Yay! I have yet another Walgreens deal to share with you! As I mentioned in the Walgreens weekly deals, Skintimate shave cream or gel 6 or 7 oz is on sale for $1.99 with in ad coupon. When I posted about this, I assumed that the higher priced Skintimate Moisturizing Cream Shave (6 oz) would not be included in the in ad coupon sale. And normally I am not happy to say this (ask my hubby! 😉 )… but I am wrong! According to reader, Sarah, the Skintimate Moisturizing Cream Shave does in fact work with the in ad coupon! So, check out the *HOT* deal you can score…

Buy Skintimate Moisturizing Cream Shave (6 oz) $3.99
Use the $1.99 in ad coupon found in the weekly ad (looks like the pic above)
Plus, use the $1.50/1 coupon found here
(there is also a $1/1 coupon found here or in the 7/24 SS)
Final cost as low as $0.49!

(Thanks, Sarah!)

* Note: If you have a CVS nearby, you may be better off using your coupons there!

i did this deal after two people cleared the shelves of all stock of skintimate at CVS this morning.

    • Collin

      🙁

    • may

in my area there are A LOT of shelf clearers!! i never really get any deals 🙁 thank goodness for rainchecks!!!!!

    • Carol_R

Some people may have wanted to use a lot of the Skinatimate Cream Shave in the CVS deal.

    • dalila

You could also try Kmart they are on sale for 1.99 including the shave cread, cream shave and the gel so the makes for a good deal and they have lots of them if not a rain check is the best thing.

      • dalila

        i meant cream not cread
        sorry

  2. Tami W

Oooh! I’ll have to go back and try. This was not tagged at my Wags. Shocker!! 😉

    • mackyjane

Mine wasn’t either…but after I read the in-ad coupon and saw that it said that it included cream and gel AND the size was in the limits I figured it HAD to work! I was super stoked to get 2 shave creams for $0.98! My skin is always dry so I’m hoping that this moisturizing cream will help!

  3. Kim

What does “in ad” coupon mean? Is this a coupon that is available with the Walgreen weekly circular? I do not get a walgreen circular in my paper since there is no local walgreen, am I able to pic up a circular at the front of the store?

    • fran

Yes, Kim, the coupons are in Wags’ weekly ad and you can pick them up in the store.

    • may

yes the monthly coupon book and the weekly circular is always available at the store..right when you walk in you’ll see them. yes, the in ad coupon is in the weekly circular.

  4. Kristy T

My local Walgreens won’t combine a manufactured coupon with a store coupon. Tried to do this for a bottle of excedrin the other day and they would only take one or the other…

    • mackyjane

Print out the WAGs coupon policy and take it with you the next time you shop at WAGs. Their policy clearly states that you can use any WAGs coupons along with Manufacturer coupons as long as it doesn’t exceed the amount of the purchase price…if it exceeds then they can change the price of the coupon to equal a $0 purchase price for the item. Here’s the link to Hip’s Walgreens Store Guide https://hip2save.com/store-guides/walgreens

      • mackyjane

Also Register Rewards are considered Manufacturer Coupons. So you have to use this on an item (generally a filler item) that doesn’t already have a manufacturer coupon tied to it.

    • Sarah

They’re supposed to. Try printing off the coupon policy on walgreens.com and showing it to them. Or call corporate while in store. There is no reason for them not to take both. One is a walgreens coupon, one is a manufacturers coupon.

    • Ashley

If it is an in-ad coupon that states the price of the item, you should be able to price match at Wal-Mart as well.

  5. Laurenandbrian

Man! Just just usef a .55 manufact Q and the in ad on the normal skintimate… I’ll have to go back. I was wondering why the lady behind me had 7 or the new kind lol

  6. Jo-Ann

Thanks so much not just for providing the deals, but also the tips on where best to use them (if the items are stocked!)–great work! 🙂

  7. Abigail

Lovin’ it! We JUST ran out of shaving cream, so this week is awesome for stocking up a little! 😉

  8. Carol_R

I had 8 $0.80 coupons for the Pure Silk Shave Cream so I got 4 of them using the $0.99 in-ad coupon for only $0.19 each and gave 4 of my coupons to a friend. They had plenty of stock which surprised me.

  9. elizabeth23

I have shaving cream for life. lol

    • Carol_R

      Me too.

  10. Laura

When did they change Smartsource to one print per computer? it used to be 2.

    • cassie

I know! I was surprised it onl let me print one 🙁

    • Carol_R

It’s typically 2 prints but for some items you can only get 1 print.

    • Rebecca

oh ok i thought maybe my computer was on the fritz or something because i had the same thing happen to me! Only one! Sort of a bummer but at least the coupons on coupons.com let me print two (even though they are $1/1 and not $1.50/1.)

  11. cathy

Ok, I just went and indeed this works I got for 1.25. The manager told I did not have to buy a filler item, I was shocked with using 3 coupon 2 MF and 1 WG coupon. He said that a walgreens coupon isn’t considered a coupon, has anyone else heard this? I’m confused.

    • cathy

I got 2 of cream shave. I’m not complaining, happy.

    • Carol_R

Walgreen’s coupons are store coupons & not manufacturer coupons. They don’t count as a manufacturer coupon.

  12. hilarycol

It is shocking to me that the real deal makers NEVER have sale tags on them! I go in armed with my list coupons and circular to make sure. I also scan at the self price check at end caps!

I just was able to get the $4.98 shave cream ( 2 of them ) for $1.99 each plus 2×1.50 skintimate coupons. Great deal!

I also bought the U Kotex. I had three $1 coupons and they are on sale for 3/$11 and it generates a $4 RR. I paid $4 for three boxes and got my free Walgreens tampons.

    • mackyjane

Ooo! I wish our Walgreens would get self price check scanners! I noticed our Walgreens had been rearranging since last weekend so maybe they’ll be getting these too!

      • Carol_R

That would be great! None of the drugstores seem to have their merchandise all priced right on the shelf so it’s really helpful for me to be able to check to prices myself. So far I can only do that at CVS & Target.

    • Betty

In ad coupons don’t have tags anymore. Wags stopped printing tags for in-ad coupon items.

  13. fran

Off topic: I have my printer set at “print in grayscale” and “black ink only” and when I print a coupon, the pic is in color. A fellow hipster helped me before with this, but I don’t remember what I did. HELP!!!!!!
Also, I have 5 coupons hung up in the queue of my printer. I have my printer installed twice (don’t ask :-)). When I set the one with the 5 coupons to default printer, I still can’t print them or any other coupons. But when I set the other to default, I am able to print. Is there a way to transfer the 5 in the queue to the default printer? HELP!!!!!

  14. glacier2011

I got my 4! 🙂 They were not marked at my Walgreens. The girl working there told another customer that they were not on sale and only the Walgreens brand was $1.99. I think she needed to actually look at the ad.

    • mackyjane

Well they’re not actually on sale, you have to use the in-ad coupon to get the sale price.

  15. Liz

I tried this morning after getting the original skintimate but was told that the deal wasn’t for the cream shave only the cheaper one. Looks like i’ll have to try another Walgreens and see what happens.

    • mackyjane

Grab the Moisturizing Cream that is like $4.49 and once they scan it and all your other items then hand them their own ad (that you’ve already flipped to the correct in-ad coupon) and the computer will automatically take off $2.50. If the cashier doesn’t think it’s included let them know that the in-ad coupon doesn’t exclude it and just ask her/him to try scanning it…because it will scan! Just make sure you’re pleasant with them and try not to get frustrated as this won’t help either parties. Hope this helps! 🙂

      • Liz

I went this morning and did this and it worked! Thanks so much for the advice!

  16. melissa

Wags never tags items that have an in-ad coupon.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They hadn’t tagged scunnci, Irish springs or dentek!? I double checked on the self scan so I didn’t have to worry and argue at register;)

  18. Ashley

I just got back from Walgreens, and I made a great haul.

    2 Skintimate Cream Shaves – $7.98
    2 Pure Silks – $4.98
    2 Magic Tapes – $3.98
    4 M&Ms – $1.96

    -$4.00 (Skintimate in ad coupon)
-$3.00 (Pure Silk in ad coupon)
-$1.99 (Magic Tape in ad coupon)
    -$3.00 (2 Skintimate printable coupons)
    -$1.60 (2 Pure Silk MQ – 7/10 RP)
-$2.00 (2 Magic Tape printable coupon from the PDF)
    -$1.50 (2 M&M coupons for $0.75/2 M&Ms – 7/10 RP)

Total= $1.96 (with no problems at all which is worth a lot!)

    • Nicki

They allowed you to use the B1G1 with the Magic Tape AND 2 $1 Manufacturer coupons? My store only allowed me to use one of them. I tried to use two and the computer denied it. I didn’t press the issue because I really like the particular Walgreens I went to and their staff. Wish I could say the same for the other one in town! I wonder if different states allow different combinations. I had trouble at CVS combining a manufacturer and store coupon while others had no problem.

      • Carol_R

The Walgreens coupon policy allows you to use two cents off coupons on a B1G1 promotion. You can print a copy of their policy off of their web site and take it with you.

      • Ashley

It didn’t even have to be pushed through or anything, so I would try a different store or price match at WalMart (if you don’t want to press the issue at your regular store).

  19. Brittany

I’m going to Walgreens tomorrow and I’m getting the Irish Springs deodorant. I was planning on using my RR on shaving cream plus using the in ad coupon and manufacturer coupons for Pure Silk. Will I be able to do this?

    • Stephanie

You should be able to do that scenario, since you can use a manufacturer coupon AND a walgreens coupon in the same transaction, and RR can be used on any transaction (unless it states otherwise). Good luck! And if all else fails, try another Walgreens if they argue, I have to drive to the next town over to get my Walgreens deals!

    • Carol_R

RR are considered manufacturer coupons but in-ad coupons & the ones out of the coupon booklet are not. You cannot have more manufacturer coupons (not store coupons) than items – which is sometimes a problem since they consider RR manufacturer coupons. In cases where you want to use a RR and every item you’re purchasing has a manufacturer coupon, then you’ll need to buy a “filler” item. A “filler” item is one that you are not using a manufacturer coupon on but possibly a store coupon on and is typically something inexpensive or some other item that you need to purchase that you don’t have a manufacturer coupon for.

  20. serena

Just so you know. A couple years ago I tried Skintimate, moisturizing dry skin. It literally wouldn’t come off my hands in the shower. Weird texture that’s waxy or something. Sorry to be negative. Just thought I’d let y’all know.

  21. Stephanie

I got 4 skintimate cream shaves for only $3.20!!! They were $3.99 normal price at my store, and I used the in-ad coupon to take off $8, then used 2 $1.50 mfg. coupons and 2 $1.00 off mfg. coupons! I was super excited 🙂 Thanks for posting this deal!!!!!

  22. Lena

I was amazed I didn’t have to fight and plead my case to some no knowledged manager. YA!
    {Take the coupon policy with you at all times, there are many cashiers/managers that will say you can’t use a Wag coupon & Manufacturer’s together.}
    Skintimate Shaving Cream $4.49 ea x4 ($1.99 wag coupon & 3 – $1.50 + $1.00 ~extra scored from sister)
    3M Magic Tape $1.99 (B1G1 Free wag coupon & $1.00 coupons)
    Summers Eve Wash $4.99 & Wipes $2.99 (B1G1 Free Wag coupon + $2.00 coupon)
    Total Spent $6.91 Savings $28.47
    🙂 TY COLLIN!

  23. sarah

Anyone have problems with the $1/1 skintimate printables and/or the coupons from the newspaper today? I went to my local walgreens and none of the $1/1 would scan no matter if it was printed or cut from smartsource ( I had several of both). The cashier is SUPER pro-coupon and did everything in her power to make it work. She said all day she had SEVERAL people wit the same exact barcoded coupon and it would always say invalid on this one code. They simply couldn’t take it. The $1.50 worked just fine with zero issues.

    • charmedgirl14

My $1 off ones wouldn’t work as well. They just entered them in manually – they said they had been having problems with that particular coupon all day.

  24. SandyR

I love WAGS just as much as the next person, BUT…Walmart has Skintimate for 1.97 everyday! All types. Used my $1.50 off coupon today there!

  25. Beth

I tried doing this deal at Walgreens today by using 2 coupons with 2 skintimate shave creams. Their register would not take both of my manufacturer coupons. Both the manager and the cashier told me it was because the coupon says limit one coupon per purchase. I probably won’t be shopping at Walgreens anymore (at least not the one near my house).

  26. Sarah

Got mine yesterday at Walgreens. Thanks Col!
