she had at the register but it beeped and she said it wasn’t an infant care product, it was an accessory! Ugh…

    Heads up on the pampers RR deal!! I just received a $4/1 box pampers cruisers as a home mailer (I think from gifts to grow). This deal is awesome–if you have it use the $4/1, stack with the $2 walgreens coupon in the infant care booklet, get back $3 RR for a net cost of $11 for a BIG box of diapers!!

  Anyone having trouble using the infant care diaper coupon with a manu q? This seems to be an ongoing issue at my wags and they just dont understand stacking coupons. They see in the small print manu q on the wags coupon and say I cant use a reg manu q in addition to it. Today is the last day I will be shopping at Walgreens in my area because I just cant stand in line for 30 mins reading them their own coupon policy.

    Wanted to give a heads up to watch the prices on the Dove For Men. I just got back from Wags and the soap was ringing up $5.10. I bought 3 and a 2 pack of Reach because I wanted to use a $5 RR from last week. The $2 RR for Reach printed, but the $6 RR for Dove did not. They finally figured out it was because of the markdown, but gave me the RR anyway. Ended up being a great deal for me, but I’m not sure every Wags would have done this!

    I was just wondering if Walgreens in-ad coupons count towards your coupon total? I know that I can only use one coupon per item at our local Walgreens. For example, if I was only buying the Domino sugar and I had the in-ad coupon and the coupon from the red plum, would that be too many. The same goes for the scotch tape. I would have the in-ad coupon and two printed coupons for 2 rolls of tape. Just wondering if that would work. I hope this makes sense! 🙂 Thanks!

    So on the Carefree pads, to make it even better then $3/2 (found in Walgreens coupon book) I found a .50 cent coupon off any Carefree pad (excluding trial size). So I made .02 cent off them. I had so many pads from the Carefree and Stayfree, the lady looked at me like I was crazy.

  It is because the coupon is coded for $1/2 not off 1 as the coupon states. This was an issue a while back when they ran a deal on the packaging tape. HTH

    Also did the dove 6-pk bar soap deal & received a $5 RR and $6RR! The $5RR (that I wasn’t expecting) was from unilever… Maybe they have some time of national deal going on???

  No… We actually did the 6-pk first, in its own transaction to make sure it was part of the advertised RR deal & that is what printed. Strange thing… Maybe it was a glitch? :/

  the dove soap I bought was green writing (all they had in the 6 pack), but the 2 packs (or whatever smaller size they were) were red, what color was the 6 pack you bought and received they extra $5 on? I did not get it with the green colored one. 🙁

  It was the dark gray with the green … I wonder what the difference was??? I noticed that happened a lot. Som people got it some didn’t?? Maybe you could call the Catalina company with your receipt in hand and see if they could give further insight as to why you didn’t gt it?

  All you need to give them for a Walgreen’s coupon is the last 4 digit #’s of the Wags coupon. So you don’t need the coupon at all (or they can scan the store copy!)

    I just got back from walgreens and did the deal for the BOGO free Hawaiian tropic and the Hawaiian tropic sunscreen of spf 15 or more are not included. It is only the ones pictured (the tanning oil spray and creme spray). Some of them are 10.99 and some are 9.99. Also, I bought 4 of them, 3 @ 9.99 and 1 @10.99. I used 4 $1 coupons from the paper and then I used the coupon from the summer beauty booklet and it only took off $6. I still bought it, but when I looked at the receipt when I got home, the register only took off $15.98 for the BOGO sale. It should have taken off $19.98. I can only think that by using the coupon from the beauty book affects how much it takes off for the Bogo sale…so for 4 i ended up paying 14.98. Not as great as I would like, but still a good savings!

    I have officially had it with Walgreen’s today. I bought the 3 packs of men’s Dove soaps. For whatever reason the computer would only accept 2 of my manufacturer coupons for the soaps and beeped and would not let them manually take off the 3rd coupon. (That is issue #1–why would the computer not take the third coupon when I clearly bought 3.) So the manager came and subtracted $6 and added back $2 to give me credit for the $4 coupon, but then of course, the $6 RR would not print. (and now I see that some of you also got another $5!) He then told me that it would not have given me the RR anyway because I used manufacturer coupons on the items. What???? Do they just pull this stuff out of thin air?? I laid the receipt in front of him and told him that I knew he could see why the register would not give me the RR because of how he rang it up. After much going back and forth he finally just pulled $6 out of the register and pushed it at me. I have complained to corporate because I am so tired of how I have been treated at our local Walgreen’s for using coupons.

  Sounds like you have a bad store. Is there another one you could shop at? I have a terrible store close to me that I absolutely refuse to shop at, not even to stop in for just one item. I drive a little further to an awesome Walgreens and have never had a problem there.

    Another awesome sale I found was the M&M’s! In the newest booklet there is a coupon for I believe a dollar off, plus last week’s paper had $1, and they are on sale this week! Awesome stacking opportunity!

    If I do 1 transaction with the pringles, twizzlers and reach toothbrush will the $2, $1 and $2 RR all print out or di the need to be separate transactions?

  You can get multiple RR’s print out from just one transaction. But beware on the particular items you mention. Today I used manufacturer’s coupons on both the twizzlers and the reach toothbrush, and neither one of them printed out the RR. The manager told me that this happens with certain manufacturers. This makes it tough to shop at Walgreens since you never know on which items a manufacturer’s coupon will block the printing of an RR.

    About the Hawaii Tropic deal, I did this deal LAST time this deal was available, what happens is the register REDUCES the Summer Beauty Guide q amount, ( basically it takes $ off for just 1 product instead of 2). If you have a good store with GREAT cahiers and managers they can override the register, otherwise the registers are not allowing such ” SUPER DEALS”…..same thing with Infant Care bklt. H.T.H.

  The same thing happened to me. The register took $4.00 off when it scanned the coupon from the beauty guide, but then only deducted $7.99 for the “free” item instead of $9.99.
